This was our first visit as a family of four (two adults and two children), and we were genuinely excited to make Touchstar our new family theater. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from beginning to end. First, your website advertised that on Wednesdays you could "bring a bucket" and receive up to 84 oz. of free popcorn. We brought our popcorn buckets based on that advertisement, only to be handed a small bag of popcorn that was nowhere near what was advertised. We ended up taking our buckets back out to the car because they served no purpose. Next, after getting settled into our seats, a theater attendant came through handing out menus. Two members of our family have severe food allergies and gluten intolerance, so we routinely bring allergy-safe snacks with us everywhere, including restaurants. When the attendant told us outside food wasn't allowed, I explained our medical dietary restrictions and asked whether there was a gluten-free menu or a certified gluten-free kitchen. His response was simply that he didn't know. He then informed us that we were not allowed to order using the QR code at our seats and that we had to order through him only. When it came time to pay, he handed me the credit card terminal with a 20% tip already selected. I was never given the opportunity to choose my own tip amount. I felt extremely uncomfortable that a gratuity was effectively chosen for me without my consent. The interaction itself also left a lot to be desired. The attendant was abrupt, rushed us through ordering, and spoke so sternly that it actually frightened my 11-year-old daughter. We left the interaction feeling more like an inconvenience than valued customers. Unfortunately, the food was even more disappointing. I ordered the chicken tacos, which were advertised as including chicken, cilantro, onion, cheese, salsa, and a lime wedge. Instead, I received tacos with very little chicken and missing almost every advertised topping. There was no cilantro, no salsa, no lime wedge, and I didn't receive the sour cream I requested. (I'll attach a photo.) When I asked whether I had accidentally been given someone else's order, I was told they were simply out of cilantro, salsa, and limes. Rather than offering an alternative or notifying me before serving the meal, I was brought back the exact same plate with only a side of sour cream. For $13.99, the portion of chicken was also extremely small. I honestly felt misled by what was advertised versus what was served. To make matters worse, the attendant walked through the entire theater telling every customer they could not go to the front counter to order food and that all orders had to go through him because he was getting off shift and no one else would be available to take orders. That seemed like an operational issue that shouldn't have been passed on to customers. Overall, this experience was disappointing enough that we're questioning whether we'll return. I would appreciate being contacted by a member of management to discuss what happened, especially the misleading popcorn promotion, the forced ordering process, the automatically selected 20% tip, and the poor quality and inaccurate food order. We truly wanted this to become our family's regular theater, but our first experience fell far short of expectations. read more

The looks on the inside and experience are much different than you expect based on the outside. I went to a 10am showing of Wicked & the ticket was only $5 a piece. I purchased the tickets in advance online and was able to choose seats. We scanned our tickets at the front desk. The staff member there explained the process of ordering from our seats and was so helpful. The snack counter had lots of options. The theater was clean, and I appreciated the little pillows, too, on all the seats. The seats seemed brand new with no rips or tears. The staff came around and took our order. The prices were very reasonable. We purchased the #3 combo with a drink, large popcorn, and candy. The food and drinks came out quickly. There are even cocktails available, too. If you want to order throughout the movie, you just scan the QR code provided at your seat. The movie experience was fantastic. I look forward to visiting again! read more

We absolutely love this place! Ever since we discovered it, we try to watch every movie we can here. Sadly, there are only six cinema halls, so sometimes we have to switch theaters. It's a little old, but it's very well maintained. The staff is great -- super friendly and helpful. You can order food and drinks (which are pretty good!) and they'll bring them right to your seat. The only miss is the BLT sandwich -- skip that one! If you're thinking about going, do it! You won't regret it, and you'll find yourself waiting for your next movie to be released just so you can come back here. Oh, and take a blanket -- it can get a little chilly! read more

While the seats are comfortable, tickets are decently priced, the food is way overpriced for elementary style cafeteria food. We asked for two ice waters and were told they would be $6.50 each!! This is crazy! Not even a bottle of water, this was to be tap water. She told us it's a charge for the cup. Ridiculous!! As we left we found bathroom sized cups next to a container of water that waitress didn't bother to tell us about. We may be back for the movie but will not be going to a meal. I really liked this place, the seats recline and there is a little table attached to it to put your food on. The staff take your food order if you want something from their menu. The theater is fairly clean and the isles are very spacious so it's easy to walk through to get a refill on your drink or go to the bathroom. Popcorn is included with every movie ticket. I feel that the picture quality could be better but it'll do. Cool spot. read more

