They prefer appointments, but will take walk-ins (be mindful that priority will always go to appointment clients) I wanted to do a walk in, but ended up setting a same day appointment, only 2 hours after I made the call, so it a doable wait time. I ate lunch and had a nap before coming in, so it was already leading up to a nice chill day. My stylist was an older lady, and she was very pleasant, quick nimble with the scissors and mostly styled my hair with just her hands (I have natural waves) and used very little product. And my hair turned out better than I expected. I basically got a wolf cut with soft layers. As we talked, I found out she's had a collective of over 30 years experience cutting hair both abroad and here In the states. I can really appreciate the service she gave along with her pleasant demeanor during the whole experience I had. My husband ended up going there to get his hair cut a few days later...and I was happy with what they did to his hair as well. Very clean and styled in a way that suits his face and head shape. Not just a cookie cutter hairstyle that looks the same on everyone. This one really flattered his specific look and personality. The only downside is parking on a busy day, the lot is small and right up near a busy street. So I understand why they encourage appointments, to keep the parking lot from being crowded. So it seems like they already put some consideration into setting up a good experience for their clientele. I look forward to visiting them again in the future for a color job I want to try. All I wanted this time around was a wash, cut and style and it was decently priced and professionally done in a relatively short amount of time. Always tip your stylist, especially if you can't stop smiling at what a great job they did. thanks for the amazing service!

Five stars hardly seem enough for Burcu at Tousle by Dupre's. My gratitude and respect for her go…read morefar beyond what I can capture in a review, but anyone considering sitting in her chair deserves to know what an extraordinary person and stylist she is. Our relationship began several years ago, during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. I had suffered a terrible injury that left me physically and emotionally scarred, and I honestly wondered whether I would ever look--or feel--like myself again. Reaching out to Burcu meant trusting someone with more than my hair. It meant letting someone see my fear, my hurt, and how much I needed to recognize myself in the mirror. Burcu met that vulnerability with kindness, patience, and remarkable talent. She helped me look like me again, while reminding me that I was already worthy and beautiful exactly as I was. She saw the whole person sitting in her chair and made me feel seen at a time when it was difficult to see myself with any kindness. What began as a client-stylist relationship grew into a friendship, with a beautiful, unspoken bond born from a painful chapter of my life. To this day, I feel grateful that she was the person I trusted with that moment. There is so much love in Burcu's spirit, and it comes through in the way she cares for people. I can wholeheartedly recommend her for her skill, artistry, and professionalism. But my deepest recommendation comes from something much more personal: I walked into her chair hoping to recognize my reflection again, and left feeling that the person behind that reflection still mattered. Years later, I remember how she made me feel just as clearly as how she made me look. That is a gift I will always be grateful for--and why Burcu deserves every one of these five stars and so many more~ Stacey May

Just beyond the check-in desk is a comfortable sitting area. You are offered your chance of a beverage, including wine. Depending on services being performed your stylist may ask you to change into a salon robe, which hang in the meticulously clean bathroom. Robes are available in different sizes and include both snap and tie closings. Dupre's has been my salon of choice since they opened decades ago. When the stylist I first used left with her military spouse for the west coast, she recommended Jaime who I love. She's receptive to my preferences regarding length style & coloring. When the grey in my hair stopped taking coloring we did a trial run with no coloring. I've kept it natural for years. She was receptive to my need for appointments during the pandemic when the salon was lightly booked. Once she booked an appointment on the Tousle side for my safety. We've tried several times of hair straightening treatments over the years, which began to not be effective because of the consistency of gray hair. I would love to still have my Farrah Fawcett hair of the 70's & 80's but it's no longer possible. Jaime has been an enormous help during the hair transition over time. I've had eyebrow waxing, but none of the other Spa services. My sister always books facials & massages when she visits from Alabama. The most popular stylists are booked heavily, especially before holidays. Jaime always finds a way to get my sister into her schedule when she's here for a cut & color. A cool feature is a hair washing & blow out done by stylists assistants. I utilized this feature several times a week when I had a dislocated elbow. My late husband didn't handle the chore very well. Counter personnel & the stylist assistants are always friendly & personable. Reminder calls & email are sent before appointments. Prices aren't low. But you get what you pay for. Dupre's is my Salon for life.
