Last night we attended an event at this establishment to which we paid about $105 for two VIP tickets. The event was Art of Celebration for New Years Eve 2017. We arrived at the front and paid $25 for valet. No issues, everyone was very pleasant and friendly. First thing that caught my eye was all the clothing that the women were wearing. I'm all about showing a little skin and being sexy but most of the outfits looked like they were meant for exotic dancers. The event stated it would be formal with dress code strictly enforced. I was wearing a full length gown showing tasteful cleavage while my fiancé was wearing his military dress blues. We expect it to be a more classy crowd I guess. More adult and tasteful. Even the waitresses were in basically velvet swimsuits. Well anyways we continued on up to the 48th floor. We were greeted nor directed by anyone. The music was so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves. 3 different music genres from 3 different areas were pulsing through the club. It was like a musical battle where they each must attempt to drown out the other to win. Maybe I had high expectations for what I thought the ambiance should have been. I listen to all kinds of music. I love music. I just expected some classical or even jazz. We made our way through the halls which were piled with garbage. Platters to be exact. Till finally we made it to where we could use our meal tickets. Our choices were hot wings, egg rolls, or quesidillas. Oh boy, at this point we were done. We arrived about 1045 and left at about 2320. We were so incredibly disappointed because we got all dressed up for a formal event and spent that kind of money to be offered hot wings..... Our time in and out can be verified by receipts I'm sure since we did use valet. If anyone wants to contact me in regards to a follow up of any kind I'm all ears. I'm a very reasonable person but I just wish it was as advertised. I don't feel we got what we should have for the money that we spent. Truly wish our tickets were refundable. I have been a member of the Tower Club for that last 5 years and will continue to be a member for years to come. The service is great. The food is top notch. The menu is always changing and they will accommodate any request (vegetarian, no dairy, etc...). Oh yeah and the views are great! Not only is the food great, but the wine menu is extensive. They continuously have great happy hours, networking events, food & wine and food & beer events, and some of the most influential professionals in DFW are members. Maybe it is because I am a member and not just a visitor, but I am waited on like I own the place every time I am there. The bartenders know my drinks and have it waiting for me as soon as I walk up to the bar without having to order. For those visitors who complain and will never come back, us members thank you for not returning and ruining our club. read more

This is as good as it gets! I have been a member of Tower Club for almost three years now and am ashamed of my self for just now writing this review. I probably use the club 2 - 4 times a week for business lunches and meetings, fraternity and social organization meetings and just to relax and have a good drink at the bar. In addition, I use the club, on occasion, for a nice dinner with close friends or family. There is not one single time, that I can recall, when I have not been greeted by name by the staff. Darius, one of the mangers, always takes time to come shake my hand or introduce me to someone. Charlie, one of the bartenders, will start making my drink the moment I walk into the bar, I don't even have to order. When I am entertaining guests they are always treated well and enjoy their time at the Club. From time to time I will take my laptop up to the club to do some work while eating dinner at the bar or having an after work drink. I have, several times, left my computer at the bar unattended for several hours and have, on occasion, completely forgot about my computer while attempting to leave. Each time without fail one of the staff would grab my computer and make sure I had it before leaving. Food, amazing. Great lunch buffet, amazing dinner and dinning experience. The service is amazing, Mike, Susan, Arturo and Ruben always go out of their way to make sure my experience is impeccable. If you are looking for a great dinner, a place to throw a huge or small party, drinks with friends, a power lunch, or just a quite drink after work while you watch the traffic, there is simply nowhere better. read more

My wife and I chose to dine at the Tower Club for our 25th anniversary last night. We certainly weren't disappointed. Their main space on the 48th floor is closed for renovations, but the view from their banquet space where they are currently operating is amazing. We were seated at a window and were treated to a gorgeous sunset. Afterwards the light show from the Dallas skyline took over. The service was impeccable, and we couldn't have been happier with our server Arturo. We enjoyed the scallops for a starter and then shared two entrees - short rib and duck breast. Everything was delicious. Our Club Corps One membership applied to make it a great value as well. Well done Tower Club, you help make our anniversary amazing and wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody looking for a special evening. read more

