I will never go back to this place again. I have gone here twice and both times I went the employees constantly try to scam you into buying products or up sell you. Prior to getting my spray tan I talked to the lady who sprayed me and said I saw you could purchase a groupon, she explained I did not need to purchase the groupon and the rate would be honored at check out. Before getting sprayed the lady talked about how the "venetian spray tan is better", so I said I would go wth that. THEN after I was sprayed and went to check out the "venetian spray tan" was conveniently NOT apart of the groupon rate. AFTER this the lady continuously tried to get me to buy a lotion that would "make my tan last longer". I said no numerous times and was questioned with "are you sure". This place is terrible. The service is terrible. I left feeling like I was scammed. I also want to note other people that I know have also felt this way about this tanning place. read more

Would not honor a tan I already purchased without making me buy 2 more which I don't want or need.!! Unfortunately, my experience most recently with Touch of Bronze will be my last. I have been going here for years for my spray tan needs and typically have always had good outcomes with the normal spray tan. I think they have gotten a little too comfortable and are no longer focused on caring for their customers. I traveled 45 minutes and upon walking in I was blatantly ignored by 3 employees standing at the desk. Not only that, there were 2 dogs, one bigger than me, jumping all over me as I walked in. I was basically pushed into the corner of the lobby by the dogs and still had not been acknowledged by the OWNER and the staff. Don't worry, the owner was enjoying her Dunkin Donuts coffee. I was finally greeted after pushing the dogs off of me and asked "should just come back another time?" The response was sarcastic "what do you mean??" Overall, this was a terribly awkward, bizarre, and unprofessional experience. To top it off, my "venetian" tan was terrible and there were many spots missed on my body and it washed off within 2-3 days before my vacation. Waste of time, waste of money, and extremely poor customer service. Never again. read more

I did a wrap thing what they claim to make you loose "6-20 inch" in 60 minutes. It's a sheer waste of time and money. Firstly, the staff will measure you before the stupid wrap and will write the numbers which now I believe were fake. After the wrap is over they will measure again, I was so excited to loose some extra inches that I didn't care to look at the measuring tape myself. The girl in the staff wrote my measurements after the wrap and a quarter or half an inch or may be one inch less from every part of my body after the wrap was over and then summed it up that I lost 11 inches. I was really happy, but couldn't feel much difference. But the owner said that I will see the real difference within 24 hours. And they handed me a paper with my before and after measures stats. On my way back home, I spoke to my husband and he explained me that this is not possible that you can loose so many inches in an hour, he suggested me to weigh myself when I reach home and also check if I really lost any inches using measuring tape. I was shocked to check that I weighed the same and there was no difference in my measures. The owner insisted me on buying more packages of wrap while I was leaving, she also said if I don't buy that day they won't offer me discount and I will have to pay regular price which was double of what I paid. I learned my lesson, it's useless to go to such place they will just make you lose "money" and not your "inches". read more

I purchased a Groupon for 3 tans and used it like weeks before the pandemic happened. Knowing that I don't get sprayed often, I asked if they expire and when. I was told they don't. Then COVID-19 happened. Apparently, also I was given the wrong information and my tans did expire. While they did apparently extend the expiration on tans for the timeframe they were closed, this business did not take into account the possibility that some people may not feel comfortable/have health issues that would not allow them to get sprayed just because they are open. I also find out that what I was not told in the first place that apparently my tans expired 6 months after because I used a Groupon. While I still did not think it was the right way and both of my tans should have been honored, I had no intention of putting a bad review because they did honor one. However, I am writing this review because I have never in my life gotten such a horrible spray tan. I don't get them often but I've definitely gotten over a dozen where it has been a mix between being sprayed by a machine and a person. I always follow all the rules pre and post spray tan so that is not the reason why this tan was horrendous. Even worse, I got this done for a photo shoot and my photographer is going to have to airbrush things out because of this spray tan. After taking my first shower, I had brown spots on my face which I never had before. They almost looked like those brown sunspots people get, which I do not have and definitely didn't get overnight. In addition, areas of my body were blotchy, my feet were horrible - absolutely horrible! I even asked at the place after getting tanned about my feet if this was ok and I was assured it was. I asked about a couple spots because I was concerned. Literally, instead of trying to moisturize to allow the tan to last as long as possible the next day I was exfoliating my feet and a few days later, I actually just starting exfoliating to try and get it all off because it was that bad. To be honest, I honestly wonder if I received a bad job/screwed up my spray tan on purpose because I made a stink about my tans expiring and they were willing to honor one. Thank god I didn't take them up on their other offer of honoring both if I purchased a special of 3 tans for $99 where I would then have 5, I would have been livid if I spent $100 and this is the tan that I received. The fact that they were willing to not honor my tans already left a bad taste in my mouth but the last time I was sprayed there, I had no issues and I didn't want to spend money so I figured I would just take the one but honestly I wish I never step foot in that tanning salon in the first place. read more

