Placing our son at The Place for Learning was the best decision my husband and I made. I had the…read morepleasure of meeting Ivonne and taking a tour of the beautiful and cozy school. Ivonne was warm, welcoming, professional and super knowledgable. She truly has a beautiful heart and its evident she loves children. I see her every day either upon my arrival or when I pick up Ethan, she is very hands on and always greats us with a smile. Ethan's teacher, Daiana is beyond amazing. She is so positive, uplifting and loving. Her interaction with the children is energetic and fun. On numerous occasions when picking my son up, he runs into her arms and does not want to leave :-) I always tell my husband I wish Daiana could remain his teacher till he goes to college :-). Ethan has only been at The Place for Learning for a few months and he is speaking so much more, in English, Spanish and sign language. I love his nature walks and movement classes. He is truly blossoming and I owe it to The Place for Learning.

My son has attended Liberty Montessori/The place for learning since he was a year old till he was 4…read moreyears and we loved it. We have moved him to a new school now because we moved away from the area. The teachers are very caring. We have seen our son grow into an enthusiastic young boy in their care. The butterfly classroom curriculum and the extra curricular activities are very good. The place is very clean and their sick policy is quite strict which is a good thing. It is very important that you feel safe when you drop your kids at school and this school gives us that exact feeling that we don't need to worry about our kids when they are here. We really love this school.

TLDR: Smile is absolutely amazing, and if you have the chance to enroll your child - do it…read more Our son attended Smile Nursey from the time he was 5 months old in Jan. 2022 up until last month when we moved out of JC. Ms. Debbi, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Christina, and Ms. Leanna (and the rest of the staff/teachers) are wonderful. Our son loved going to school every day, and he always - without fail- had a huge smile on his face when we picked him up at the end of the day. It was so clear that he was loved, nurtured, and encouraged when he was there. Ms. Debbi and her team were very responsive, and used the Brightwheel app to community with us and document his day (naps, meals, activities, pictures). They also got to know our son very quickly - his likes, dislikes; his temperament and nature; what food he likes the best; and how to get the best nap out of him (to name a few). There was never any hesitation or concern about the care he received. His teachers loved him as if he was their own. Aside from the amazingness of the school, Ms. Sheri (the owner) is a pillar of the community and is involved in so many events, as well as Whole Spectrum Austim. Legit - the caring nature trickles down from the top. In sum, Smile is a hidden gem in JC and we were so fortunate that our son was in their care!

After subsequent reports from our child, clearly identifying the same teacher, we immediately removed her from the school. Parents please beware!

When she was in her infant room, Ms. Christine was kind and patient. She engaged her both emotionally and physically. Im sure that my daughter reached all her milestones early because her teachers worked so hard with her. Now my daughter is in the toddler classroom and she is obsessed with Ms. Lidia and Ms. Danielle. She calls for them by name on the weekends. I feel so safe and comfortable knowing that these 2 women are taking care of my daughter. In addition to all the love and care she get, I am so beyond impressed with the menu my daughter I served everyday. She eats such a diverse menu of foods that I couldn't possible recreate in my house!

We originally chose the Goddard School because of their covid procedures, way back in 2020-2021,…read morethat were very strict. Throughout then, till now, we have been beyond satisfied with their organization, safety protocols (protests, covid, etc.), food selections/variety/nutrition (organic, etc.), communication (frequency, methods and accuracy) and most importantly the teachers. The people and systems that really hold everything together to give the opportunity to forster fun and learning. From Lowest Aged Classrooms - Ms. Victoria and Ms. Molly - both so kind, gentle and understanding, which at a younger age, really what kids need. They take note of important things like food intake, health, sign language, and even smaller (but life hack tips) items such as good sippy cups to use, etc. Ms. Monica and Ms. Destiny - they had our (first) son at a very challenging age and really were his first teachers at Goddard. They worked with him to achieve so many milestones. He loves them both dearly! They were upbeat, so dedicated and really got him out of his shell (and may I add out of many bad moods)! We can never thank them enough! Ms. Philena and Ms. Tiana - Both great teachers! Ms. Tiana is so sweet and caring. She keeps kids calm and speaks to them in such a way that they really open up to her. Mrs. Philena is also great, she speaks to the kids like little adults, and helps them to achieve milestones, such as staying dry after a nap, etc. She communicates (as she was the late night teacher) to the parents at pick up about the happenings of the day! Ms. O and Ms. Nina - Ms. O is a model teacher - as she must be for the age she teaches is when they start to get a little "smart"! She is firm and challenges them (holds them accountable) as well as relates to them on a friend level. Ms. Nina is so warm! She knows the unseen things such as if they may have to use the bathroom, or if they are in any type of "mood." She gets to know each kid and treats them as if they were her own. The administration really runs a tight ship - there is never a slip-up. Kellyanne, Yolanda, Sylvia and Emily they are all highly efficient whether it be getting the daily reports, communicating sicknesses/incidents, holidays, or crazy things that parents ask for like pictures of how big the chunks of food their kid are eating (guilty), or swiftly getting ....snacks or throw up off the floor (the sheer number of things that they handle I am sure I only know a small fraction). They basically are the neck to the (very heavy!) head. We could not be happier about the quality of teachers at the Goddard School to entrust them with the foundational years of our children.
