Hidden Gem! We have been going to Rainbow room for couple of years now and we love it even more as the years go by. The parking lot is ALWAYS very clean and well kept. I love that they have the outdoor furniture outside so you can see what they have to offer and they also have a little basketball court. Upon my arrival I was probably one of the first people there and I think the manager was checking people in. He was really nice and pleasant. He spoke friendly to my son and we went on our way. It's $5 to get in and you have to fill out waiver. And on some days they have story time (not sure if that still exist) The business is well put together with high end furniture pieces but the hidden gem is the indoor party/play room. There is this HUGE indoor playground and room to run around. There picnic like tables for snacking and lunch, as well as a baby play area. You can catch mom's standing around chatting while their children play. The bathrooms are generally clean. I haven't had a problem with them yet. I would say sometimes the picnic tables need to be wiped down but overall it isn't bad. I love this place! It's perfect for a cold or rainy day and sunshine if you want to beat the heat. Our order for a changing table was delayed over 2.5 weeks from the latest stated delivery date window on our purchase. We waited 12.5 weeks to receive one dresser. The store owner, Jeremy Person, stated that he had no control over orders arriving late. He took zero accountability for the delay, and he took zero accountability for the order being incorrect when it finally arrived. I do not understand the positive reviews of this business. I almost never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to here. We purchased a crib from Tots to Teens around March of 2022. While the sales people at the store are very friendly and the furniture they sell is high quality, we had a terrible experience with the people that deliver and put together the furniture. When the crib was initially delivered to our home, it was too large to fit through our small doorway to our nursery so they brought it into the nursery in pieces and built it there. Unfortunately, when we were moving out of our home a few months later, we realized they had used power tools to put the crib together and stripped the screws so badly that we were unable to take the crib apart to bring it back out. When I called the store, all they did was say they would order new screws for us. I was on my own to take out the screws they had stripped and take apart the furniture. It was a nightmare but luckily I was able to do it. I really wanted to love this place and had a great experience initially but the delivery and installation was horrible and they did little to resolve the problem. If you shop here and buy furniture, just be sure to check the screws before they leave so you're not stuck in the same situation I was! read more

O STARS ...and I mean 0 My experience with Tots to Teens has been an absolute nightmare. I read all of the reviews and I am shocked maybe because they bought only 1 item from them and I bought 2 beds, a desk , 2 dressers, and a crib for them and literally all of the items are in the trash. The first set of beds was assembled incorrectly with no brackets and screws and slats backwards an absolute mess and broke right away because it was installed with the wrong slats and screws for a completely different model and size bed. Tots to Teens came out and said they were going to fix it and the parts came in they put my beds on lack crates and said oh thee aren't the right pieces we need to order them. That was over a year ago... SMH The desk hut was never installed and because the rails to hold it up were never installed properly, and the first dresser I bought that was part of the set started to peel. At first I tough maybe its the kids they got something on it I have 3 boys so you know anything is possible...silly me relocating from NJ and not knowing where to get kids furniture from I bought another a dresser a red one it was on clearance so I said what the heck I was in to buy my youngest a crib so I placed the order. BIG MISTAKE The corners of the corners of the dresser literally peeled off and bubbled and the bottom of the crib they brought me bent and fell out when I put the crib mattress on top...nothing special just a regular crib mattress...Now fast forward to 3 weeks ago I get a call...Now this is comical that the bed slats from the first two beds are finally in and they want to come install them...let me backtrack a little and provide this very important detail this by saying I bought those beds, desk and dresser in August of 2020 I bought the crib and dresser in February in 2021 WTF!!!!!!!! Please tell me where you think those beds are I have moved from a 3rd floor apartment to my own home since then. If this company does not make this right I am going to sue... After the person who called me from Tots to Teens to tell me about the slats looked at the record she admitted it was ridiculous and she would call me back..guess what I am still waiting on that call back........ First visit we walked through looking for furniture for my teenage daughter. Staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately my daughter was hooked on some furniture she saw on Amazon. We bought our daughters playset and had her birthday party here! They have got it down when it comes to service. We had a difficult time trying to find a playset that would work in our backyard because it's very small and there is a slope. Additionally, the yard is fenced and it's so small to start with figuring out how to place a playset where the swings would not collide with the fence nor have anyone slide down the slide into a fence was a big challenge. We went to their location numerous times to look at the different set options and talk with them about the models that would work within our parameters. They listened to our issues and clearly knew their stuff because we now have a perfect play setup in our backyard. We would not have been able to do this just buying a playset at Costco or somewhere without a staff knowledgable about their products. read more

WORST customer service EVER!!! Buyer beware. We bought furniture for our daughters room through their website. We had already a couple of pieces of a certain line and wanted to add on some things. We talked to their customer service over the phone after we had put the order in and they asked us if we wanted to go ahead with the order, as some pieces were bought from another store but from the same furniture line. We were under the impression that everything was correct, so we went ahead with the order - almost $3,500 in total. Upon delivery we found that one piece ($699) did not work for our daughters room and kindly asked them to return it. Then the nightmare started. Although this was a standard item, completely unused and not damaged or anything, which easily sells again to the next customer who orders from this line, this company behaved as if a return was absolutely unusual. They made it impossible for us to return this item and wanted to charge ridiculous fees which were completely out of line. Here is one of their email replies: "We received quotations from the White Glove Delivery company regarding your return. It is broken down into two parts, a fee of $280.00 to pick it up and then a separate fee of $209.00 to return it to us. The cost of delivering that piece to you was also $209.00. Additionally there is a 20% re-stocking fee. You may choose to find an alternative company to pick up and deliver the piece to us. In this case, we will inspect the piece upon when it arrives back at our warehouse. If it is still in excellent condition, we will refund your purchase minus $209.00 for the original delivery and the 20% restocking fee. Any damages will be added to the restocking fee." We definitely cannot recommend this company. Buyers beware, especially when you run into issues and need to return anything. read more

My husband and kids love this place. We went there when our first kid was born, almost 3 years ago. The staff was very friendly (and multilingual, which is important for diverse families), and they went through all our options several times. I appreciated the fact they seemed more interested in us getting what we wanted and not just selling stuff. They were super helpful while we adjusted to our second baby and gave us good suggestions on how to use what we already had at the time. Deliveries were fast and very clear from the beginning. It all went pretty flawless. We've also used the playground area they have and my kids love it. It's quite affordable and they end up exhausted. We're about to book my kid's birthday party there. I would like to give a better rating to Tots to Teens but so far the experience has not been great. We went there and really liked the selection and showroom. People were nice in the store. Prices were reasonable. We purchased a bedroom set for our twins on the way, back on May 7. Total was $3400+ but we got a lot of stuff and we have two kids on the way. Delivery was reported to be in 6-8 weeks. Everything was delivered on June 17 which was right about the estimated time. So far so good. At delivery we noticed some damage and blemishes on our furniture. Not massive damage but things that are noticeable. Both of the front pieces of the cribs had areas of damage and retouch. The night stand had a ding. The changing tray had a bunch of scratches. Now if we had purchased these things used I guess that would be fine, but we paid for these new, and not cheap. All damage was documented with photos and forms filled out appropriately. We were told that we would be contacted about replacement of the pieces that were damaged. First the offer was for someone to come and touch up the areas. Nope - this is new furniture. Why would we be ok with just a touch up, especially since one of the pieces looked like it had been touched up previously? Since that time, we have constantly had to call them to find out the status of the replacement parts. Nobody contacts us, we always have to take the initiative. Had to apply for a claim which was approved, but now another piece is not ready, yadda yadda, we will let you know when everything is ready. It is July 23 and we haven't heard anything from them since July 11. And that was only in response to our inquiry. Prior to that they responded to an inquiry again initiated by us on June 30. I really want to give you guys a better rating. And I understand that