I had an excellent experience at Tower Health Urgent Care in Limerick. Dr. Elizabeth Beyer was great. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable discussing my symptoms with her. I do not know the name of the medical assistant who brought me into the exam room but she was also very friendly and professional. I was seen before my scheduled appointment. The staff is nice. But I had an appointment at 12. It's currently 12:30 and I'm still waiting in the lobby. It's quite frustrating to allow someone to make an appointment and to not honor it. They said it could be an hour. Please do not offer appointment times when you are not going to honor that said appointment times. Went for x-rays after a fall. Was called to be checked in when I walked in. I was asked my name and birth date. After having to repeat my birth date 3 times I was told that they had a different birth date. First red flag. She then asked for my co-pay. I gave it to her and asked if she wanted to see my insurance card. She said she didn't need it...second red flag. I was then taken into the room for my vitals by a sweet young girl. She went over my meds. Out of about 10 meds I said yes to one. Third red flag. She said she wanted to have the front double check what was going on. She took my drivers license and left the room. The PA came in. Super nice. She then said the paperwork shows that I was there 3 days ago for x-rays. I shook my head and said nope, not me! She then asked for my license and insurance card...surprise, wrong patient with the same name!!! Just so wrong...after the incorrect birthdate in the system, I think a few more questions should have been asked from the start. They did refund the co-pay that I made and send me a bill with the correct amount. The rest of the appointment went ok. PA apologized as did the girl that took my vitals. If you decided to use this facility, please question the check in procedure and don't not question things that seem off! Went there recently because I had gotten poison and it was on my face. I picked a good time to go as sometimes they can be crowded. Apparently the afternoon is the best time. They were very efficient, helpful and kind. Always go the extra mile with their explanations, and I never feel rushed. So lucky to have a location close to my home. read more

What a great experience! Had occasion to use Premier Urgent Care because our normal family dr couldn't get my daughter in for an appointment. First time she needed to be seen in three years - (of course!). Premier has a comfortable waiting area, a vending machine, and it was very clean. From the moment we entered, the front desk lady was very sweet and courteous. We had a brief form to fill out and were seen very quickly. We lucked out as there was 1 family ahead of us. The physician assistant, Gina, was very energetic and enthusiastic. I do not know the first lady's name who did the vitals but she was extremely friendly too. We were prescribed our medication and on our merry way. Less than 24 hours my daughter is feeling so much better. I highly recommend using this location if the need arises. I'm really glad to know I can be helped 9am-9pm every day of the year if my dr is unavailable. Keep up the great work! Everyone we encountered yesterday was customer focused and pleasant to deal with. Something very rare in today's often rude world. read more

I went in because I had pain in my rib. The PA I saw, Genevieve Asanti-Odami, listened and agreed to do an xray even though a recent CT scan did not report a problem. It turns out I did have a fracture of my rib, and was very grateful she actually listened and then took steps to help me, despite the CT scan not reporting a problem. Her schedule varies but if you were to see her she is excellent. read more

I would only recommend going if Dr Robert Ditizio isn't there. I have never had a problem with them before today. Here is my recap: I was in on Friday 12/23/22 and was seen by a lovely provider who told me I had tonsillitis. Told me to return if symptoms worsened which they did. I came back on 12/25/22 and was seen by a horrible, rude provider (robert ditizio). He entered the room with his mask around his chin and spoke to me on a demeaning manner from the second he walked into the room. They had performed a strep test and he didn't just tell me it was negative - he said it in a manner as if I were insisting it were and that I was wrong. He proceeded to tell me that my throat looks normal. It certainly does not. I looks worse than when I was in two days previous. He rudely said "well I don't know what it looks like before". I told him point blank that I didn't like the way that he was speaking to me. He basically talked down to me in the most rude manner the entire time. He dismissed what I was telling him - that I was feeling worse and symptoms were worsening. I put my coat on and left. In another post someone had put out there to check his background. This is what I found : Robert P. Ditizio, license no. MD- 047027-L, of Boyertown, Berks County, was indefinitely suspended until such time as he can demonstrate his fitness to practice medicine with reasonable skill and safety to patients. (01-30-04). Went there for a TB test as required by my new employer. Gave them all the paperwork and proceeded with the 2 part test which requires a return in a couple days. Did that also. They were supposed to send the results to my employer. Well, they didn't. So I can't start the new job when I'm supposed to. And I went on line and found out they charged the test to me, instead of the employer. So I proceed to try to straighten things out. I try to call the urgent care. Their recording says they are open 9-9 365 days per year. It's Saturday and they're not answering their phone. So I go down there Sat July 9 at 9:15. They're closed!!!!!! What a joke. So not only have they caused me to not be able to start my new job, they've wasted my time. And I have to wait and try to straighten things out on another day. read more

