The driver was told to get her car but then decided to do someone else first and then they refuse to send anyone worse claiming that this driver is the closet one. On a busy, stormy night in Nashville. We couldn't find a tow truck (called 15 - 20 companies). Tow Pro was very busy too. Dispatcher told us to call back. We waited about an hour called again. Dispatcher realized our pick up and drop off locations were between her driver's current location and next pickup, so she scheduled us. Driver showed up when promised, he had to be creative to pickup my truck because it broke down in a weird place, delivered my truck to the desired repair shop. If I could, I'd give them ZERO stars. They were unprofessional to say the LEAST. As a young woman, they left me stranded on the side of the road for over 2 and a half hours. I called to check on their status since they hadn't called and some lady (and I use the term "lady" loosely) named Amber said she put other callers in from of me and started shouting at me. She told me if I was in that big of a situation, I should have called 911 and then she proceeded to hang up in my face! Now why the heck would I waste a 911 call when someone else's life could literally be hanging in the balance?! If I could give a zero or a negative rating I would. Sad part it has nothing to do with the fact that my car was never picked up on 2/14/21. I understood the 8 hr wait. It was icy in Nashville and over 300 wrecks happened. The reason for the terrible review is what happened following that day and the lack of response from an owner or management. Geico scheduled this service to pick up my car that was wrecked at the Nashville airport. As I mentioned it was a long day for most tow companies and the wait was astronomical so Geico sent out another company. Long story short"ish" my car was still not at the repair shop on 2/26. I contacted Geico and they reached out to the tow company. They contacted the first company instead of the one that actually had my car. This is where everything went down hill. Tyler from Geico called me with Amber K. On the line. Amber was extremely rude from the word go. I was trying to explain that I had received a text message regarding my car. She thought the best customer service response was to speak over me and continuously interrupt. It got to the point that Tyler and I both questioned why she was being so rude. Well not my finest hour I got ticked off and said "b$&@ just do your job and find my car. Amber didn't like being spoken to with the same energy she put out so she hung up. Plot twist! She called me over 31 times from a blocked number. She called me a cunt, said my children were stupid and that I should not be allowed to have children. She spewed some stupidity about my mom. She also stated that she had my address and was coming to f me up. On that note I told her to come right on but she would leave in a bag because threatening my home wasn't the way to go. She called repeatedly. I called the office twice on that day and told them that Amber was calling me. First time I was told she got off at 3:30p so basically nothing they could do. Second time I was told the person who answered the phone didn't have her cell number. I could have helped her out there because I then started getting text from Amber. The company has yet to call me back. So my only recourse was to write this review and file a complaint with Geico. The day after the ice storm Amber posted this little gem on Facebook so I thought I would let all you Nashville and Memphis drivers know that you are getting in her nerves. read more

