Between the fun atmosphere and Gloria, our master painter, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Being able to bring your own sips but also being able to purchase bites was such a nice addition. Gloria was a wonderful guide and really made us feel confident in the art we were creating. When she wasn't painting, she was a fun addition to the group, constantly chatting with us and volleying back and forth. We were all able to find parking right in front of the studio. It seems like they have lots of different events at once. Some peeps were doing pottery painting and others like us did the Painting with a Twist. They pre assign seats so make sure you come early if you want to sit next to your bestie or something haha. We had a group of 6 and we had such a good time! I can't paint at ALL! Just not my thing but luckily this was a BYOB spot so the drinks made me have such a good time. Our teacher Haley was also great to work with. She took her time and also gave us tips if we needed any help. Overall this was such a fun class! Would love to do this again.

As a complete novice, I was totally lost. I tried multiple times on my own but no luck. I asked for help multiple times and got general advice. I was the ONLY one that couldn't make anything, yet the instructor didn't seem to either notice or to care. I eventually looked up my own video on how to do this and still wasn't able to. The instructor said she would be happy to help one on one, yet I was the was one who clearly needed help, she was and just made her own pottery. I feel demoralized and humiliated. We planned ahead and brought our bottle of wine and had a wonderful time. We went on an open studio night, so I did the door mat project, and he did the string art project. If you are crafty or creative, the studio is so fun! There are so many supplies and fun things. Audra was our teacher and she was great! She was very friendly and welcoming but gave us space to get creative and do our own thing. Everybody at the class on the night we went was very nice and we got to chat with everyone. From looking at some of the other projects they had displayed and listening to them talk about what they have coming up, I'm guessing I'll be back soon for more fun projects!