luckily, i have a higher end package which cuts down a lot of the hefty waiting period. because let me tell you, this place gets bumpin'! and rightfully so. it's a friendly environment, great beds and stand-ups, awesome lotions and cute and fun promotions. it's really clean and the staff makes a point to know you're name. which is always a nice feeling. touch of bronze has given me a nice golden glow and i couldn't be happier! :o) the ONLY tiff i have is, sometimes, and i guess i understand, they get a bit pushy with selling their lotions. and i just have a REALLY difficult time fathoming the price of some. i can't imagine spending $99 on tanning lotion. i just can't! read more

I've done the air brush tan twice so far here and I've had a really good experience with it. The tan lasted about a week and it looked very natural. No oompa loompas here. Thank goodness! It's always a little awkward standing in a little room topless with someone spray painting you, but both women who have spray tanned me were very professional and didn't make me feel any more uncomfortable than I would have anyway given the circumstances. I had signed up for tanning here recently but stopped going after 4 or 5 times. Reason is because of the staff. All they wanna do is try to bully you into upgrading, or to try their weight loss wraps! I got one month of tanning using their standard bed. It really got annoying every time I went in because they kept trying to upsell me . The actual beds themselves kinda suck too. Maybe if I I got the upgraded bed for the very upgraded pricey would of got tan. I'll never go bAck. Beware of the vultures at the front desk. read more

I bought a GroupOn for three air brush tans. I was a little skeptical but figured $25 wasn't bad as a test run so I went for it. I have a wedding in a few weeks so I went in for my first session just a few days ago. I upgraded to the Venetian spray for $15 as this version lasts longer and is considered "premium." I bought the $30 moisturizer (a bit over-priced, here!) and followed the after-care directions to the letter. Within 24 hours I was a blotchy mess. NO GOOD! I called and spoke to Beverly, who I am assuming is the manager. She was very kind and very interested in helping me resolve the issue to make this a positive experience. She offered to bring me in to try to touch me up with the basic. What did I have to lose? I went for it. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! I love my tan and have been getting compliments about how natural it looks. No one believes me that it's an airbrush. The entire staff is friendly and they get to know you pretty quickly. It's a nice atmosphere and I'll definitely go back. Even with the issue I had with the first airbrush, I'll be back. read more