stuff sometimes gets damaged. But if you sell new products and we pay for new products, we expect new products. Second, the follow up has been lacking, and I feel like you are just hoping that we forget about the whole thing and disappear. Certainly this might happen since we might have our babies any minute now. That's why I'm writing this, so that it does not go away until you decide to do right and fix the situation. Thanks. Addendum (Aug 4): We were contacted by the store who brought out a replacement for the two cribs. We thought the other two pieces also had some scratches do we ended up keeping what we had. The store manager Kareem was apologetic about the situation and offered us several options to try to rectify it. Ultimately we took a discount on the scratched pieces which we thought was acceptable. I was happier with their responsiveness after this review was posted and thought they were equitable with what the l they offered to make the situation right. I just urged them to try to make sure they stay in contact with their customers during the process. I've increased the review to 4 stars because ultimately the product was a good one albeit with some damage, but they offered a reasonable alternative resolution in the end. Thanks. read more

Our experience at tots to teens has been horrible. We spent close to $6k on nursery furniture for our daughter. There was little to no communication after 8-12 week delivery window had passed; we had to call multiple times to even get an update. When the furniture finally did arrive, the top drawer of the dresser broke (it will no longer stay closed) after a few months of very light use. We notified tots to teens and, after over 4 months, we still do not have a functioning dresser. I've attached a picture of what we have had to do to make the drawer stay closed - it is impossible to use a dresser/changing table when the top drawer is always extended! We are constantly being told that we will be contacted with updates, and no contact is made. The amount of time we have spent trying to get answers is ridiculous, especially considering how expensive this set was. We have never encountered such a poor product (Romina furniture) or customer service. read more

This review is for their playroom (Rainbow Room). I haven't purchased from the furniture section though they have great selection and the prices seemed really reasonable. I went to a birthday party at the Rainbow Room over a year ago. I was skeptical to hear that a friend was having her child's birthday party in a furniture store but was quickly impressed by the facility. I had a just crawling/toddling child at that point but we were able to enjoy the younger child section of the playroom. At the time it had a bunch of foam structures for the kids to play with that my little guy and his friends really enjoyed. When it came time to rent a location for my child's 2nd birthday, I didn't consider the Rainbow Room too much as I thought the 'big kid' section would be beyond his capabilities. We checked out a few all-inclusive party locations and felt that they were lacking. On a whim, we showed up at the playroom on a weekend and asked if we could check out the space. They didn't have a party going on and because our little guy was under 2, he was able to play for free. We went into the room and found it was completely deserted. They said that during the weekdays it can get pretty busy but weekends, if there aren't parties booked, are generally quiet because people assume that it's already filled. Nice tip if you're looking to entertain your child on a rainy weekend - just call and see if the room is available for open play. Anyways, we spent an hour enjoying the playroom and deciding it was perfect for our party needs. The price was very reasonable (I believe it was $250 for a weekend party)for what it included: 1.5 hours of party with 30 minutes before for setup and 30 minutes after for cleanup, though they cleanup after and in between parties as well. You can bring your own food, decorations, etc and can have up to 24 kids. A lot of the all-inclusive party places charged extra to bring in outside food or you had to order from their limited and overpriced vendor selection. They also provide an audio hookup that we were easily able to connect to our iPhone to play music for the party. There are ample tables provided for eating/decorating and it was very clean. The play structures themselves were great and the kids had a total blast. Oh and the previous foam pieces in the younger child area were replaced with a smaller structure. I was a little skeptical about the appeal but I found it was better suited for the space. With the foam pieces, big kids kept running in to play and threatened to trample the little kids. The newer piece is better suited to younger toddlers/older infants and wasn't exciting to the bid kids who preferred to play on the main pieces. In addition to the facility itself, the staff was very friendly and professional. When I went to book the party, we went through the list of available dates/times so I could pick one suitable for our party. I received a confirmation receipt and watched them log the information both in their computer and in their planner book. This made me feel secure in knowing that