I had a really unsettling experience with one of this company's tow truck drivers on FM 1960. I was in the middle lane when the driver pulled out into the right lane, but he clearly didn't have enough room to make his turn. I had to slam on my brakes and swerve left to avoid hitting him. It wasn't even close--there was no way he could've made that turn without cutting into my lane. I honked to make him aware, but instead of moving on, he chose to escalate the situation. For the next two and a half miles, he followed me, tailgating with his brights on, pulling up next to me, and then cutting into my lane. When we finally stopped at a red light, he rolled down his window, started yelling, and waving his hands at me. He only backed off when I held up my phone to show I was calling 911. This was not just unprofessional--it was downright dangerous. I understand that driving a tow truck can be stressful, but there is no excuse for this kind of intimidation on the road. I wouldn't trust a company that allows its drivers to behave this way. read more

One of the drivers almost took my bumper off when attempting to merge into my lane. When I stopped to transfer info, I was met with aggression and profanity. He didn't even have a signal light on and was on his phone as he was trying to bully his way into traffic. My daughter is LEVEL 3 on the spectrum and NON-VERBAL. All I can think of is how bad this could have been being that she can't properly communicate her needs. Attempted to speak with the owner and told him that the yelp reviews have instances that are similar to mine WITH THE SAME TRUCK. However, I was met with insensitivity and a monotonous tone. The owner says he does read reviews but I certainly hopes he understands the severity of his tow truck driver's negligence before someone loses a loved one. A quick trip to Lake Charles was delayed only 2 hours recently after the superb response and service we got from HUB towing in Houston. As we were calling Emergency Assistance (and told they couldn't help us as we had actually pulled off 290 in a safe place and there fore didn't qualify because we weren't on the road), a Harris County deputy passed, called in car needing servicing and HUB towing were in the vicinity and came to our rescue. We had a tire that not only had a nail but also a gash - down went the air pressure and there we sat needing help. We were towed to Discount Tires about 5 miles away, bought 2 new tires and away we went. Thanks HUB Towing!! read more

first time using a third party for towing. after being stuck on the road for an hour waiting for AAA roadside assistance I started to look for someone else. I was hesitant at first due to their ratings but they were the only ones available with short notice and promised they would be here quick. took them about 20 min and they had my camry loaded in no time. Drivers was brad I think, can't remember but he was a sweet older gu. Should have his license taken away for good. He pulls up behind me with my completely full truck to exit a parking lot on highway 3. Immediately does a 8 second honk which does nothing to me since there are cars coming I don't want cut off especially because I can't accelerate at a safe speed with all the cargo I had in the bed of my truck. He goes unsafely around me as I was moving up to go. Then speeds in front of me while cutting off two cars in the closest lane to us. They have to switch because he was not near their speed. I honk at him. He runs away and flees until I catch him at the feeder before he gets on 45. Took picture then. Seems to be same truck and driver from all the other bad reviews. Think he would get the hint about how the world doesn't revolve around him of his ego. Spoke with someone who was very apologetic and wanted to get to the bottom of it. Told him about the yelps reviews is probably same driver. Sent him photo of truck to his cell phone. Called me back to apologize again. read more