DON'T Waste your money on their services because it doesn't work!!! Tried their weight loss program lost about 3 lbs when I was told I would loose about 6-7 lbs in the 1st week. 2nd week did loss any weight and their product made me sick. Demanded my money back, but they will not give a refund back. If you are going to use this business, start out on a day to day or week to week service to ensure it is working for u. I have loss over $1000 to TOB and got no result or refund. Also thier wraps don't work, u only loss water weight, which will be back in couple of days! Run the other way when you hear TOB!!!!!! I was looking for a good UV tan replacement for my upcoming wedding and made an appointment to get the Venetian spray tan. I went on Saturday and I'm in love! The spray tech did such an incredible job from head to toe. I was expecting to look a bit streaky, and a tad orange but I'm happy SO happy with the result (However my face is fading quicker than id like it to, could have used more spray in that region). She asked me how tan I would like to be, sun kissed or very tan and I said somewhere in the middle. It's the perfect shade. You need to exfoliate first, that is key. I will definitely be going back for more in the future. $50 is costly, but it beats a tanning bed and lasts 9-12 days. And don't forget to pick up the sunless tanning safe lotion. Nice people. Clean. My body wraps produced no results. I am 12 lbs overweight and trying to trim down my love handels. I selected the 4 time treatment plan, and really just alot of hype in the begining. I workout 6 days a week and watch what I eat. No bread, no alcohol, no junk food. I can not recommend the wraps for loosing inches off your waist. $169.00 down the drain. read more

Nice tanning beds. Ok staff. Some could be nicer. The guy who was there is amazing always happy and smiling. Though When I moved I had to cancel membership, since I wasn't going to live near them. Was charged twice after I cancelled it. Still have not gotten refunded. When I call, the lady with the red hair is always snippy and of no help. Really rude and tells me to contact my bank when what the hell are they going to do about their Ef up. The gentleman who either works there or owns it should be there at all times. Now I never know if I will get my money back for my two months of tanning I never went to since I moved. The people here are RACIST, EXPECIALLY THE SO CALLED MANAGER NICOLE. I came here yesterday to sign up for monthly tanning. First off I want to say ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT. When I first walked in this place I was not getting a good vibe for some odd reason. This place didn't feel welcoming and people did not seem professional. This is my first time at this establishment. I walked in and the owner and so called manager Nicole was there. I told them what I was looking for and then Nicole showed me around the equipment. We walked to the back so she can show me the platinum bed, which I was interested in. There was a picture of Snookey on the wall so I asked her about her bronzer , she stated it was the most popular one they have. I asked if it came out black dirty like on your skin bc I know some bronzers lotions do that, where it leaves streaks on you. So Nicole looked at me and said " look at me I am not black like a NI**ER, I HATE NI**ERS". I could not believe what this person just said to me. I looked at her and said are you serious, both of my kids are half black and my husband is black. Nicole grabbed my arm and said OMG I am soo sorry I didn't mean it like that. I went off on Nicole as I was walking to the front of the salon so I can speak to the owner. Of course as soon I started to talk to the owner Nicole denied ever saying the "N" word and said I took it wrong. How can you take saying that word wrong? If you didn't say it what did I take wrong then. Why would I get that upset out of know where???? The owner pulled me outside and of course is saying this is out of Nicoles character BLAH BLAH BLAH. For someone to say that word to someone not to mention a customer she just met is CRAZY TO ME. I took that sooo personal bc you are talking about my family, my husband and kids.. It took so much out of me not to PUNCH THIS BIT** IN HER FACE. I do not know how god stopped me from doing it. I have never experienced this before. The owner of course uses the excuse that its so shocking she would say this bc she has black friends.. That is such the easy way out for people, come on you cannot use that statement, its so played out.. She probably has 1 black person she knows and now that means she is not a RACIST, ARE YOU SERIOUS.. Okay so I gave this place 4 stars because I reserve 5 stars for places that blow me away. Even though this place didn't reach that level, I would go back. A friend had told me about this place, she bought their groupon for a spray tan and said it was decent. I had always been interested in a spray tan so I thought why not. First impression was it's in a somewhat run down looking shopping center but that's not their fault. When I walked in I was impressed with their decor as it didn't look like the classic chain tanning places, it looked like they cared and wanted you to feel like you were in an upscale place. There were about 4 other people waiting for the beds and someone was getting sprayed ahead of me. It is definetly a popular place. I did kind of get the vibe that they were judging me (maybe because I was new) but everyone was very nice. The girl (Stephanie?) who sprayed me was great, super nice and non-awkward. Mind you I was nervous about this whole thing because I did not want to be orange or streaky. I upgraded to the venetian (they definetley tried to sell/upgrade me everything while I was there, which I admire but can come off pushy) because I could shower that night (5 hours later) and it was supposed to last longer. I ended up spending $27 for everything (upgraded tan, small lotion, and tip). Which is a great deal in my book. After my tan I followed all the instructions, but only about 3 days after I started pealing, mostly in places where I sweated a lot. So at least I could hide them but I ended up scrubbing the whole thing off because it got patchy on my arms after a week. My friends thought my tan looked great and natural. I would get the spray tan again but only if I really wanted to be tan for an event. read more