I would love for everyone to know that Tow Pro and Geico allowed for my 10 month old and I to be stranded for over 4HRS and would've been over 5 if we hadn't called someone else. We hit a pothole and sliced the side of my tire. Called Geico to get a tow service change my tired and they Picked this RAGGEDY ASS COMPANY. It's honestly sad that I told my mom what company they had sent and she already knew they were shitty. Anywho here's my experience. It had been 10 minutes past the time I was quoted. I called the number I was given for the tow service. Some older woman answered (I wish I would've gotten her name but just know she works night shift) and she told me it would be another 90 minute wait. I told her I didn't have 90 minutes to wait given that this was at midnight and night time is dangerous. She said "call Geico" and then proceeded to HANG UP ON ME. I called back and called her out for hanging up on me and she accused me of hanging up on her like.. bitch IM THE ONE WHO NEEDS THE SERVICE WHY TF WOULD I HANG UP. I found out this morning that TowPro had placed a lien on my vehicle that was towed there Jan. 16 after an accident. My insurance company also had TowPro tow my vehicle to an auto body shop. Found out from the county clerks office that TowPro never released the lien with the state even though my insurance company had paid for both tows. My experience with this company was horrible. My husband was stuck on the side of the road for hours until someone finally showed up to remove him for the area that he was at. He was supposed to be towed 60 miles from where he was stopped at but he was only towed for 5 miles and was left there. When I called to let them know that we were supposed to be towed 60 miles from where we were left the dispatch lady stated the driver was on his way to Atlanta and there were no more trucks to come and pick us up and to call in the morning to talk to the manager. After speaking to my husband's company, Tow pro charged my husband's company the total price of the 60 miles when we were only towed 5 miles. Let me also not forget that the driver put my husband and my life in danger. He told us to sit in my husband's truck while it was being towed the 5 miles. The driver also lied about several things that happen during the event of the tow. When I called the Tow Pro about the incident the lady put me hold first to get her boss and then when the manager which is a guy got on the phone he was so rude to me. He was so unprofessional and did not listen to anything. He had the audacity to call me a liar because I was explaining what happen. He told me that he worked with his driver for 10 plus years and that his driver had no reason to lie. Ok Tow Pro think about this if the receipt said that you towed someone 60 miles when you only towed them 5 miles. You said that you did 450 dollars worth of work on the truck but you did show that on the invoice. WHO LIED? WHO IS THE LIAR? Then the manager told me that he can change the receipt so that it will match what the driver is trying to say. Really? My husband and the company already has the original receipt so you changing it after the event has taken place is a forging. So that is telling me that the whole company is full of liars. The dispatch tell you one thing then the driver shows up hours later or don't even show up. The driver lies about his instructions, his distance, and what he has done. Then the manager wants to forge an original document. Worst service ever. I don't even recommend this company to the blind or even my dog. read more

My teenage son had an accident with a deer. The TowPro was dispatched to his location at 12:30 and given a 60-90 minute window of arrival. After 2:00 no one showed. 3:00 went by. 4:00 came and went. It was until after 6 pm that my son was picked up. Note that we live in another city and needed to get home. I was livid. When the truck finally arrived, the driver backed into my mailbox! He took pictures as well as we, the home owners and was told that we'd be compensated for the mailbox. It has been three weeks! My family has been avoided. Ashley, evidently no last name, will not return calls. Sam seems to have a private last name as well as David the owner who has a mysterious last name as well. This company deserves 0 stars. Had a break down last night. Insurance called this company. After missing their one hour deadline, and no calls to us to explain why, we had to call our insurance company to find out what was going on. We were told they would be there in 12 minutes. Half an hour later we had to call our insurance co again. Supposedly that driver had a busted headlight and a new driver was on his way and guess what? He was 12 minutes out. Let me add here that we had a child with us who needed his medication and desperately needed to use the bathroom. When the driver arrived, he tried to over charge us and said he wouldnt release the car until it was paid. Again another call to insurance that dropped the price from $50 to $28. Then he insisted on using my CC since he didn't have change for cash. I followed him to a store to get change. Worst experience to date with a tow service. read more

My insurance towed my car here after an accident last week. It took them longer than their estimated time of arrival to get to me (by about 45 minutes), but given the time of night (9 pm) and remoteness of my location from the highway, that is understandable. The people working in their office picked up quickly and were very helpful and professional when I asked for an updated ETA. Once the truck showed up, my car was loaded and off to their lot within five minutes. The employees at the tow lot, which I had to visit twice, were helpful and really pleasant; they made the experience of having a totaled car a little less terrible, and even stopped over to help me clean out my car and take off my old plates. Christmas afternoon my 19 year old stepson decided to start my husband's truck as it hadn't been started for a week (husband was in hospital), he didn't know how to operate a stick shift or clutch but tried anyway! Started the truck, it lurched forward, bust threw the pipe barrier on our carport then dropped down 5 ft. below. Front of truck on the ground and back up in the air hanging onto the concrete. Tow Pro was the 3rd company to come look at it and I had been recommended to ask for "Big Kenny!" He came, looked and decided we needed a crane to lift front of truck while slowly pulling it back onto the floor of the carport. Brought the truck and a helper and those two gently maneuvered the truck up and back onto safe ground, took an hour but these two were amazing professionals who saved our truck! Cannot thank them enough for their brilliant work. Wish I could give them more stars, Big Kenny certainly lived up to his reputation as the only one that could save this truck from being totaled!!! read more