Tower Club Dallas hosted my wedding reception back in the 90's. To this day, from time to time, somebody will mention the event...Yes, it was just that spectacular!! Fast forward to a beautiful January 2019 day with lunch at Tower Club. Afternoons here are bright, cheery, yet sophisticated and elegant! We went here for my husband's birthday. Arturo was a WONDERFUL server! We were on a short timeline and when I told him we'd like to leave by 7 (it was just around 6:15), he was very quick to tell the chef and he exceeded our expectations. He was very attentive and always willing to give his opinion. We went with a Travelzoo voucher but were treated no different than a member. We had: tuna poke (awesome!), and the pork belly (VERY good!) as appetizers, the veal saltimbocca (well cooked but a bit too strong on the herbs for me), and wahoo (catch of the day - absolutely delicious!), as the entree, and sorbet and truffles (YUM!) for dessert. The only reason I'm giving this a 3 star is due to the view. The view is spectacularly breath-taking. You can really see a majority of downtown Dallas. The waitress was very nice and completed her job. But the food service was so slow. And normally I am lenient with restaurants that are relatively busy. But we were the only ones there! They didn't have any other customers in the entire joint! Why did it take 30 - 45 minutes to make the appetizers? And it's not like we ordered a ton. We ordered two appetizers. The appetizers were okay! We bought breaded asparagus and a sandwich that had a spicy boneless chicken wing in a Korean bread. I forget what it is called. :( They weren't amazing, but not horrible. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes to get our actual food. And I ordered the ahi tuna salad. And all it was, was a spring mix of salad and 4 small pieces of ahi tuna. And it just looked like something I could make at home. And I'm a little upset with myself, because I didn't take a photo which is such a beginner yelper mistake lol. But trust me, it was something you could make at home. The other orders were also mediocre. Overall, I would only go for the view and appetizers. Which that isn't a bad night but save the dinner for somewhere else! It's located in a Wework building! UPDATE! Never going to tower club ever again. Dinner on a Saturday evening was less than impressive. They allocated most of their staff to an upcoming wedding and management failed to cover the Club itself. Arturo was a prince as the head waiter here but he ran around trying to cover all those regular guests who showed up. They were short by at least three servers. They had no Malbec wine in the house as a result of poor stocking levels. It is pretty noisy in this club. Our food was mediocre at best. The cheese plate was not so good and the French onion soup was average with much less cheese than normal. The redfish was spicy and came with compacted grits, and bits of lump crab and pico. The Filet was so bad and the meat so tough that it literally had to be sawed with a big steak knife. The cut was too dry and seemed overcooked unlike the medium requested. The melange of carrots, mashed potatoes, and crab was distasteful. The three flavors of sorbet were good as was the presentation of the Grand Marnier cheesecake. I have been to the Tower Club for drinks twice and both times have been really great experiences. Their happy hour is solid and the drinks are well made. Obviously the view is incredible. It gives you a great view of all of Dallas. They have TVs at the bar for any sports lovers. And to top it off, on Thursday nights they have live jazz music! This ClubCorp that runs Tower Club- DALLAS is totally unethical in how they handle stopping their membership charges. Early in 2018 I joined a marketing group that met in the tower club so I joined the tower club to join this marketing group. I left the marketing group due to hospitalization. I called tower club to cancel my membership they did and stopped payment on my credit card. Fast forward to oct of 2019. They sent a $843 to collections for fees from back when I cancelled to now. I called GLORIA REYES at TOWER CLUB DALLAS and she said there is nothing they can do since I didn't send in a written signed notice of cancellation. They don't honor phone call cancellations. Not sure how a company can make up monthly charges for a product you don't use, then say "hey you owe us a bunch of money" years later. I live an hour away from there, and why didn't they just keep letting the bill add up? Something definitely not right about how they do business, please be aware of their unethical ways of charging you for something you never used. read more

