They made sure is was a perfect match for both the nanny and the family. In the meantime I have had my share of experience with two families from care.com and in my many years of experiences I have never ever ran into awful dysfunctional families. The first family; two kids ages 5 and 1 1/2 the 5 year old still sleeps in a baby crib and totally runs the household. Demanding and telling the grown ups what to do; from his crib as he plays on the laptop and eat snacks. The worst I have ever seen in my life and the 1 1/2 the mother still feeds him infant formula from a infant bottle.. the house was a total mess. Things everywhere just as a hoarder environment.. total not cool. The second family post stated, they were looking for a nanny however they were basically looking for a maid servant, (which wasn't discuss during the interview) the family wants you to help clean out their dirty garage, finish unpacking their basement (which is filled with packed boxes) take their large trash cans to and from the street, do both kids and the parents laundry almost everyday, cook family dinners, unload and load their dirty dishes, bring the dishes from the dinner table (after they are done eating) place them in the dish washer, load and unload the dishes and organize their home; basically they didn't want to do anything for theirselves. The house was a total mess with clothes and dishes everywhere, several dirty full garbage bags in the garage because they were to lazy to take it to the trash that sits outside.. This is just to name a few of the things. Absolute Best Care Application for the families are detailed in the job description so there won't be any surprise as to what the family is really searching for. I recommend Absolute Best Care to both Nannies and Families that are looking for a great fit.

They are really just interested in sending you resumes and trying to convince you to hire someone so they can get paid and move on. They pushed us to choose between the only two candidates they sent us and when we had to let her go after 2 months they refused to replace her without another fee. They also were completely uninterested in learning why it didn't work out and offered to replace her with someone they hadn't even interviewed yet (for a fee). This is not a premium service but they charge like they are. This is a resume factory. Also, when we pushed them, it turned out they hadn't been forthcoming about the candidates experience. When we were considering her, they told us that she had taken their newborn class but it turns out that was actually over 10 years ago and she hadn't had any actual experience with newborns for over 20 years. Just avoid. There are plenty of other agencies out there.