my reservation wouldn't get lost. I called a week before the party to confirm and they were very friendly and reminded me that I could arrive early to setup, etc. After the party (and we took every bit of the 30 minutes to clean up), I 'checked out' and they told me that I didn't have to do a thing - they would handle the rest of the cleanup and to enjoy my day. I would absolutely book with them again. The kids had so much fun and the facility was perfect for our needs. When we left, some of the kids were out front playing on the trampolines and outdoor sets. I saw on Facebook that they are updating the play equipment at the end of March so I'm excited to see what updates they make. What they previously had was perfect but if they are updating it even further, I'm sure it'll be great. read more

I ordered a conversion kit for a crib that I had purchased years ago via their online store. The item arrived quickly, but some hardware was missing as the box was damaged by UPS. They contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and replacement parts arrived soon after. When we attempted to put the crib together, it simply would not work! The staff at Tots to Teens went above and beyond to help us fix the problem. I sent pictures and spent lots of time with them on the phone, then they contacted the manufacturer again to find out what the problem was. With so many options available, we were able to pick out exactly what we wanted. The salesman are very knowledgeable and will guide you to make an informed decision. Fabulous! Everyone was extremely helpful and informative. I had originally ordered my furniture from another store and kept getting the run around, items being pushed to back order with unreasonable delivery dates, etc. From the time I walked into tots to teens, not only was the staff nice, but after I placed my order I would get updates about my order. Then they called me personally to discuss when the best time for delivery would be...no automated system or having to call a customer service number if the assigned date/time didn't work. Everything was way more conducive to a working pregnant mom....and the quality and options way better as well. Lastly, the two gentlemen (AJ and Joseph) who delivered the furniture were polite, efficient and careful as they moved everything to an upstairs back bedroom and assembled the crib. A great finish to a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them and would 100% use them again. read more

I ordered a furniture set on December 1st, when I was 20 weeks pregnant. I was told 4-6 weeks delivery. The items were delivered at the beginning of January. On delivery I noted one of the dressers appeared to have damage from a manufacturing flaw. This was noted on the delivery sheet and I was told that someone would contact me tp get it repaired in the next day. After several days I called and for the number of a contractor they use, who took 3 weeks to come out to then tell me what I already knew, which was that it couldn't be fixed and I would need a new dresser. It took multiple phone calls to ensure the new dresser was on its way. It is now the end of March. I still don't have a replacement dresser. My baby is now 2 weeks old (full term). I keep getting told it is on the boat somewhere and the date keeps getting pushed out. I have not gotten an apology. I won't be able to use the dresser to store anything for some time because I presume it will have a strong smell as the other furniture did, and I want to let it off- gas before I put anything of the baby 's in it to decrease the risk of SIDS. Right now the baby sleeps in our room but if there is much more delay in delivery I am going to have to push out the daye I was planning to move the baby because I am not comfortable with her sleeping in the room with the strong odor, especially when she is young. I ordered the furniture very early specifically to allow it to off-gas for some weeks before the baby was born, and now I am really stuck with not being able to use the nursery for the baby in a way that I feel is safe. (Of note, I still haven't gotten a conversion kit I ordered, but do not yet need, 4 months later) read more

Went there looking for baby furniture. Let me tell you they have some of the best quality furniture out there and a huge selection. They have great customer service and I really appreciated the no hassle salespeople. We ended buying our daughters crib from there. They quoted us 6-8 weeks and it was delivered and installed within 6. They also have a party room with a huge playset inside. I'll have to take my daughter there when she's older. Terrible customer service is no way to start a new business! Yesterday I stopped by this store for the first time since it opened two months ago. Before I arrived, I called to get directions and the lady on the phone was very nice and informative. However, when I walked into the store I was greeted by a sour-looking man with a half-assed "hello". I proceeded to look at every single crib without any other acknowledgement of my presence by the three employees who were working the floor. At first I thought they were just taking a laid-back approach to retail but since I was there for 20 minutes, there were no other customers in the store that day and I was only spoken to once, now I think they were just being rude. Maybe it's because I don't yet look pregnant, or maybe it's because I didn't have my husband in-tow, or maybe it's because I didn't look like I could afford the merchandise (most of their cribs cost over $1000). I'm not sure why I was ignored, but I was. Not only do I not plan to buy a crib from these people, I do not plan to return to this store again. ps- There are rumors that this store is the reincarnation of USA Baby & Child Space in Cary, NC. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the new owner of Tots to Teens/Rainbow Play Systems. I purchased a convertible crib and dresser that was to convert to a full size bed. The owner was less than willing to take responsibility to make things right when the side rails would not attach to the footboard, saying that the responsibility fell on the manufacturer and the original owner. She offered a different color side rails and was snippy when I asked for assistance from her staff in putting the bed together. I had already spent HOURS attempting to convert the bed and was hoping that maybe it was just something I was doing something wrong. She said she could possibly work me in maybe in several weeks, never guaranteeing anything. Instead of being helpful she blamed me for having a different color listed on the box of the side rails. I placed the order, waited months and picked up the furniture that I believed to be the entire package- including the crib, conversion kit, toddler rails, and dresser, all in the color I chose- espresso. One would think that if you want to keep customers you would offer to remedy these simple situations, especially since I was in the market to purchase a large play system for my 5 year old daughter. I would not recommend this company. This company does not value their customers. Instead, I am going through the manufacturer in the hopes that I might get the replacement parts I need. I was really surprised by the other review of this store. Yes, it is not a fancy storefront, but I would rather have a quality product at a fair price than fancy digs. Plus our son loves to play in the indoor play area. I have purchased Stanley Young America furniture from here, at several hundred dollars below the prices I had seen online. And the owner has always been very friendly and accommodating - even moving furniture around for me so that I can see how different finishes looked together (since I was going for a compiled over time look instead of buying a matching set). My family and I visited the store which was recommended by neighbors, who had also visited. The selection is excellent, and I was very happy to see that they carry furniture made GreenGuard certified manufacturers, with many floor models available to look at. The staff (in particular the store manager, Kareem) have been very attentive and excellent to work with thus far. We ordered our daughter's twin bed and furniture set last week, and can't wait to receive it! The Party room is also wonderful, and the store kindly provides a certificate for people who buy furniture there to host a party in the room within a year of your purchase. The selection was tremendous, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the experience was entirely positive from start to finish. I was easily able to work within my budget and still purchase furniture that pleased my "tween-age" daughter's sense of style and my need for great quality. Although my order was slightly delayed by the manufacturer, the staff stayed on top of it, kept me informed, and arranged delivery as soon as it arrived in their warehouse. Wonderful place to shop and play! We purchased bedroom furniture for our toddler daughter here. She was so excited to get her "big girl" furniture, and we loved the quality and affordable prices. We also took advantage of the open play time in the Rainbow Room and were blown away by the space! I had heard great things about it and looked it up online, but pictures don't do it justice. It's a huge space with tons of fun play equipment for a variety of ages. We booked the space for our daughter's 3rd birthday, and she's so excited to have the space reserved for her and al her friends! We'll definitely continue to come back to shop and play. They have a huge selection of nursery furniture and some unique pieces and styles I haven't seen elsewhere. I can't wait until we're ready to shop for baby #2! BEST place in the triangle to get ANYTHING you need for your family! My wife and family had such an amazing experience here. After visiting several local baby/child stores and seeing the different quality and prices available, we were SHOCKED when we got to this store. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about every item in the store and the prices are excellent. The cribs we found at other stores were nice, but the quality here is the highest for a CHEAPER price than local chain stores. Wait until you see the play-sets here... I am a grown man and wanted to play on some of these things. They are very unique and 100X better quality than most retailers. Overall, our experience couldn't have been any better. Kareem and many others at T2T were so kind and helpful even if we weren't deciding to purchase that day.
