Don't go here with a real ID!! I was just trying to get a drink and they claimed that my REAL ID was fake. She told me to bring my birth certificate to get it back. So, I went home and grabbed it. I came back, handed it to her, and she told me that it was fake as well and I could have bought a fake birth certificate online. At this point I'm extremely mad because I have a trip planned next week where I need my ID. She kept refusing to give it back (even though I did what she asked and got my birth certificate) and said that I needed " more proof." What more proof do I need? I called the cops and the cops got me my ID back. As I'm leaving, the bartender who took my "fake" away was talking bad about me. She was being extremely rude, even though she was in the wrong. Extremely disappointed in the way everything was handled when it all could have been solved with her handing my ID back. read more

The system glitched multiple times. Then, they had "Two and a Half Men" playing with multiple bedroom scenes. I'd have gone up to complain, but we'd already gone up 3 times for system glitches, and it STILL shut off before one of our bowlers went at the end. (We paid per game.) This place is a joke! Brought my wife and son who was only 5 at the time, they gave us the far lane next to the wall we were the only people on our side. My son rolled his ball and it stopped half way down the lane. I told my wife to go push it down the lane and she did. There was nobody on our side bowling. The old man must of been the owner at the time stormed towards us and chewed my wife out like she was a little kid. I promptly walked up and ask for a refund and old man said all he did was tell her not to do that, I said I think its was more than that. His daughter or daughter in law came up and offered us free tickets so we went outside and waited. His son came out and glared at us, stood there and pied us out for like 5 minutes so we just drove off never going back ever! read more

I had a fun time bowling here, but there were plenty of reasons why it wasn't excellent. Starting with just getting a lane. It was a busy night, but there were multiple lanes open. For an unknown reason they weren't filling some of them, and we had to wait about 30 minutes just to get a lane. Also, sidenote, this place is not cheap. I cannot recall the exact price per lane, but the lane and the shoes together were definitely more than I am used to paying. Do not even get me started on the bowling ball selection. Now maybe it was because it was busy, but it took me a good 15 minutes to find a ball that my hand could fit into, even though it was not a good fit at all. By the end of the night my finger was swelling from the tight hole. There were huge bowling balls, and then really small. Not any normal size. Unfortunately this made the bowling not as fun or enjoyable. The atmosphere was okay. I didn't eat the food. The music section was so-so, and the employees weren't all too helpful or friendly. You can make bowling here fun, but it definitely is not the best bowling out there. read more

The one skinny ugly female bartender is so rude from the second we walked in. Not even a hello or a how are y'all, been in there before and served by her and she is always rude. I asked a simple basic question about margaritas and she made fun of me then proceeded to talk shit about me to two other customers there right next to us. We had a birthday party here. We were put on lane one. The ball stuck and did not return 6 times or were very delayed. Pin sweep got stuck twice. Hit call button every time, they started ignoring us, then said the call button was not working. Then because of all the delays, our time ran out to bowl, and they turned lane off in the 8th frame. Went up to desk again, and they said our time was up, and they had already given us an extra 10 minutes. We never finished the game. They did end up giving us the lane for free but everyone at the party was frustrated with all the interruptions and delay of malfunctions and lack of customer service. Be prepared to be given one hour no matter how many times the ball sticks, etc. read more

I remembered going here on the weekends during college with Thunder Alley going on. It was a fun atmosphere with glow lights, black lights, fun music, and good company. My wife and I were in town so I wanted to bring her here for some good old nostalgia. It wasn't meant to be, though. The guy running the counter wasn't friendly--kind of an asshole--gave one word answers, and seemed annoyed when we asked the prices. Prices aren't listed by the way. We came when Thunder Alley should be going and there was no music, glow lights, or anything. I asked why and he was like, "No one showed up." Which is a pretty pathetic reasoning. It's advertised for those times. He acted annoyed at our group and would turn on Thunder Alley. We ended up getting overcharged because he wasn't listening to what we wanted. When we pointed it out, he just shrugged his shoulders. Overall, really crappy experience. It's a shame Pine Bowl closed. These guys at Tough Guy lanes look to be mailing it in now that they have no competition. What a waste. Won't ever be coming back here. read more

They had the summer kids bowl for free program. My kids learned a lot and joined the JR. bowling league. They had a blast and everyone was helpful. Our whole family bowls now and we have bought five bowling balls from the pro shop. Everyone of the balls were set up great it was nice dealing with people not the internet. read more

Best place for bowling with kids. Best onsite food at a bowling alley in Pocatello. The other place is too much of a dive. Bar onsite, all non-smoking. Okay to let the kids run around. Sunday morning bowling in the winter is perfect. read more