My friend instructed Cotton Towing to take her car to her mechanic and gave him directions. Instead the driver took it to Tow Pro's lot. It was 3 days before she was well enough to retrieve it. They charged her for 3 days of storage at $30 per day, and tried to charge her a $25 fee Lien processing. She protested the Lien fee and it was dropped. But even though the driver took it to the wrong place, they made her pay the $90 to get the car back. She tried calling the owner David Williams and even went to his office to arrange to meet with him, but he would not return the calls. Finally, the office staff informed us he would not be refunding the $90 and he said,"Tell them to do what you have to do"! So...YELP....the first thing to do is...writing a bad review! read more

We tried this company during recent snow storm. Received rude service on front end trying to get wenched out of ditch. Never showed up, never called. It took us calling. They always said they would be there in next 2 hours. My husband sat for 10 hours in below freezing temps before he decided to walk home. He was in Bellevue and we live in Fairview. When he got home I called company to inquire status. Woman was extremely rude. Inturrupted me every time I spoke. I spoke up to be heard over her screaming and she accused me of being rude. She then screamed at me to call TEMA and hung up when I said I will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau. I will never recommend this company. read more

From one Outraged Company, we have never been or had an experience like we did with Tow Pro. We had a truck breakdown in Antioch, The driver informed us they did not tow back to Columbia so the truck was towed to their holding lot. When we call this morning to pay the bill it was 210.55 (60.00) for two days of storage, the truck was towed at 6pm and picked up the next morning at 10 am not even 24 hours later. The lady who we dealt with was very rude and had a " I don't care attitude", I would not recommend the services of this company to anyone, let alone Local Business's needing a Tow Company. This is honestly and absolutely the worst experience I've EVER encountered with any business or company. I got a flat tire while on the interstate and didn't have a spare. By the time I was able to get a new tire, they'd towed my car already. They had it for 3 days and wanted almost $400. I paid them, then went back to my car to get the rim off to take to the tire shop and get my new tire put on it so that I could put it on my car. When I walked through their "yard," I was walking on PILES of broken car parts, shards of glass, broken and shards of metal and piping. It looked like a dump, literally. When I finally found my car, ALL FOUR TIRES WERE FLAT, my windshield cracked, and I'm not exaggerating when I say they also managed to rip off the ENTIRE front end of my car. The bumper, grill, even headlights completely destroyed. It would have costed me TWICE what I paid for the car to fix it. I immediately asked for my money back, in complete shock. I've spoken to several managers, each time I get told to email photos to them so they can send them to HR. and each time I tell them I've already done this. They denied me their insurance information, which is completely illegal. When I went back to retrieve my belongings out of my car, they'd moved my car all the way to the very back and told me I was only allowed to make one trip back there. I had to haul 3 large boxes stacked in my arms, while 3 men working in the "yard" "cleaning" saw and didn't even offer their assistance. Mind you, it's over 90 degrees outside and I'd just spent 20 mins standing outside speaking to them through a window- already drenched in sweat. When I finally got my belongings to my new car, I was extremely overheated and hyperventilating. They have a vending machine inside and when I tried handing them money for a water out of the machine, as I was clearly overheated and was on the verge of passing out stumbling while trying to walk, they denied me a WATER. saying the vending machine was for employee use only. When I asked for a manager, she LAUGHED in my face and said "i saw you were smoking a cigarette when you pulled in. Maybe you'd be able to breathe and wouldn't be begging for water if you wouldn't smoke." Then went on to direct me to the gas station down the road. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. They are incredibly unprofessional, unorganized, no one has any idea what's going on there, and they were the complete description of trashy people. Im FLABBERGASTED. DISGUSTED. SHOCKED. that the owner of this business, which is Tow Pro Services, could allow their employees to treat customers this way- or would hire people like this as employees. read more