I called before stopping by and the girl at the front desk at the time was nice and when I Got there things change and the kept passing me to each other until they send me to that rude very rude lady who claimed to be a health care provider and I explained to her the whole situation of getting retested for COVID-19 so I could go back to work and my normal life, she refused to do the retesting and hange up the phone on me. I had an excellent first experience at Tower Health Urgent Care. They were short staffed and had an emergency come in during my visit, but stayed in touch and kept me updated during my weight. All of the staff members I saw were professional, friendly, and gave excellent care. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I need prompt care outside of my PCP's office hours. read more

Tower Health Was there for me when I was unable to see my primary care physician. They have been there for me all marvel times so I could get tested for Covid or treated for severe bronchitis. I brought my 12 year old son to Premier last week after a baseball injury. He hurt his hand and we thought his pinky finger was broken. We were checked in quickly. The receptionist was very friendly, as was the rest of the staff. My son had his hand x-rayed. The Physician's Assistant came into the room to tell us that my son had definitely broken his finger. He sent us on our way, X-ray pics on a disc, with instructions to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon. A few days later, we finally got to see the orthopedic hand surgeon at Children's Hospital. Imagine our surprise when we were told by the surgeon that my son's finger was not broken. According to the doctor, the X-ray quality was poor and there was a shadow that was misdiagnosed as a break. My son had a severe sprain with a hematoma and he will recover completely. While I was thrilled to get such great news I was really upset at the quality of care my son received. X-ray technicians are trained to know if the picture is one of good quality. How many times have you had an X-ray done and the tech says "let me make sure the pictures are ok before I let you go?" Additionally, the PA who was reading the X-rays should know when he's reading a poor quality scan. Thankfully, our issue was minor. If the providers at Premier can't diagnose a simple problem, how can anyone expect them to deal with things that require actual critical thinking skills? We won't be going back here again. read more

I went to the urgent Care on Tuesday. After paying $75 for 2 over the counter meds and cough syrup by prescription, I didn't get better. they called Wednesday to see how I was. I called Thursday and said not good it's getting worse. Call me an antibiotic. No you have to come in. Why? The office manager said she would not charge me anything unless I have a copay. I don't. I get there she said you paid $275 on Tuesday. No I didn't. Of yes you're right. You didn't. I have to charge you for this visit. I left. Completely incompetent. I won't be returning. I am also filing a complaint with patient advocacy. read more

We have had two incorrect "diagnosis" from this place. The last one, the PA, diagnosed my toddler with "teething" - the problem is that his fevers had been in the ranges of 103-105.4; clearly outside the range of teething. He was lacking wet diapers and had little to no appetite. We disregarded this diagnosis and had to spend more time at CHOP urgent care where a more thorough examination by an actual doctor was performed who confirmed that high temperatures do not accompany teething, especially for 5 days. Treating for viral infection with further instructions on what to watch for and how to treat. The first misdiagnosis was regarding my older son's tongue issues; he was experiencing an infection as well which was labeled as an irritated tongue; insisting he had bitten it. When his regular pediatrician opened we were able to get the proper scripts to help him heal. I do not suggest this place at all considering they are misdiagnosing patients blatantly with no regard. Also, if you have a small child - they do not have changing tables, FYI. read more

