He did quite a bit of gardening work for us to remove ivy and ground cover, then added yards of small stone to areas where we didn't want vegetation. We were so pleased with how hard he worked & how thorough he was and how reasonable his pricing was, that we hired him for some landscaping as well. He designed a fantastic tiered garden, using some existing stones from a collapsed retaining wall, and adding layers of stone pavers. Then suggested several low-maintenance flowering plants and added several yards of mulch to it all. It has completely changed the look of our backyard -- just gorgeous! We have met neighbors for the first time, who have stopped after the addition of the landscaping, to compliment us on what an improvement it offers! So since he did this I will tell what transpired. I asked him if he could cut shorter after he completed the first cut. My family and neighbors agreed that it did not look good. However, I did not tell him that because I did not want to offend him. This was right after cut. I nicely texted him and asked if next time he could go shorter. He said ok. He then texted me on the day of the next cut and I just reminded him by saying ok thx and short. I then received a text he sent to someone of a screenshot of our conversation calling me a Stupid C --t. I told him that he sent the text to me " obviously by accident". I clearly was offended and it was completely unwarranted. Of course then stopped my service with him. I now just received a long text from him saying derogatory statements about me for texting him those two brief request. He said I was ignorant, rude, and disrespectful by me asking him about it being shorter. Claimed the two text were continuous (lying) only the two and one like I said was a reply to him and not even a sentence. He then proceeded to tell me to pick up my dog shit because he is a professional. Mind you I have an extremely small back yard with three dogs. I never met him in person. He would let me know roughly the day and then on that time he was coming. This was done when I was at work. Again, only twice. The only reason twice is because he did the lawn the second time before I saw his crass text.I never dealt with this kind of behavior from someone not only works for a business, but a family owned business. He needs to get his anger in check. I hope he does not continue to harass me.

We were referred to Peter Burke of Gaelic Clover Landscape Design by our landscaper. As we entered…read moreour final phase of landscaping which had (eventual) patio elevation, sun/shade areas differences and drainage concerns, we needed someone that could tie these along with the deer and pests present in our neighborhood into something that would not only be beautiful but grow and flourish. We realized we needed someone familiar with all these factors and the characteristics of shrub, tree, and "pests" we would ultimately consider. Our initial visit was more extensive and detailed than expected, and we knew we had found someone that could overcome the challenges we faced. After review of the project scope and our tastes, which included some Japanese/Oriental plants and shrub considerations, we began the process of viewing and analyzing dozens upon dozens of plants, shrubs and trees. As a result of our meetings and changes, Peter designed a backyard patio and surrounding gardens that were beyond our imagination. We have come to realize that since the project was completed in early June 2022, his knowledge of plant sizes, spacing, bloom times and colors has truly become apparent. While meeting and indicating "Yes, we like that, and that would work...," it wasn't until we have been living with the results of his vision and brilliance that it solidified just how talented he is. The various shrubs and perennials (we did not plant annuals) have begun to bloom and display colors throughout the summer season and have been a true joy. We cannot wait for the fall foliage to reveal itself. The watering and care we have shown has allowed us to witness the growth firsthand and has left us in awe of just how beautiful it looks. I will preface this review with the fact that I had the opportunity to use Jason and Carlos last year for the same functions ... quite varied ... all done with exceptional vigor. First let me tell you about their work ethic ... they are working during these challenging times and are most respectful of your space. They will arrive with gloves and masks if you require with not question .. these two are a class act. They are polite, they listen to your needs/requirements for the job, they take a moment to assess your request and then based on their experience (side bar, these are recent college grads with an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye to quality and demeanor of exceptional customer service and while only recent grads, they have been providing well rounded services to our community for several years! ... OK let's get back on track); and get back to you with a more than reasonable quote. They are honest and upfront with scheduling so as not to disappoint, they show up on time and as a matter of fact, they provide a courtesy text announcing that they are on their way with an estimated time of arrival. They may list several services and odd jobs, but let me tell you about mine ... just so you have a sense of what is available that these young men will provide. I have had them power wash and scrub a paver patio, empty heavy flower boxes, fill flower boxes, plant a garden, weed entire gardens, lay weed fabric and cover with mulch, dig up plants (large and small) and move to other areas of the garden, provide clean up services when they are done and I a host more. Bottom line, if you need a couple of trustworthy handymen to take care of odd jobs that you simply can't get too or frankly are not strong enough to do yourself anymore ... call these guys ... give them a chance to win your business.
