Over the years, lucky I am to be invited to this private club for dinners and special events. The twinkling view on the 17th floor of my beloved city is unmatched, and, their service is impeccable. Last evening, enchanted I was with the renovations made, including their architectural chandeliers and fabulous carpet, to their new bar and main dining room. With this new look, an uplifted elegance there is to Park City Club now. And, ... The Annual 91st Academy Awards Preview & Wine Dinner event with Gary and Hayley Cogill was da bomb. Perfectly executed was the flow of the evening; stunning was the room decor and table setting; delicious was dinner, including the "crab cake", "quail", & "cheeses"; and, spectacular were the wine pairings to the courses and nominees. Nice place for an event with great views. I know it's also a private club that happens to be more than I can afford, but then again, i live on the other side of the metroplex, so it wouldn't benefit me to be a member anyway. Hahaha The dinner served was really good, loved the pork an veggies. The dessert was good also. The employees made up the rest of a great experience with their professionalism and helpful attitudes. Came to PCC for a networking breakfast hosted by two organizations I am a member of and I was very impressed! Sumptuous surroundings and excellent customer service at every turn. Breakfast buffet had everything from smoothie shooters to an omelet bar and lots of options for every dietary restriction. Once we had our food we were off to a private room for our ~40 person party to meet. Service in our private room was good, if a bit aggressive as I'm a slow eater, and told them twice I was still eating as our event progressed. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the amazing views of the city from this private club in the sky. read more

We had our son's wedding reception at the Park City Club in April. It was everything we hoped for and more! Excellent food and service. Beautiful space for our 78 guests, DJ, dance floor and Photo Booth. I waited a few weeks to write this review because I thought maybe all the good feelings would fade as we settled back into regular life after the wedding, but they haven't! I am so glad we chose the club for their reception. Hala was terrific to work with, and I'm not kidding, the food was delicious! read more

Disclosure: I have visited Park Cities Club 2 times (dinner/event) Park Cities Club is a private club that sits on the 17th floor of the Bank of Texas building near Preston and Northwest Highway. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - PCC is a very nice private club. Upon entering off the elevator, you are greeted with a nice lobby which splits to a warm, library great for lounging. The other side has the main dining area. The entire club is super classy with dark woods, excellent place settings, and a very classy feel. There's also a great view of downtown Dallas. And on a clear day you can see Cowboys/AT&T/Jerry's World in Arlington. Although jacket is only required on weekend, I would recommend it on any day. Don't worry about the Texas heat, they have AC. 1 Star. Service - Amazing. Simply amazing. We went on two occasions, one for a taste testing that doubled as dinner, and then the event which we chose at the venue. Most servers have been at PCC of numerous years, and it's the type of service you would get at a 5 Star restaurant. 1 Star. Food - Our food at the tasting was good but not great. While the sea bass was wonderful, the steak was a little over done. Furthermore, desert tasted more like premade options vs. freshly baked at PCC. For our event (80+ people), the food was very good for that amount of people. In fact I was very impressed and wouldn't think twice to recommend PCC to others for future events. 1 1/2 Star. Will I Return? -Sort of. PCC is a member's only club, you need a membership not just the jacket. I would only return as a guest. I'm not in the PCC Tax Bracket yet.....However, I would recommend the venue for events. The service and food for the amount of people is very good. 1/2 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. A classy place for classy occasions. This club has it all asthetically. The dark wood, low light, great furniture, and ample space. We came here for a rehearsal dinner and the staff was top notch. Everything was organized and the event flowed well. The audio and video equipment were up to date and there was staff to help in case of issues. I hate to give minus one star for the food, because I know how difficult it is to cook en masse, but the food here was nothing special. Given everything else at the club, I guess I just expected more from the food. Oh well, do not let that deter you from having your event here. This place is a class act all the way. read more

It is the perfect place for it. Excellent setting, courteous wait staff, great food. Your guests will be impressed, especially with the amazing view of the skyline. Membership is inexpensive, food is reasonably priced for a restaurant experience like this. Dinners overlooking the lights of the city are very nice, especially around Christmas. There is NEVER a wait for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night. This is a great place to entertain clients, host dinner parties, club events or just have a wonderful meal with a loved one. read more

Attended Park City Club with my team for an award dinner. This was my first visit and I was quite impressed of the atmosphere and presentation. The building is located right off of the Service road of Dallas North Tollway and Northwest Highway. The park garage is right under the building which makes it convenient to access the building. The club was nicely decorated with Christmas decor, trees and not to mention the gorgeous view of downtown Dallas. The food was "okay". satisfactory but not over the top. We had a four course meal with appetizers, salad, entree and dessert and coffee. The filet minion needed to be cooked a little more. Too raw for my tasting. I do recommend for banquets, small parties and team outings. This is a perfect place to have a nice reception and dinner. read more

