My friends rented this bike for a birthday party, and we had a great time bike-hopping through Old Scottsdale. The best things about this bike are: -It's a unique experience and the process was exciting throughout -The reaction you get from people on the street (lots of cheering and encouraging) -Working together and getting to travel together as a group to the bars -The sound system (ipod hookup) was great -The lights on the bike add to the allure of it (we did a nighttime ride, and even that was really hot in Phoenix in April) -They have some good coupon deals with the bars you stop at (free shots, coupons for a dollar off drinks, and different drink specials to name a few) A couple things to be aware of with the bike: -They have helmets available for wearing, but most people waive it (you're only going 8 mph and unless you're really drunk you shouldn't need it) -You can't drink on the bike bar, because of open container laws. It's a bummer but doesn't take away from the experience. -To make the most of your time, the goal is 3-4 bars in the 3 hour window. Which means you are always on the move, and are always chugging the last few sips of your drink to get going. Shots might be a more efficient way to go. :) -Because you are traveling with your own group of 16, every where you go is going to have a line, made up of your own people! So there is definitely a lot of downtime between drinks. -Someone in your group needs to keep track of the time and keep everyone moving. I recommend a cowbell or something so you can round people up easily in the bar to head back to the bike. -Pedaling the bike can be a lot of work...more than a bike. There are 12 pedalers, plus you're pulling the extra 4 people in the back, and the driver, and the 3500 pound bike. Be ready to sweat! Also shoes with good grips are a good idea (although some girls managed with heels...but maybe that's why pedaling felt like a lot of work for the rest of us). -The Tour de Tavern owners are really friendly. Our driver/part-owner was Brendan and he was really fun and made sure we had a good time. He was a safe driver and handled the bike really well. I really recommend this bike for anyone that wants to get a group of people together and try a fun new experience!

Today I went on the bike for a bachelorette party and John was our captain! He did an amazing job and I would defiantly recommend to anyone considering! He even took into accountability of what bars we would enjoy! Such a good time!!

What a FUN time!!!! We had a blast celebrating my husband's birthday with our group of friends and Tour de Tavern. Our driver Stan was the absolute BEST! He definitely made the experience. We stopped at 3 different super cool and fun bars along the way, jammed out to some awesome tunes and laughed the entire time! Thank you Tour de Tavern for making this an experience no one would forget!

The only bad thing I can say about our experience with Tour de Tavern is that it's over! We had an incredible time pedaling around Scottsdale with Capt John and our new friends. Our group had no idea what to expect but this turned out to be a bar crawl on crack (the good kind of crack)! We visited some divey bars and nice patios... but my favorite was the Christmas bar adorned in what looked like a million lights! It was a nice finale to the tour (along with our impromptu dance party in the streets to Barbie Girl). I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Phoenix area!

I have never had more fun or a better experience than I had on this trip! My best friend was in town from Alabama and we ended up on this tour. Captain John, or ManBun as we referred to him all night, was a fantastic tour guide and host for one of the best events I've been to in my six years in the valley. Truly recommend this to tourists and locals alike and cannot say enough good things about Captain John :)

What a blast! So glad we tried this! We had a group of 4 but when we made reservations they put us with another 2 groups so we filled a bike. They were so much fun and everyone was laughing and joking in no time! The bike has a rear bench that seats 3 so even if someone is unable to pedal they can still go (or you can take breaks from pedaling.) I'm totally not in shape, and you don't have to be to do this. Everyone pedals and it's easy, but you will definitely get a bit of a workout. They start at the Brat House (great food there, BTW) and they stop at 3 bars (for about 20-30 mins. each) in downtown Scottsdale. I wouldn't recommend ordering food as time is pretty limited but its enough time to get a drink and a quick game of pool. As of now you cannot drink on the bike but after July 15 they said you will be able to take alcoholic drinks with you on the bike, (Soooooo we will be back after July 15 for sure!) Kind of a cool way to experience different bars in the area. We went from 4-6pm and the weather was PERFECT, but I could imagine later in the summer it would be really HOT! I probably wouldn't want to do this during the day in the summer, but evening, sure. I LOVED the looks from people as you pedaled by. Most would have a look like "what the....?" and others would honk and wave. Our driver (I forgot his name, tall, thin, 23.... ugh!) was great and we were jammin some great tunes. Only thing that would make this better would be to have a stripper pole in the middle of the bike. (He said that has been suggested numerous times haha!) If you don't have fun on this thing you are probably lame anyways!

This was my second time doing the Tour De Tavern and Don was our driver, he was very friendly and supplied us with cups and coolers filled with water and ice. He played the music we requested and made our experience very enjoyable! I would recommend this for big or small groups and you are sure to have a good time. Since Don didn't have another reservation after us he let us stay in for an extra half hour. We stopped at Patties, Boondocks, and Old Town Gringos.

I've taken this for two birthdays (the first was their first ride ever) and it is soooo much fun! Not only do you get a good work out (pedal pedal pedal) but they take you to some fun bars that give you good deals (aka Dos, giligins, lodge, etc). Plus, tourists love this- you'll be waving as much as your pedaling! Great for a birthday, a day of dAyDrinking, or whatever else kind of celebration! Picks up at Brat Haus which is also delicious! Five stars fo sho

A huge shoutout to our instructor, Alex, who did an awesome job teaching us the proper technique and made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for something different, fun, and memorable to do with friends or family, this is definitely the place to go. We'll absolutely be back!

Here is what I liked about it: There was no age requirement for Axe and Knife throwing so my 10yo god daughter was able to enjoy something new and different. A lot of places have age restrictions. It was not packed so we were not rushed out and even given a little extra time. They have a pool league. Since they have a very limited menu they allow you to bring in your own food, not alcohol. We got Dickys BBQ but also ordered the chicken tenders and fries here. Plenty of parking It's very neat and clean inside Haley was amazing If you come here and Order food place your order as soon as you get in they air fry everything for a healthier option so it takes a little longer. 45 min and Haley told us that ahead of time so we knew what to expect. But once we got everything it was cooked to perfection! We had chicken tenders, fries and churros. This is a hidden gem, been here almost 10 years, next to RTO Sullivan's and a few restaurants in the area. They are doing construction as some businesses next to them closed down. Hidden in the corner this is a great place for family hangout, dates, girls night out, or just to come practice pool. We will definitely be back!