I went to this location today to have a dog bite examined. The staff greeted me in a very pleasant manner, and the doctor was very kind, thorough, and helpful. The individual who stood out the most was my nurse, Kel'li. She was warmly professional...a must in the healthcare field! I received excellent medical care, with the added bonus of a kind professional who truly cared about me and my well-being! If you want to be treated rudely by misinformed nursing and reception staff and get "medical treatment" by college-aged physician's assistants, then this place is just the ticket. We only went here because I was very sick and they opened early. On my first visit, I was treated very rudely by a neck-tattooed nurse who didn't know the difference between Naproxen and ibuprofen, but wanted to argue about the difference between "tired" and "lethargic." All this while I was miserable with a high fever and the flu. She continued to offer unsolicited "medical advice," about which herbal supplements I should take to help me sleep. Then I was seen by a young physician's assistant who diagnosed me with the flu in about 30 seconds without taking any cultures, and sent me home with Tamiflu. They would only write a note to be absent from work for two days. I had a fever so high I was delirious for 5 days, but they wouldn't write another note. When I was seen again a week later, it was a whole new cast of characters, but the exact same script. Rude, aloof nurse who seemed to be annoyed she had to do an evaluation on me and a physician's assistant who looked like she might have still been in high school. They continued to refuse to write a note for any longer than two days, despite my insisting that because of the nature of my work I am unable to work if I am sick at all. I ended up having to burn a week of vacation time because I couldn't verify I had a valid medical reason I was out. This after suffering through the worst illness of my adult life for a week. Long story short: drive to the next town over if you are physically able to, this place was probably the worst experience in "medical treatment" that I've ever had. I had a really good experience here. Went in for a UTI that was making me feel really sick, and I couldn't get an appointment quickly enough with my primary. Everyone I met was very kind, and they did all their required tests and evaluations very efficiently. I left with an Rx for an antibiotic and instructions to call if it didn't get better. I used to be very happy with this UC until a week ago. I came in with my daughter on Sunday. We both had obvious signs of a sinus infection. I get them twice a year so I am familiar with the symptoms starting day 1. This was day 2 and escalating quickly so I immediately went in. She gave my daughter an antibiotic but told me to wait five days for my antibiotic to be filled to let it naturally go away on it's on. I've never once had a viral sinus. If you need an antibiotic for a sinus infection those five days will damn near beat you to your death. I went back Tuesday and got the same blow off by another PA. At that point I thought maybe I had the flu I was achey and feverish with the chills. Finally Thursday after numerous fevers and being in bed for 4 straight days my family doctor prescribed me a steroid and an antibiotic. This week of hellacious pain and suffering all could have been avoided if the two dipshits from UC treated my symptoms properly. I guess that's the difference between a PA and MD. It's a shame there is one fabulous PA there that is on point. But I wasn't lucky enough to get her. The first PA I saw there on Sunday looked and acted like she just rolled out of bed and was on qualudes. Most sloppy unprofessional slob of a woman I've ever seen. Wouldn't go back there for a cough drop. read more

Worst Urgent care of all time. Cut my finger so I went to urgent care in Douglasssville and they said I needed immediate attention from a specialist that I should go to the Reading Hospital emergency center. I stopped up the street at another urgent care and they said the same thing. So against my better judgment I went and waited over 2 hrs. Finally seen a Physicians Assistant not even a doctor let alone a specialist and it took him 5 min to put 4 stitches in and he laughed when I said urgent care would not stitch it up. It was just to make money Urgent care even charged me to say go to the hospital. Then I get a bill for what the insurance would not pay so I paid that amount. Then 4 months later i get a letter from there partners in crime Arcadia saying I owe even more money and when I ask to see a bill they say they only have dates no invoice with details. What kind of company can send out a bill with no details and amount insurance paid. read more

Avoid this Urgent Care. I was misdiagnosed by the practitioner last night when I went there! She said I only had allergies and only ordered an oral steroid and eye drops. She was totally non-caring and incompetent!!! I knew I was really sick so I went to another Urgent Care and was diagnosed with a sinus infection and had ordered a broad spectrum antibiotic and antibiotic eye drops. The practitioner there told me I had infection and fluid in my ears, nose, throat, and sinus. I had green drainage coming from my eyes and down my throat! She told me that it was good I got there when I did because it would have been a lot worse if I had waited. (The first practitioner that treated me from Premier ignored my symptoms!!!!) The visit to Premier was very expensive and a total waste of money and time!!!!!!!! read more