Bought a package of wraps a few months back and would never do it again. Don't waste your money or time. 1. Found out I hadn't been given the wrap that I had paid for AFTER THE FACT. So they had to give me another one to replace it. at this point I wanted my money back, they refused and will not refund anything. 2. Made another appointment, was called because the tech got sick and they needed to reschedule me (Im 45min away) totally inconvenient. Gave them a few months called back to schedule another one. 3. This appointment was also cancelled and I was asked to reschedule because the tech wont be in. (again requested a refund from the girl, she said she'd call her manager and call me back-NEVER RECIEVED A CALL BACK AND REFUSED A REFUND AGAIN. At this point I see this place as unprofessional, inconvenient and totally lacking when it comes to customer service. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE WRAPS. YOU WONT GET AN APPOINTMENT AND IF YOU DO THEY WONT KEEP IT. Just work out to lose those pesky few inches and save your dollars. read more

My daughter uses their spray tan product before she goes to her cheerleading competitions. Completely natural and no "orangey" look at all. The Venetian package is reasonable and looks great. I am so upset I don't know where to start?! Ok I will try to keep this as short and to the point as possible. I bought the group on for one tan. I made a appt. Yesterday for 4. I arrived 3:30ish. I told them this I'd my 1st time(when asked) and the front desk redeemed my group on as I waited. I was then taken to a back room asked again if I ever got a spray tan and then told to disrobe. After the session I was given brief instructions on when to wash etc. This is where the nightmare begins(or I notice their broken system). I am told my tan cost $50 ( I remind her that she redeemed my group on) she says the tan I received was $50 (wait there ate option I didn't know) She says I upgraded and she has to charge additional $15 than they upsell me on the lotion. No one explained this to me?! I get home and I notice my color is very uneven(face, hands, etc) I will never go back here again. I even gave the tanning tech a $10 tip. The worst! read more

The first time I went I got the Groupon deal for one spray tan. I upgraded to the Venetian tan and absolutely loved it. The girl that sprayed me was very nice and had great technique. I had such a great experience that I decided to buy more Venetian tans for the future. The second time I went in I had gotten a different girl, and it was a much different experience. Her technique was below par and she had left areas unsprayed. After she finished spraying me I looked at my skin and noticed there was barely any change. She pointed out the "tan line" around my underwear to make me feel better. As I stood in the room and waited for my tan to dry, I noticed in the mirror that I looked almost exactly the same as before I came in, almost no change what so ever. When the girl returned to check on my tan, I asked her why I had gotten no color. She replied saying that she forgot to tell me beforehand, but that morning they received a "different formula" and instead of waiting 3 hours and showering like the normal Venetian, with this one I'd have to wait 10-12 hours for the tan to "gradually get darker" and then I could shower. I was very upset that I wasn't told this ahead of time. I had a set schedule and was depending on taking a shower in 3-4 hours, because I had a flight coming up. Needless to say, I had to sit on a 6 hour plane ride smelling like fake tan, and the worst part is, THE TAN NEVER GOT DARKER! When I called in to tell them what happened, I was told that the only thing they could do for me was have me come in so they could touch up the tan... that would have been great if I wasn't already on vacation for the week. Overall, very disappointed by that second experience. I still have more tans that I need to use, but I am a little nervous to go back in and be so disappointed again, especially after the amount of money I spent. read more
