I spoke with Cheryl in their office, begging her to send a nurse to look at it even though I saw one just two days ago. I have a hx of cellulitis in that leg, even from small wounds like that and I am a diabetic. She refused, saying "it's not a thing." Cheryl kept talking over me and refused to shut up so I hung up on her. I even swore at her, which I wish I didn't do but I am scared about what could happen to me. My next scheduled nursing visit is in 5 days. A lot can happen in 5 days. As a medical professional she should know this! The front of the folder they gave me says "Call us first. We may be able to help you avoid unplanned hospitalizations if we know you need our help." That's a big fat lie. I wouldn't recommend Centerwell Home Health to my worst enemy, even my ex-husband.

They finally sent me someone and said she has to be there three hours. Well after 25 minutes, she said to me I'm all done and started to leave. I had to ask her to please dust please clean my bathroom, etc. she left about seven minutes later, she never touched the tub, sink or toilet. She did my floors but not well. I talked to home instead about it and Shawna told me that she was sorry and would have somebody else for me today that was one of the best, she said she would not send the same person back, but what do you know, the same person came back with an attitude-she was not there for five minutes and said she was leaving and walked Out. When I called home instead, Debbie told me I was rude and Shawna told me that the cleaning person was giving a different story and she was Kurt with me. Well, do you think they're gonna tell the truth? I've been yelled at called names and was promised a call back two hours ago that I never got from someone else. These are senior citizens, many with disabilities. The name of the businesses is home instead, because they say they offer home care so people can stay home. This is exactly what I was looking for. When I did go to be fitted for a new mask, I was told they didn't have a machine available to connect with so I could determine the sound level of a new mask. Instead they scheduled me for a second visit. That evening I got an email listing a restocking order for all my supplies! I was told, as I canceled there order, that it was placed by the technician that I had visited the previous day! I will never go back to a vendor who doesn't appreciate their customer, but instead tries to take advantage.

Now that they merged with Home Aides of CNY, guess who gets the blame? Yet the VNA is right there for any compliments. People in offices need to listen more to clients and nurse's aides. At least management should take phone calls. I do NOT recommend VNA to anyone. They have changed for the worse over the past year and a half, all help that was any good has been driven off and I miss them terribly, but understand how it must have been to work there, knowing how I, as a client, get treated!