Went to see the movie "wish" with my friend we Walked in and the place was very smokey:( small clutch bags were checked? What the hell am I going to fit in there he was RUDE, tickets were 12 dollars you are then immediately handed salty popcorn and expected to wait 15 minutes to get a SLUSHIE idk who the business owner is; he needs to get his act together! We have been wanting to try out this theater since they remodeled it. Went on a Tuesday since it was $5. Have to say the seats were great but be careful what row you pick. We picked row C which was the first reclining row and it was way too close. They were nice enough to let us switch our seats. Row E was perfect. My husband and I went to this theater with two friends who live in PSL. It is a nice half- way point to meet. Service was good, the atmosphere was relaxed and upscale ( which we like) and the refreshments were very good. Seating was excellent and we enjoyed the movie ( the Swamp girl) too, Popcorn and sodas are what you should order at a movies, once you start asking for more than that you are bound to be disappointed. read more

We were really excited to go to the movies after a long time so this place looked pretty cool. Loved the idea of the premium seats with popcorn and the in theater service they provided. When we got there for our 8pm showing of the new spider man movie, the lobby was filled with smoke from the popcorn machine (very little and poor ventilation) In the theatre was very hot, when ask if the air would cool down, the employee told us that the air was controlled by the owners and they were very cheap and kept the ac either off or very high. It was a pack room and the temperature made it very uncomfortable. Towards the end of the movie I got up to get a drink, I slipped and fell at the end of the aisle where someone spilled popcorn. I went out to look for someone to help me or clean it up and no one was found. At the end of the movie I looked to speak with an manager and no employees where found. Teenagers where coming in and out and sneaking into movies. I will never be going back. They have the potential of being a nice place but needs better management! read more

The luxury seating is comfy & great. The management is poor. As is the dining service , greasy fried foods. Viewing endgame on 4/26/19 my food took over 1 hour & 30mins. I had to leave the movie to ask for an update. The staff had no clue. When asking The manager was rude, he was clearly unable to manage the theatre or the staff. And when presented the situation of an hour and 30 min wait for deep fried food he said "we've sold 400 seats what do you expect". He was hostile and if it was a different movie than endgame i would have given him a piece of my mind. I wish i got his name to call him out. But hefty middle aged man who's balding - you suck. Came here to see The Rise of Skywalker on a date day. We'd heard about this theater, and its additional perks, and thought this would be a great place to be extra comfy for a longer movie. Ticketing and admission were flawlessly easy: buy your tix online ahead of time and then beep your phone screen upon entry. Your ticket price includes a bag of popcorn, which, honestly is a deal in itself. There is a full liquor bar and beer and wine, plus a food menu featuring the sorts of items that you might expect at a movie theater, or a bowling alley, but which were rather surprisingly good. I had a salad in mind when I was thinking about lunch. There are no salads on this menu. Think burgers, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches. I realized pretty quickly how tough it would be to eat a salad and watch the screen at the same time, and of course, you're there to see the movie, really. Seats are large, recline at the push of a button, and are equipped with a decent sized table which both folds away when you're ready, and has a well for your cup. We each had a draught beer and a cheeseburger. The server took our order as the trailers began and our drinks and food arrived seconds before the feature film started. Very nice. This is a unique concept in this area, and we will definitely return for another experience. read more

Everyone was very friendly and helpful.The reclining seats are just amazing I was comfortable throughout the entire movie and I have previously had 2 spine surgeries so this is saying alot. The popcorn is included in your ticket price and is pretty good,butter is available in the lobby if you need it.They had complimentary water with slices of lemon. There is also complimentary mouthwash in the restrooms.I had a Corona and it came with a slice of lime how nice.They have a full bar and lots of beer choices and wine too.I have only been going to movies for years to see blockbusters but I will probably go a lot more now that I have found this very affordable awesome option to see films. read more

My husband and I went on Nov 17th for the opening of Wonder. We were so excited to try our new luxury theater in Ft Pierce. We reserved tickets online and took our confirmation to the ticket counter. Went to the theatre and were impressed by the reclining seats. Then it went down from there. They brought us our popcorn and then came back to take our order. We ordered a cheese pizza and two cups of water. An hour into the movie they asked if we got our pizza and water and we said no. They then had a cook come from the kitchen to apologize (right in the middle of the movie...so we missed a few moments of movie as they're talking to us) that they were really busy and they would make one for us. Twenty minutes later they bring our pizza and 2 cups of water. (interrupting the movie again) It was dark but the pizza looked a bit darker than should....so we turned our phone flashlight on and the pizza was dark brown, almost black! Then a few minutes later the waitress came back and asked if we got our pizza and we said yes but it's burned. She said, "doesn't look that burned to me." We asked her to give us a refund. They bring us a bill for our water and it was $10 for two cups of water. They said yeah...the cups are inventoried and they're $5 for a cup. Told them it would be nice if they told us...we would have gotten the soda! We complained about the service and the water and how we missed part of the movie as they kept coming in. The manager gave us two gift cards. Today we tried to use the gift cards and they have no funds on them! I cannot recommend our new theatre. So disappointed as we were excited about a theater in Ft Pierce. If you go, enjoy the movie and popcorn! Don't order any food and you will have a fine experience! Except the people sitting next to us didn't get their popcorn brought out and had to ask for it as they were leaving the theatre. read more