I will never return to Premier. The staff act like nothing is urgent, except ordering lunch. I took my 12 year old son there 4/14/18 for what seemed to be an obvious sinus infection. The PA on staff was extremely rude and her physical exam was less than impressive. The test she ordered didn't make sense for the symptoms he had. She dismissed us with a cough surpressant that a kid should not be taking. I have been a nurse for 30 years and I am positive I would have been out of a job a long time ago if I treated patients the way this PA treated a 12 years old kid! The only " medical professionals" that treat patients this way are the ones who have no clue what they are doing! My son continued to get sicker over the weekend and saw his pediatrician today who diagnosed him with a sinus infection. read more

The staff was completely rude to us! This was my first time to here, but my fiance's 2nd time, and he was treated similar to this experience as well. We will not come back here because we don't want to be treated like we are a bother to the staff, and they truely did not care about us. It's not like we want to be there in the first place; my fiance had an accident and got hurt and really didn't want to go anywhere to be looked at, but I made him come to the local urgent care. So with that being said, being treated the way we were did not help our situation. We wanted to get out of there ASAP! The doctor wasn't even helpful.... I'm sad about this place. It's the only game in town. I am praying Patient First comes to a location a little closer. I had a pretty bad experience. A doctor that ran a bunch of tests and didn't bother to tell what the outcomes were. A nurse that magically disappeared for an hour at a time. Other nurses who kept telling me "I'm not your nurse so I can't help you". Staff standing in the main area outside the examination rooms openly discussing and making fun of patients. Another nurse that was on her cell phone the majority of the morning instead of helping patients and a doctor that kept asking me how I should be treated? Aren't you the doctor? I would go at least 20 minutes at a time not knowing what was going on and no one checking on me while all the staff was hanging out talking about lunch in the circulation area. There were broken ceiling panels and spiders in the corners. C'mon Premier, you can do better. read more

Received a collection letter BEFORE ever receiving a bill from Urgent Care. Where's the bill? Still waiting for the bill! Sent a check to Urgent Care along with a letter since my insurance company paid 98% alread. How do I know? I called my insurance company when I got the collection letter and obtained a copy of the payment. My check for 2% hasn't been cashed yet. Its almost been a month. Hmmmm.........Yes, I did provide the collection agency with a copy of the insurance payment and a copy of the check sent to Urgent Care. UPDATE: Still no bill, check not cashed. read more

Had the misfortune to require urgent care on three different occasions but was very fortunate that Premier Urgent Care was open and able to help me. All the staff was very considerate of my comfort, took immediate tests, made a diagnosis, treated the issues, sent prescriptions to my pharmacy and gave me written info and directions to follow at home. My son needed a form filled out with vaccination information for college. He took the college form and a copy of the vaccinations from his doctor to Premier Urgent Care. When he got there they said they could not do it because they didn't have page one of the form and they didn't have the Meningococcal vaccination which was required to fill out the form. Page one didn't contain any information they needed (it was instructions to upload the form to the college website) and he did not have to have the meningococcal vaccine because he was not living in the dorm. I called Premier Urgent Care when my son got home and asked why they could not do it. The receptionist put me on hold and got the answers. She came back to the phone and said they could fill out the form for $45.00!! Then I called Patient First and spoke to a nurse. She was extremely polite and said they did have the meningococcal vaccination and they would be happy to fill out his form. Guess what! they charged him $25.00 for filling out the form. Unless you really, really, are desperate, I would not go to that place. I guess you pay premier prices at Premier Urgent Care and my son said they were grouchy. I am glad they denied him when he went. They saved me $20.00 and my son got the vaccine too! read more

I went in about a month ago with groin pain. I had a rude nurse take me back to the examination room. She basically asked me "why didn't you just go to you primary care physician "? I thought how her boss might feel about that comment! Anyway, they tried to charge me the incorrect amount but then corrected it. My wife and son go her recently and they were also charged the wrong amount again and didn't fix it. The staff i talked to continue to "pass the buck" and say we'll call you back.
