I'm visiting from Az and came here for a tan before heading back home. I called the day before and the girl told me it was too busy to come that day so I went the next day after making an APPOINTMENT! The girl the next day ( not the same girl ) told me SHE HAD SOMEONE IN 15 minutes with an appointment! I was like ??????? Okay??????? Anyway. She took her slow ass time typing in every little thing asking for my drivers license while looking outside ( telling me if the other lady comes she will go before me ) I'm like?? Girl if you hurry the hell up it will take me 5 minutes, ANYWAY the girl on the phone said the tan cost 35 dollars.. the website said 27... I paid 45. the tan I got was a purple undertone tan... it was the medium color because the woman at the counter would not let me get any darker of a color. The color is pretty so the only complaint I have is that I wish it were darker because this shit washes off ... I repeat this shit washes off... And I get the darker color at my regular place. Anyway she looked me up and down and was like ... I get the lightest one because I'm light ... ( insinuating I should get the lightest one) at my Tan place everyone just gets the dark one because in a few days it will be light anyway. But whatever. The thing that bothered me the most is how she totally treated me like trash and then without looking up from her computer she pointed at the bowl of shoes and said " you get a free pair of flip flops, those are all we have left so I hope it's your size " there were two pairs of shoes both the size 8, I'm a size 6. She didn't even care to accommodate... she really didn't even leave room for me to ask if there were any other free shoes in my size ( this place has a bunch of other shoes and shirts etc) I didn't ask because she was acting like a snobby brat from moment 1. No use. The one good thing is she went back with me and explained the steps nicely and quickly and showed me the poster that tells you the steps if I forgot. Anyway. I didn't appreciate not being prioritized and I'm still wondering if I paid an extra 10 dollars for " free shoes " that wouldn't fit me. read more

About 2 years ago I purchased a Groupon for 3 spray tans for this location. I was very excited because I was going to Mexico with my boyfriend and also had a few upcoming weddings I was attending so I thought this was a great deal. I went and got my first spray tan and had no problem. Same for the second. When I went to get my third spray tan, the receptionist told me that I did not have any left because the Groupon had expired. Apparently I had 90 days from the date of "activation" to use up my spray tans. She told me I could purchase the tan if I wanted to, but why would I when I had my coupon? I was very upset. I felt as though when I went in the first time I should have been told about how this Groupon works. I had never heard of such a thing. Recently, I purchased the same Groupon again. It was a good deal, so why not pass it up? This time since I knew about the "limitations" from the first time I had the deal I had made sure to make all of my appointments within that 90 day window. I'm glad my first experience did not turn me away because I really like IST. They are the only tanning salon in my area that I know has the spray tan booth, as I am a big fan of them rather than having someone actually do the spraying. read more

Visiting from Miami for a couple weeks, needing sun and red light therapy. Checked out this place after calling and having a super friendly rep answer. When I got there, I was warmly greeted and helped by Bridget. She was friendly, not pushy at all and very accommodating. Great prices I wish we had in Miami! Today, Wednesday the 25th I came to your location 1934 County Line Rd, Huntingdon Valley; PA 19006. I paid for a spray tan session on Tuesday 04/24/18 and made an appointment for today at 7pm. I called the store at 6:30pm and asked if I can have the appointment a little later. At that point the representative told me that she sees I paid for a session, the representative from yesterday made the appointment for next Wednesday 05/02/18. The representative refused to give me her name when I asked. She kept saying that it is nothing she can do to help me and there are no appointments available today. I was sitting in the store 6:50pm. The representative only called the magager when I said I will take a picture of her since she did not wanted to give me her name to include it in this email. The representative did not know how to accommodate us even though there were customers when we arrived 6:50pm until we left 7:15pm. I explained to the representative that it takes 5 Min to spray tan and instead of arguing with the customer she could just let my daughter tan since we had an appointment and the session was paid for. Very unprofessional and unpleasant attitude while deal with customers who paid and made an appointment. read more

I went to this salon about 3 years ago, and got badly burnt. Sadly, I was diagnosed with skin cancer in the spot where I was burnt. Thank God, my dermatologist found the melanoma. It was the same spot where had been burnt in the tanning bed. Between the lotion and the tanning bed, I will never go in a tanning bed again! read more

This is a really nice salon. The place is clean, and the girls that work there are very nice. I've been impressed with their spray tan machine. Overall I've felt is comparable to having a technician do the spray for you. On Sundays the salon does a discount on spray tans. read more
