My insurance (State farm) used this company for towing. This towing company estimated arrival was 40-50 mins. I patiently waited for them to arrive. They finally gave me a call and they confirmed all the details of the vehicle. 1 hour and 30 mins later they did not show up. I called my insurance and they said it was canceled, because they did not have the correct equipment! Why would you accept if you don't have the equipment (flat bed). I did not received a courtesy call at all,if I wouldn't have call my insurance (state farm) vehicle and myself will still be waiting. June 2020 This was the worst experience I've ever had dealing with this company. The tow driver has told two different lies to the dispatch and my insurance company. While talking to the dispatch he was rude offered a different lie to me about why I'm waiting and raised his voice and hung up in my face. They never called, I called and confirmed at 10am I was told I would get a call soon he was finishing a job. at 1130 when I called the driver he told me "good Luck, I'm far away." Call my boss I'm ONLY a driver not my fault. when I called the boss they said we called you several times ( they did not) when I saw what the driver told me he said welp call your insurance company and have them get a new contact company to come out. My car was scheduled to be picked up yesterday (Sept 24th) around 3:30 at the latest. Here we are today (Sept 25th) my car is still in my driveway. This company is probably the worst towing company I've ever had to deal with. My insurance company set up the roadside assistance and took it from there. But not once did this company reach out to me with an ETA. I called several different times between the first initial time to now 2:30 PM and still can't get ahold of a driver. First of all I gave them one star because there was not an option on ZERO STARS... My roadside assistance covers up to $120 for towing. I've had vehicles towed many times and yesterday 9/11/2019, as well as in November, Timewise Corporation tried to PRICE GOUGE me. The driver said that it will cost me $64 for the extra miles because my insurance covered only 12 miles. The trip was 21 miles. When I asked how much 12 miles cost, he couldn't tell me. The same happened in November where the driver said I would have to pay $70 for the overage of mileage. On that occasion, he wasn't taking the shortest route. Needless to say, on both occasions, I declined service with them. My insurance contacted other towing companies on both occasions and neither even made mention of overages for mileage. The tows were covered at 100% with the OTHER companies. Bottom line, TIMEWISE CORPORATION IS A JOKE!. I can only imagine how many unsuspecting people in need of emergency assistance have been taken advantage of due to their dire situations. It's deceptive, and frankly, ballsy. Timewise tow company was dispatched through Lincoln Roadside Assistance. I waited and then got a call from Lincoln saying they were dispatching another tow company because Timewise said they came out but my car was stuck in neutral. They lied to the dispatcher because they never came out and my car wasn't stuck in neutral. They just didn't feel like coming out and left me stranded for an extra hour. Timewise corporation is the worst tow company I've dealt with. I had a broken axel on my car, spoke with the driver and let him know what was the issue. He told me his ETA was 45 minutes. An hour had passed, no sign of the driver. I called the driver back directly, no answer. Called the dispatch company, no answer. I called my insurance company back and they stated that it was cancelled on the tow company's end but they were never notified. Not to mention, I had already been waiting for over an hour an a half. I tried to call the driver and the company back but the declined all of my calls. Poor customer service, and failure to take responsibility on the company's end. My insurance company used this towing company to assist me when my car broke down. I was given a 90 minute wait time. I kept looking at the tracking app to see how close they were until it stated Arriving Soon" after 30 minutes of seeing that message my insurance company called me to see if they had arrived. Called insurance for a tow at midnight as our car battery had died leaving my sister and myself alone on a dark access road in a not-so-safe area. They informed us that the company being sent was this one. We received a text from the company saying they would be there within an hour and to call or visit their website with any additional information. We decided to call them to explain our exact location and predicament as it was dark, we had no lights and it was a fairly obscure area. The man was very short and rude on the phone and said "we will get there in an hour." And seemed to be annoyed that we called. Half an hour passed and we called the insurance company to check on the status of the request. It wasn't until then that we found out the company had cancelled their dispatch to us so insurance had to call another company. Thankfully the subsequent company was early, friendly, and very customer oriented! Unlike this company. Which left 2 single women stranded on a dark road, with dying phones, in an unsafe area and cancelled when they got annoyed that we called them. read more