Food was divine and the view just as wonderful. The restaurant is very elegant with modern décor, situated on the 48 floor of a huge building near Thanksgiving Square. This building looks down on Fountain Park building, at least from our table. This place is surprisingly kid-friendly, but all the kids were very well behaved and respectful. It is also very romantic for those who want to bring their mates. I brought my son here for his high school graduation dinner celebration. He loved the truffle fries. It actually has bits of truffles in it, not just the oil. He had the duck and I had the scallops. We both had soup and it was delicious as well. We were full, but we got the creme brulee for desert to share. Everything we tried, we liked it. The service is impeccable and we had 3 waiters waiting on us: drinks, food, getting our plates from us when we were finished. The manager came by to check on us and introduce himself. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Be aware that you have to have a membership to get in for a meal, unless you are find a promo online such as groupon or restaurant week. I went there with my wife and another couple on a Travelzoo voucher midweek and found restaurant to be average at best. The view is impressive but the décor is 1980's Holiday Inn. The Hostess could not find our reservation and it was questionable if she would let us in at all even though only two tables were occupied. We were seated after she had a brief, but audible, argument with the waiter who acted like he couldn't handle another table. We were presented with a very limited uninspired menu with Beef Stroganoff the only beef dish available. I order pork loin wrapped in bacon that was dry and uneventful. The service was polite but uneven. Overall the voucher saved us about $20 off the total bill based on standard menu prices.........not worth it. read more

I hate to do this. I really do. I came to this establishment for a nice dinner with my husband and son. We were supposed to have been taken care of by the concierge upon arrival. So we thought this would be a seemingly painless experience. After being seated, we had to wait about 15 minutes just to receive a high chair. The waiter who was very nice-but frazzled, did continually come to the table and explain to us that normally they don't have high chairs in the restaurant and someone was going to get it from somewhere else. There was a mix up with my husbands Club Corp number so we waited another 15 minutes just to get that situated with no food in sight. The waiter finally comes back to the table and we order appetizers. The deviled eggs are amazing and the goat cheese/mozzarella combination was good too! We then wait another 20 minutes for the waiter to come back and get our orders for our entrees. We order a salad and steak and it took so long for the food to get there I had forgotten that we ordered salads. After the food arrived I got uncomfortable because I could tell the wait staff was talking about my family because we had such a mix up with my husbands ID number. I was embarrassed. I can't say I won't come back. But it won't be in the near future. The views were amazing, the food was good. The service could have been way better. read more

My husband and I made dinner reservations here after receiving an invitation to dine at the Tower Club. Recently remodeled, the club now resembles a more posh, streamlined sky restaurant rather than the old and heavy men's getaway it used to be, but it has lost none of its grandeur. The food was well made and well presented. We sat at a table near the window overlooking the twinkling lights of the city and uptown. Curious, I asked our host for a tour of the entire club, and he was more than willing to indulge us. The meeting rooms and amenities are impressive and, if I were in need of a meeting place downtown, would be well worth the membership. I highly recommend reserving a special night at the Tower Club. While they are at a high price point, they ensure that your every moment is worth it. read more

The venue is very nice with a great top floor view, but the service was very disappointing for our private event. Bar tender was rude, unpleasant. We noticed he was consistently like that with all the guests. A couple of the guests were members of the club including me and I was appalled how rude and snobby the staff treated all our friends because they assumed they were not members. Who cares? The private event was paid good money for and we were nice behaved guests. One server completely changed his tone in a noticeable way from rude to friendly when he learned my husband was a member. My family was a member of the Tower Club for years before dropping only about half a year ago since we didn't go that often anymore. Having said that, I can't say enough great things about this place and the service. We always do the buffet and despite the word buffet possibly scaring people off, these guys do it right. Not only is the food great, you also don't feel overwhelmed by all the different options they have available. The thing that stands out is the waitstaff. Not only are the extremely well trained, the remember you by name and I swear I can't remember a time the staff didn't always have a smile on their face. This place should get more than 5 stars. My wife and I had our 23rd anniversary here. The staff was extremely friendly and made this special occasion the best. My wife had the scallops and I had the lamb, both were excellent. We arrived at the restaurant at 6 o'clock and was able to see the sunset, the most beautiful view in Dallas. Went there last night. Guys, definitely take your ladies there! The view was amazing and it was very quiet with acoustic guitar music in the background. Definitely a perfect spot for a date ;). Ok, the food. We ordered from the restaurant week menu, I got the chicken beast and it was very moist and tender, loved it. My ladies got the steak (don't remember the name of that dish), it wasn't bad, a little too chewy for my taste. I got truffle balls as desserts, very very sweet and chocolaty, a little hard though. The restaurant week menu is $35 per person, that's salad (soup), entree and dessert, good price for that kind of restaurant. Ok, the wine, we got a bottle of 2012 estancia Monterey pinot noir for $38. According to vivino app the average price is $41, but pretty sure that's wrong. That bottle of wine is about $12 in store, so the price at this restaurant is reasonable. And this place is reservation only. read more

