I made an appointment for changing regular tires to snow tires, both sets are on rims. At my appointment 15 minutes early and was told to give them 2 hrs as they are very busy. Came back in two and my car was not yet started, saw them pull my car in and three other cars, all three gone and they have not pulled the summer tires off of the car yet. At 3hrs and thirty minutes. 11am appointment for rims and snow tires, 12:30 and the car is still in the parking lot. I check in and am told they haven't started the job and have no idea when they will start or be finished. I politely reminded them the appointments was for 11am, the manager angrily said well we took that appointment 2 weeks ago before we were short staffed. I reminded them I called yesterday to confirm the appt., and asked why they wouldn't have rescheduled at that time if they anticipated or needed to delay due to staffing? Got no answer. I understand being short staffed, I also understand being busy but it's important to communicate with customers regarding delays, it's also important to be polite. read more

A few.onths ago I had tires put on my Jeep, there was an issue with a couple of lug nuts and one stud, so I thought. At that time I was told a check would be sent to cover the cost of the damage, NEVER RECEIVED!!!! I am now having to do brakes on my Jeep and 6 out of the ten lugs and studs are damaged. I'm writing this, not looking for a solution, because none would be acceptable, since your credibility is non existent. Between the shotty workmanship of the Littleton store and the false promises by customer service, nothing would make it right. Probably the worse company ever. Town Fair Tire is one star in my book. I'm still stuck with their service due to a set of snow tires I purchased last year. Last spring, I wrote my review about the service lacking detail, and frustration with getting hit up for another $40 for balancing. I actually received a phone call from the manager after posting that review. He apologized and said he would send me a check for $60 for my troubles. The check never came but I wasn't surprised. I just got my snow tires remounted. All seemed well but they didn't honor my request to keep the rims on the same side of the vehicle. I had to wait another hour to get it fixed. Also, new scratches were found on the rims after close inspection. There is still a lack of detail at this store, and a clear disregard for the customers property. I need another set of snow tires for a different car, and I will be looking elsewhere. read more

Took our Subaru in to get the winter tires swapped for all-seasons. Guy walked out and looked at the car, ran his hand over one tire and announced I needed an alignment. Odd since an alignment was done four months earlier. Guy pushed for the alignment several times but I declined and only had the winter-all-season swap done. Got home to check the tire pressures and one tire was almost 60 psi - not the required 32 psi. Also had the car at the dealership a little after that and asked them to check the alignment. Two years ago I purchased tires from a competitor of the Town Fair in Littleton, NH. Last November, I decided to also purchase snow tires. When I went to that competitor, there was 1 person working at the desk, and a line waiting to speak with him. When I finally got to speak with him, he was rude, and said it would be at least 2 weeks to make an appointment. So I headed over to Town Fair. The person I spoke with at the desk was very knowledgeable and very professional, and ultimately recommended some snows and rims that seemed like a very good deal. They do have a large selection of tires, so before purchasing, I went back home and researched them on the Internet, comparing them to others. I made an appointment for the next day for the purchase and installation. Winter is over now, the snow tires worked superbly compared to the all season tires, and I had my free changeover yesterday. Again, very good service. I will always purchase at Town Fair in Littleton from now on. read more

They did not fill all tires with the same PSI, and they did not relearn all my rims so now if I have a low tire I have to try to figure out what one it is to put air in it. Winter came early in New England this year. As a working single mom juggling schedules for myself and 2 teens, I was caught after the first storm sliding around the roads in town. When I heard another storm was coming in a few days later, I was in a panic- Walmart was out of studs (for the tires) and my tire size (Walmart??!! Isn't that where tires come from?) and VIP laughed at me when I asked if there was any availability to get snow tires on before the storm. Out of desperation, I took the day off work and dedicated myself to calling all the tire stores in the area and being ready to drop everything on a dime to zip over if they could take me. Most places didn't even pick up the phone- until I called Town Fair Tire. Even though I waited in queue for a few minutes, they didn't disconnect and I spoke to an actual person who told me to come in. The place was mobbed even at 8am and they had just given away their last 'walk in' slot. But Lukas was able to expertly juggle the schedules to nip me in (if I could wait there for a few hours- which I happily did). I can't tell you the relief I felt when I knew I'd have snow tires on my vehicle for safely driving my kids that night to the musicale that I'd purchased tickets for weeks ago at the Flynn. I'd have eaten the tickets (250$) if I couldn't get snows on (since the storm was due to come in that night and we already had snow from the last storm on the roads). Fitting this critical safety chore into my never-ending list of responsibilities had me in a panic. Lukas Ireland and his team expertly managing work time like a Six Sigma Blackbelt and his willingness to help regardless of how swamped they were showed me that I was more than just another billable invoice to them. When EVERY other tire place was turning people away and blaming them for not being prepared for the storm in advance (because we know exactly when the snow is coming, right??), Town Fair Tire Center treated me like a person and a priority when they didn't have to.
