I've been going here for years. The last 2 years were terrible. Dr, Mark Austin is a very crabby…read moreman. I would not recommend him. He doesn't look you in the eye when speaking at you. It seems he has better things to do. He said he doesn't know why the government has them do these eye exams. Excuse me I need the eye exam because I am diabetic and the government needs to know my eyes are ok to drive. I told him I needed the paper work that day. He said he couldn't pull his staff away to complete it. My other Dr. does the paperwork as she is doing the exam. I think it's time for Dr. Austin to retire. I will be looking for another Dr. I've had enough of this place. I will take my money else where.

THe tell you want eye drops they are putting in and why. Dr. Vrabek is professional and really good at what he does. After having this catarac syrgery done I feel like a fifth grader that can see again when I got my first glasses. It is so cool to not have to reach for my glasses in the morning. So be prepared that's all I'm saying.

My left lens was perfect but everything was blurry thru my new right lens. Distance, mid distance & close up. I brought them back the next day and Lori (Laurie) wanted to make the trouble out to be my new frames or the prescription. No, I said, it was the lens. Her attitude was a little off putting and finally she agreed to have the lens remade. Two weeks later I went back for my new glasses and nothing had changed. Everything was still blurry through the right lens. Almost as if she had set them on a shelf for two weeks to call my bluff. It was no bluff - the right lens was not made correctly and nothing I could say would convince her of that. I did get my money back but I would have much preferred to have glasses that are correct.