This is a private club and event space on the 17th floor of a high rise building on Sherry Lane. I was here for the first time yesterday for a business meeting, and the food was amazing. The overall setting, hallways, rooms is a little dark (as in lighting) and very upscale. I was told we were having the best buffet in all of Dallas. Just the word buffet tends to take a negative connotation in my head, but isn't it fun to be surprised. The buffet included: two soups, Southwest Cesar Salad station with chicken or shrimp, build your own green salad, several salad toppings, pasta salad, cucumber salad, tuna salad, and one more salad, green peas, broccoli, rice casserole, mashed potatoes, lamb, chicken breasts, tilapia, rolls and other types of bread, and muffins. The only item that disappointed me on the buffet was tilapia. I do not eat tilapia, mainly because the taste is terrible and it is a trash fish. There was a dessert cart wheeled in our room, with 4 different desserts. I did not eat dessert, so I cannot comment on the flavor here. I thought the lamb had a wonderful flavor, and so did the chicken except the chicken was dry. The shrimp was also very good. There was no detail forgotten during my 3+ hours here. The service was impeccable, and as soon as you were finished with your plate it was taken away. This is a forgotten detail at most places, but a very important and critical one in my book because no one wants to stare at a plate after they are finished or full. read more

My wife and I have been members here for about 5 years. To have a place we can go for a quiet dinner, to celebrate events for to WOW friends or clients is important to us. Among the reasons we choose to be members? Everyone knows us by name. They know our likes and dislikes before we arrive (seating, lemon or no lemon in our teas, close to the piano or far away). We love that the ambiance is classy, the service is classy and the food is prepared with excellence. We really love the fact that tables are not "one on top of the other" allowing us to talk easily without excessive noise yet at a level where we don't feel that the next table is listening in. The silverware is heavy and polished, the charger plates are a nice touch and servers in tuxedos at lunch and dinner make this place impressive. The view is incredible at lunch or dinner, but don't overlook a power breakfast meeting or a fantastic family Sunday brunch. Lots of meeting rooms, perfect for seminars, presentations, wedding receptions and company parties. An excellent bar and a wine inventory will impress your clients. Oh, and don't underestimate the free covered (in building) parking for your guests. It is KEY for those VIP events and wedding receptions. On the elevator ride up to the 16th floor to the club, the gentleman from another floor in the building recommended the lunch buffet. The buffet has an extensive salad bar, a couple soup options, cheese/crackers/fruit, and of course great entree and side dish options. BUT, the most amazing thing is the view of the Dallas skyline. I grew up in a very middle-class lifestyle but somehow managed to work myself up to visiting country clubs, the Harvard and Princeton Clubs and the Cosmopolitan Club. As a native New Yorker, I have those East coast snobby values and could never imagine anything in Texas meeting my standards. lol Wow, was I wrong! I then saw the Park City Club. I did not go, however, as a guest, but on a job interview. I have never been treated with such dignity and respect and thought the venue was absolutely splendid. I have never felt so well-treated as a job applicant and if this is how I felt, this ought to be just an amazing place to entertain or be entertained. The design is sophisticated and inviting and the image is gracious without being stuffy. It seems to be a place for anyone and everyone. The managerial staff is knowledgeable and seems to love working for the Club. The staff seems happy and helpful and I had my favorite interview of all time there. By the way, I did not get a job offer, but I cannot think of a nicer way of spending an afternoon. This club does not need artwork--wait until you see the view. You may have heard about this spectacular view but you truly need to see it in person. I have been married for over 25 years and now am begging my husband to renew our vows so that I can have our reception at the PCC! Came here on a wine tour, the Taste of Howell Mountain event. I was blown away at the amount of people they could fit in the club. The food was very good and catered very well. Lots of snacks, food, meats and pairing options for everyone. They have carving stations as well manned by chefs who really know what they're doing. Not too difficult to get to either. We've been members here for about seven years and have never had a bad meal. The service is always superb. They greet you by name and know what you'd like to drink! The club manager is a gracious, highly professional perfectionist, which is reflected by how smoothly the club always runs. We belong to "Club One" so we can dine at this club. We belong to another club. We have only had the lunch buffet, which we find very ordinary--and the waiters haughty. One time we didn't want coffee & the waiter looked at us like we were lepers. Another time I wanted gravy for the dry meat & they kept bringing bar-b- q sauce. A lot of stuff on salad bar that was too sour. They are too stingy to give dessert w/buffet, like other clubs do. The view of city is pleasant, tho. We gave up going there & that is a relief.
