Went there for the first time with my sister who recommended it. Got a pedicure and dip powder manicure. I'm obsessed with the dip! They did an amazing job and my nails look so good over a week later which never happens with gel. My nails haven't cracked or anything either. Highly recommend, very friendly staff and great service! Went an got a gel manicure and was very happy with it. I went back and asked the price and was told $25 for paying cash. They removed the gel and then told me that I needed a different type that was $13 dollars higher. I said no, I wanted the $25 dollar one I got before. They made no attempt to hide that they were talking and laughing at me. I should have walked out at that point. The manicure I got was crappy and nothing like the previous one. They can talk and laugh about me all they want, I'm going to Strawberry Nails across the street. WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. read more

I usually got to Pearl Nails but they couldn't do a basic mani/pedi that morning and I had an event that evening so I jumped on Yelp and found Hatboro Nails. Saw me right away and they offered a few mani/pedi combos deals. Amy did my service and loved it. As a mom of 3 w/ 2u2 away alone time is very small and more than anything I just want to relax and enjoy peace during a pedicure and she did just that! Didnt try to chat with me or anything which I truly appreciate! On top of the peace she did awesome pedicure and love my nails. I went with the gel mani/pedicure combo and really thrilled with the results. I don't have the prettiest feet and most times within a day the skin is back to slightly rough she did so well that even after a few days and showers they're still very smooth. Oh my. I've been meaning to write this review for a month or so. I think I was so traumatized that I needed some time to get over it. DO NOT GO HERE. I don't think I've ever been so adamant about it. The women seemed fine. The place seemed clean. The price was right. However, I came in towards the end of the day. I started with a woman, but because they were closing - she passed me over to the man who runs the register. Big mistake. I get shivers just thinking about it. When he was almost finished with my manicure, I looked down and he was missing half a nail on his thumb. Thumb nail fungus. Ew. I want to puke. Really. How can he be touching people's hands and working on them? Really? Disgusting. Luckily, I didn't get it. I came home and put alcohol/antibacterial over my entire hands and body. Seriously? I want to preface this with the fact that I REALLY wanted to like it there since Diana took over. I have been going here since they opened years ago. I absolutely loved it there. No matter who I got, the work was great, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. I went every other week for a pedi, got gel manis all the time, and even pink and whites. I stopped maybe two years back, when the staff was constantly changing and they seemed to hire just any ol' person with little nail knowledge. The work definitely suffered. I now hear that one of the nail techs that had been there for some time had bought the place. I thought, "okay, let me give this ONE more try". My mom and I went in for pedis, optimistic, and was greeted by a friendly staff. So far so good. We were taken back to our pedi chairs, where I put my feet into cool-to-cold water. It was hot out, and I didn't want to nitpick, so I didn't say anything. I had two nail polishes in my hand, and planned on picking one by the time she was ready to polish. I always do it like that, I'm indecisive! She asked me what color I wanted and I told her I didn't know yet, I was still deciding. She stared at me waiting for an answer. I said "do you need to know right this second?" politely, and she just continued to stare until I handed her one. Very awkward. She then took of my polish, and started doing my cuticles. This was first time anyone went in with the nippers nose-down, gouging at my nails as she worked. I tried to be patient. Next, I got the foot scrub, which was barely any at all. She would gently wipe it on my foot, taking breaks to gingerly scrub my heel with the force of a newborn baby. Then she would go back to gently wiping the scrub on my foot and ankle (not leg, like normal) and then return to softly touching my heel with the buffer, never straying from the same single spot. I looked around and saw everyone else getting vigorous scrubs with foot files, and thought for sure this was the next step for me. This HAD to just be the first step, right? She never touched ANY other part of my foot with the buffer. As she then rinsed my feet, I thought for sure she was going to file. Nope! She reached for the massage cream, and gave my poor callused feet a wimpy lotion-wipe-in-the-same-spot until it actually became tender and almost painful. Again, barely touching my feet. At this point, I am so over this pedi and just wanted to get the hell out of there. I am sitting in the chair., at this point, yelping other nail salons, when I came across all these poor reviews. Why the hell didn't I read them first? Sheesh. Now extremely agitated, I begin to look around and notice messes, and unprofessional employees lounging around in the pedi chairs and blatantly gossiping. At one point, my girl and the girl next to her were so obviously talking about me and laughing, they even POINTED to me. To top it off, my nail tech and the girl on the OTHER side of her, the woman doing my mom's pedi, were chatting casually the whole time. Eye contact, and all. Chatting it up as if they were talking about their weekends or who knows what. Literally the WHOLE time. Not even paying attention. My polish job was decent, but by then I already wanted to scream. As I sat at the nail dryer there was an old crusty cup in my face with lipstick all over it that looked like it had been there all day. Gross. Everyone was so busy being lazy and getting their own nails done that no one cared. I high-tailed it out of there and went home to scrub my own damn feet, $20 broke-er. I realize this is a super long story, but every single detail is what made that experience what it was! I am a small business owner, and I really hope for Diana's sake she gets it together. Customer service is everything! That place could be SO busy. I'm sure I don't need to mention that it was super slow in there, and it was a Saturday afternoon. I hope she turns it around, but I will definitely be going elsewhere. read more