So excited this luxury theatre has come to Fort Pierce. Awesome seating, awesome sound system, awesome projection system in theatre 5. The reclining seats are very comfortable. Very helpful, friendly staff. We were happy to pay for premium seating which comes with a free popcorn. Coffee was so so, but then movies are not coffee shops. We only got coffee because the movie was 2 3/4 hours. Please tip the wait staff as you would in any restaurant or cafe. Suggestion to the owners, show your welcome video before or during previews so first timers know what to do. It was shown just before movie started which would not give newcomers time to get up and order food, snacks or drinks. We will be coming back! read more

Great theater, really comfortable seating. However, the worst service ever. I bought the "premium " seats that included popcorn. I was told that the server would bring it to us and take our drink order. When no one showed up (there were only 4 of us in the movie), I went out to get it. There were 2 servers sitting in the lobby--neither of them even stood up--they just told me to get my own popcorn out of cabinet and pointed to the butter machine. Very small theatre, so for popular movies, I would suggest pre-buying online. read more

As far as movie theaters go, this place needs new management. The theater is awesome, the concept brilliant but the execution horrible!!! The price for the movie with the recliner seats appropriate, however that's where the complements end. They post there procedures on the opening credits and don't follow what they post. Our waitress brought us menus and it was so dark you could not read them, and then disappeared, when she returned, my wife asked what size the popcorn comes in and she replied "a bag", so we ordered a bag and a soda. She returned with the popcorn but no soda, approximately 15 minutes later she returned with our soda and the bill, once again no light to read the bill and the movie had started. As we consumed our bag of popcorn, my wife exited the movie to get it refilled, there were numerous wait staff in the hallway, but no one even acknowledged that she was there. Finally a manager asked what she needed and told a wait staff to give her another bag of popcorn. Further when the waitress returned with our card she brought the receipt but no pen, so we are curious what kind of tip she is to give herself, and of course we will be speaking to the manager when that happens. After the movie was over, we watched an elderly couple, husband in a motorized wheel chair and the wife with a walker. There were numerous staff in the hall, not one made any attempt to help this couple with the doors, so we did and made the comment that they there were all standing around saw what was going on and did not help, loud enough to be heard by all. read more

We went with sister and friends to our new local movie house. It was a very enjoyable time for us all. They have managed to touch on everything that I would put in my theatre, if I owned one. The seating was so comfortable. You lounge back and a waitress takes your food and drink order. Then she delivers before movie starts. I didn't want to leave. The food was good. Prices were average. maybe a special price day would be great. The restrooms were very clean. It blew me away to have a compliment cup of mouthwash. The staff was so friendly. went to see a movie where I purchased tickets online this evening. I walked in with a sandwich I made because I have a heart condition and need a special diet and because of other health issues I could not sit for 3 hours without eating. The manager refused to seat me saying it was their policy that I can't bring food in, even on a special diet. He told me he did not care that I was on a special diet, no way can you come in here! That is like telling someone in a wheelchair we can not make exception for you. I don't care if you are disabled, you can't roll in here. What is next, you are Jewish, you can't bring in kosher food? No hearing aids? No canes if you limp because it can be used as a weapon? I asked for my money back and he told me no refunds. The manager called the police because I argued that I wanted a refund which he refused to give me; company policy! No refunds! Now he is trying to charge me for a service I did not receive. When he finally gave me my money back in front of the police he refused to give me the $2.00 fee for buying the ticket online. They also force you to buy popcorn with crap unhealthy oil instead of butter when you buy a ticket online for $4.00. The manager clearly should not be running a business and I will do my best to see that he is fired for his discriminatory attitude. I was also asked to never come back on the property and started screaming at the police when he in fact called them to resolve the situation. Nice. Bottom line for anyone who reads this, This practice is clearly discriminatory! I fully intend to sue this company for discrimination! Don't go here, if you respect human rights. These people are miserable people. There are much better places to see movies where you are treated with respect as a customer should be for spending money in their place of business and where I haven't been refused entry with special food. read more

For a luxury theater I would expect more. I went 1/20/17 to see commuter. I paid 11.75 for the ticket and 18.11 for a burger, fries and a drink + tip went home and I had caramel candy all over my pants I had to scrap it off and wash my pants twice to get it out. I called the theater spoke to the manager Glenn he apologized said his staff was trained and he would address it by retraining them; I emailed him a photo of my pants. This was like my 6th time going to the Touchstar since they opened, and Like I told Glenn i do not mind paying high prices but I would expect not to have my clothes soiled because the staff is not properly cleaning the "luxury" cinema. I was not even offered a free movie ticket for my inconvenience NOTHING. My suggestion is save your money go to a nice restaurant have a nice meal and either go to another movie theater or rent a red box movie read more