Our Mother's Day brunch experience was average at best. Service was attentive but forgetful at times. The dining room is one of the best in Dallas with the best views. Sushi was good, brunch selections were a let down. Bagels and lox aren't as good when the bagel is stale. The meat was well seasoned and the seafood was fresh! The Tower Club was an absolutely wonderful place to have a wedding! They provided all the set up, break down, catering, staff, security - EVERYTHING about the venue! The view on the 48th floor was spectacular in the evening. Diane - the venue coordinator was wonderful to work with. She made the bubble tea vendor, the photobooth, and child care services fit within space. This is such a gorgeous and modern venue that truly showcased all of DFW from an aerial view! The place is nice and has incredible views of downtown. Food was decent, but the service we had was terrible. We had a table of 12 in a private room and it took over 30 minutes to get a drink order. Beautiful views but the interior was outdated and the food was mediocre. Steak was overcooked and dry, "mashed" potatoes were lumpy, asparagus tough. We attended a wedding there and they had an open bar. I asked for "Scotch, neat." The young guy pouring the drinks gave me a blank stare and I said "neat, no ice." He got it and poured about 6 oz of scotch! Hey I'm not complaining! But since it's an open bar I would have preferred a standard 2 oz pour and then been able to chose another drink after that. No problem though, he was a nice guy and obviously new. It became a little more frustrating when the second bartender didn't know what "neat" meant. Again, I extended grace and explained that "neat" meant no ice, just like "on the rock" meant with ice. I returned to the same bartender after a period for another scotch, neat. He said "my boss said I can't serve you any more scotch, neat. I thought he was kidding and said "oh, ok. Well then one ice cube." He said, "no it has to have more than 2 ice cubes," and put a half dozen ice cubes in and poured my scotch. Then he apologized that he couldn't serve me Scotch, neat. I then realized....he wasn't kidding! I guess management was so lacking in beverage management knowledge that they supposed scotch drinkers not wanting ice were doing it to get more scotch?? I drink in moderation, never to excess so there's no chance they thought I was drinking too fast. For most scotch lovers, good scotch is served neat. I only add ice when it's bad scotch. Still, a wonderful venue and event, but there's room for improvement. read more

Nice View, bad food. My sister in law bought us a Groupon for this place. I was impressed when we walked in, good views and attentive, friendly staff. That lasted through appetizers. Once the entree was served it was a long time until we saw the waiter again. The duck was terrible! The taste was way off and the balsamic whatever they put all over it ruined even the taste of my wine. My husbands short ribs had 3 bites of meat once he got done taking off the fat. It was really just a pile of fat! We finally got the desert menu about 1hr after the entree was served. My cheesecake (how can you go wrong with cheesecake?) was still frozen in the middle. I asked to have a box for it and they took it away and shoved it in this tiny plastic box and stuffed my husbands bread pudding on top of it. Then charged us $50 for 1 glass of wine and a beer. Please do Not buy the groupon! I would hate for anybody to have the same experience! read more