I Was driving around today to see what was open and they were!! 1st time here and I was super impressed. I failed to ask for names but the guy that did my feet was awesome and the female who did my hands was just as great. They were very friendly, spoke English, weren't afraid to hold a conversation, it was just all around a good experience. The price was right and the job was well done. I started going here in 2016 after trying a few nail salons on York Rd. No appointment necessary and I'm helped as soon as I walk in. I have good nails so I just get the basic $10 manicure, which last me 2 weeks. I get my brows waxed there too and they do an excellent job. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - ZERO STARS IF IT WERE A CHOICE This salon is under new management and, unfortunately, it is definitely NOT a change for the better. Today I went in on lunch and my manicure looks terrible. The polish on every nail is bubbled and sloppy. I called to tell the manager that I wanted to come back for a refund and she refused. I explained that I had come on lunch and would not be nail to sit for another re-polish, and still she refused. Further when I insisted that I was disappointed and could not get my nails re-polished and wanted a refund, she hung up on me. I do not recommend. I drove by this place and decided to stop in. I got a regular mani pedi yesterday. The woman who did my pedi did a nice job, I will say. My toes look good, the massage and scrub was good. However the minute the woman doing my nails started I already knew I would be disappointed. She rushed through the whole thing and at one point I had to inform her that she only polished half of my one nail....so she went back and covered the other half. When I left I could see the polish was very uneven on all my nails. It's now been less than 24 hours and the polish on two of my nails is on the verge of cracking off...by the end of the day it'll be cracked off and I'll end up taking it off the rest of my nails and redoing them myself for free and they'll look a hell of a lot better! So basically this manicure didn't even lads 24 hours. I won't be going back here again... read more

I have been going here for years. The staff is really friendly, they have a lot of space and chairs, and it is so CLEAN. They offer multiple nail packages, waxing and tanning. They recently added 2 children's chairs which is cute. I believe they came under new management recently but it's still great as far as I can tell. I always get a gel mani and spa pedi. The only dislike I have is that you cannot put your tip on a credit card. You can pay with a credit card, but you have to tip in cash. read more

I love this salon!! My mom and I have been going here for years. Even though the owner changed it just got better. Jin is great and gives a great massage with your pedicure. They always have plenty of people working and I never have to wait. My schedule is always changing so I usually walk in or call ahead and can get right in. Would give zero stars if I could. Prices are way to high for basic nails. Got a manicure and pedicure and it was $50. They charge $3 to take off gel. They charged me $5 extra to put a coat of white polish under my gel to make it brighter. They basically charge for everything. They have a $36 special for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I paid $50 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure which equates to $14 for gel polish on my toes. The owner commented that a regular manicure and pedicure is $28 I was charged $50 for a regular manicure and pedicure with gel which means they charged $22 extra for gel polish. She offered to take $4 off when I complained. No thanks. I will take my business else where. Very greedy. Can get nails done better somewhere else for half the price. Save your time and money. Not worth it. Nail salons are a dime a dozen. Prices are ridiculous. read more

I've been coming here for years but after the new ownership they've gone downhill. Yes great prices and a good job but my last visit was horrible. I took my two friends with me we l got gel manis. Everything was fine until my manicurist said "one minute" to me. And then proceeds to put gels on another woman's nails and wax two woman's eyebrows. After 15 min I was passed onto someone else. By then my friends were finishing up. As my one friend took her nails out of the UV she noticed it was all messed up. After some talks in another language they finally figured out that they never put a TOP COAT on her gels so they were completely ruined. An attempt to salvage them just made them worse. At this time other customers around me were complaining they had been there for hours with appointments and getting bounced around or passed off to someone else. Honestly this is long but they have no time management skills or manners. I don't care if you speak another language there's no need to talk about people who are paying you right in front of your face. read more

I had been going to Hatboro Nails and Tanning for the past few years (pretty much since it opened), and Jason was a great owner- the place was always busy but efficiently run, waits were never too long, and the prices were good. I typically get my nails done about once every 10 days. However, as of 1/1/13, there are new owners; though prices have not changed, the quality of service has declined dramatically. I have sat in a pedi-chair just soaking my feet for over 30 minutes until the water was cool. I have also sat at a station getting gel nail polish soaked off for over 30 minutes as well, with nobody ever checking on my nails- I basically began scraping the polish off myself before someone noticed. The straw that broke the camel's back was last week. I was sat right away for a gel manicure, and shortly later a woman was sat next to me at an empty station. As I got up to was my hands, my manicurist turned to the other customer and began to work on her nails. When I came back to my seat I was informed that since this other customer only wanted a polish change, they were going to take care of her first. I sat for 20 minutes while the other customer was serviced. When my manicurist finally turned back to me and saw the look on my face, she said "she had an appointment". I understand appointments take precedence over walk-ins, but I feel this should have been mentioned before I sat down and offered the option to wait on the couch, leave, or agree to get my manicure done as much as possible until the appointment showed up. When I spoke with the manager, I explained this to her (what if I was on a schedule and had to pick my kids up from daycare, had a doctor's appointment, etc). I also thought it was a little sneaky that they waited until I had walked away to start on the other customer. The manager replied that she told the manicurist to do this, as "it was only a polish change"- it still took almost a half hour. Needless to say, I am sick of being ignored at this place, and I will patronize other salons in the area, despite higher prices. Long story short- prices are good, but be prepared to wait and be ignored by the staff after they seat you at a station to make it look like they are getting to you soon. read more
