We found all of that (and more!) at Smyrna Christian School. SCS has helped our child learn how to play, work together, and establish great friendships. They have continuously provided materials/activities that interest our child (and challenge her!) They have encouraged our child's efforts (which has truly aided in adding to her confidence.) They set clear limits for behavior (which is appreciated!) I love always receiving our child's drawings, writings, and crafts at the end of every week. They encourage parental involvement (which goes back to the whole "community feel") and welcome parental participation with class parties. How beautiful is that?! I truly cannot say enough GOOD about this establishment. Before we found SCS, our only-child went to a "glorified daycare" preschool and for so long, we didn't know how much it was hindering our child. It wasn't until we moved and enrolled at SCS that we saw our child turn a complete 180 in every aspect of her life that we realized what EXCELLING truly meant. I am forever grateful for SCS (and my only complaint would be that I can't keep our child here for kindergarten, too!)

Every morning we are greeted with a smile and a "Good Morning" from Miss Jodi in the office, and all along the hallways my kiddo happily says hello to all the teachers. They're all very friendly and engage your child in conversation which makes them feel seen and heard, and important. She just loves talking with them on the way to her classroom. Her teacher is Miss Vickie, and she just adores her. She is kind and attentive, and a wonderful human being. My daughter has learned SO much this year, and she loves doing it! They learn Spanish, colors, numbers, writing, and she even comes home telling me about the fun centers they have in class, and how silly George Washington's wig is! I love how happy she is there, and how much she's grown in her independence and knowledge. I'm convinced that a better school does not exist. Truly, it has been the biggest blessing for our child. I wish they taught kindergarten so we could stay!!

He loved his teacher Ms.Shannon, made great friends and truly had a blast while still learning. One of the other teacher speaks Spanish and taught him to count from 1-10, I thought it was so sweet and such a great jumpstart into getting him interested in other languages. Sucks he can't go here anymore but I'm grateful for his teachers during his time there. You can just tell and feel they love the kids and their job!

This time the video games were not working and the tablets were not available to them because the workers said that they could not use them. They said the other toys were for much younger children maybe like for under. So they walked around bored the whole time. We requested that they be fed but when we picked them up they charged us for the food but my kids said they had not been fed so I told them they hadn't been said and they said that the computer listed them as fed but they did not charge us for that . The air hockey machine was broken as well so my kids could not use that. My kids said that the workers were shouting at the kids and didn't speak very kindly. At one point the kids were all shouting the f word but the workers didn't Stop them. They're also were many children and babies but only two workers watching all of them. We love the idea of drop in child care and the price is nice. It was a good experience before when there were things available for older children. But my children walked around bored the entire 2 hours we were gone and never want to go back .​

The only one I don't hear gossiping about our kids or their teachers is Rebecca and she is new. This is not how you handle a business! Too many kids and not enough teachers. Always new teachers and our old ones left which is when it was good and when my daughter and I liked it. She never learned anything and this is supposed to be a "school". They just let them play all day with teachers half looking and on their phones.

This review is long overdue! My family absolutely loves KidsPark! My boys, 5 & 3, beg to come here…read moreand my husband and I always feel very comfortable leaving them in care of the wonderful staff here. The facility is extremely clean, they have activities for all ages, and the owners are there often and extremely involved in day to day operational . My sons always come home excited to show us the new craft they made while there for the evening. We've used KidsPark for date nights and weekday school closures and it's always been a lifesaver. I can't recommend this drop in childcare center enough and hope to be able to continue bringing my boys here for years to come!