After recently going i was not impressed. I have had better and more attentive service at Chili's. The server was friendly and food was good however they seemed understaffed. The server wanted our wine, appetizer, and main course order all at once. I went to order two glasses of wine and a cheese board for appetizer and he said can i take your main course order now too. Way to feel rushed and unwelcome. The wine took forever to get, we had to ask for butter (and wait 5 minutes) to go with the bread that was dropped off. It clearly was an issue of being understaffed. I also received my steak and had no fork. I set there for five minutes trying to flag someone down to get a fork. I am sorry but my money is better spent elsewhere. Also, they had lost my reservation and had no record of it. Kind of embarrassing when you are on a date. The food was appetizers, food, and dessert was great but with the horrible experience I would never go back. Go to Perry's Place, Bob's, or Nick and Sam's and get the service you expect. read more

I was here for a NYE party and the venue is beautiful! We were on the 48th floor and there were 3 different rooms to float between the whole night. One room had a large bar with a large dance floor, another had a smaller bar with a photo area & dance floor, and another with a live band, dance floor, and a bunch of tables. All the rooms were very spacious and we had a great time partying while taking in the amazing views of downtown Dallas. You could also see the fireworks show. The only bummer-all 8 of the elevators broke down as we were trying to leave (possibly due to the large number of people). Some people had to walk down 48 flights of stairs after dancing all night. =( Luckily, my group only walked to the 39th floor and took the other set of elevators. read more

The Tower club recently began to open dining up to the non members in the building, so I thought I would give it a whirl for breakfast to go. Great view, beautiful view and interior. I ordered steak and eggs. Medium steak and medium scrambled eggs. unfortunately I got almost well done, unseasoned steak and well cooked eggs after almost a 30 min wait in an nearly empty restaurant. The hash browns are not worth mentioning, just run of the mill shredded. For all the hype and $21 + they included 20% gratuity (which I would have left anyway) this was a disappointing breakfast. The only thing that made it worthwhile is that the steak was a nice portion. Not sure Ill try this place again for breakfast, when there are so many other options, that taste better and know how Medium eggs and steak should be cooked. Just disappointing. I hate to write a poor review on a restaurant, but the experience this eve was so much less than We expected in terms of service and food, that I had to make a review. The atmosphere and view are amazing, and we thought we would take my senior parents here when visiting over the upcoming holiday if everything else gave us that same positive impression. But from the moment that we sat in the bar, which wasn't overly crowded and it took 15 mins to get a drink? Which bartender then brought a different drink. And corrected it in another 10 mins, we thought, ugh oh.. may not be very customer oriented. It continued with a lot of unprofessional assistance by the dining room manager who was also acting as our wAiter, and it was clear that he had not excelled in fine dining or even higher end dining establishments. The salmon was way over cooked and flat bread mediocre although recommended.. soup was great tho! It's just that the evening at the Tower Club should have exceeded in all of the elements, or at least most, and it disappointed in food prep and greatly in service. read more

I attended a wedding at the Tower Club last month. While at the wedding, my purse was stolen from the dinner table. The tower club staff was unhelpful as we searched the facilities for over an hour. We finally left at 3am, and returned at 8am to get my rental car towed to the airport (keys were in the stolen purse). While there, we asked security to check again and the purse was sitting right at the front desk. The story I got later was that housekeeping found it while cleaning, however my cash and cell phone were missing. I've asked the Tower Club to take responsibility for the cost of replacing my cell phone but they have refused to do so, blaming it on other guests rather than admitting their staff is at fault. Even when the bride contacted them regarding this issue, they refused to do anything. I have NEVER had my purse stolen at a wedding before, and this is completely absurd. The fact that they are unwilling to take any responsibility and that they were absolutely unconcerned or unhelpful in getting my purse back speaks to the lack of accountability they assume for events at their facility. I would avoid the Tower Club, both from a safety of your belongings perspective as well as customer service. read more

We visited the Tower Club from the affiliate club in San Diego and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was traditional, excellent Texas/American food prepared perfectly. The staff was congenial and accommodated every request. We had a quiet, private room with spectacular views of the Dallas night skyline. A great all around experience. read more
