Awful! They can't even open the doors on time. It's 8:15am as I type this and with posted hours being 8:00-6:00.

This branch has been consistently bad for several years. The new carrier for the neighborhood has been good. I have been a victim of I.D. fraud even had an Income Tax return check not delivered, but fenced at a tire shop in Tampa. I have a locking mail box and it seems that when a "fill in" carrier delivers the mail, they can't make the effort to put the mail ALL THE WAY IN THE BOX. I don't understand how I continue to have the same problem for 13 years! read more

I'm writing this review to thank Stacy for all her help, she was very patience, welcoming and kind, she helped me fill out forms that I needed to complete before sending my package. I was there on Saturday 02/03/24 and arrived when they were about to close (which I apologized for),the process took about 20+ minutes and even though it was pass 1:00pm she kept a great attitude and was very understanding.Stacy and Ebony were very helpful and nice! The only reason I'm rating 4 starts is because there was another lady who's attitude was the worst. read more

The postal service at this Post Office has helped me tremendously. I've made several mistakes and thankfully the female postal Service Worker has educated me and explained several different mistakes that I made. She even sent me home with a package to redo, because the information was wrong on the box. I appreciate every bit of information that I've gained because as I told her, I'm getting better, more knowledgeable, and I'm making less mistakes in packaging and selling items while I downsize my home. I recommend this Post Office. Sure it is small and sure the Postal Service People are working hard to serve us and the lines are long, but that goes to show that this post office is much needed and these people are working for us the best that they can. I had one good experience here and got too excited. I never had that experience again. The majority of workers here hate their jobs. You ask for several free envelopes for shipping and they act like they are giving you gold and try not to give you any. Is it so hard to give great customer service? This is one of the last jobs in America that offers good pay, benefits and retirement, yet the workers are slow and unhelpful on purpose. They can even be nosey and judgmental. If the US post office wants to stay in business they really need to accommodate people who want to use the service. Instead you get the stereotype government worker who is reluctant to help you. Why does it have to be this way? Then they wonder why there are layoffs and private companies come in and cheapen the job even more. Walk into a post office and you'll see signs about using mail instead of email. However I ask for a shipping box and I'm told "you know you need to order these online because we don't have a lot of them." You order online and it takes well over a month to get what you need. There's a reason people like me have preferred UPS for many years. UPS gives you their free supplies without question because they want your business. USPS (post office) needs to step it up instead of always raising postage fees. read more

I know service at any Post Office is usually slow, but this location seems slower than most. It doesn't help that the location is really small. Whenever it's crowded, the line can easily go out into the common area/entrance/drop off area. I would recommend doing as much as you can online so that all you have to do is drop off your mail. The parking lot is also pretty cramped and awkward so be careful moving around it. This post office is right across the street from the Town N Country Public Library. read more

This post office is close to my house & across the intersection from the Town & Country library, so it's incredibly convenient for me. That said, if I need counter service, I'd rather go to the airport branch. The service here can be slow - they don't have enough staff later in the day, which seems to be a peak time from my experience. But, all of the employees are friendly & helpful! My fave feature here is the stamp machine. Maybe all branches have them by now, but this one has been here for years, long before even the airport branch. And, like many other branches, the lobby is always open, so I can stop in for stamps at any time & avoid the crowds. Their mailbox pickup time is quite a bit earlier than their counter hours, so don't count on your mail getting out the same day if you use the box later in the day. I think it's 4 or 4:30pm, but I'm not sure. Just a warning. read more

The reason USPS is having such a hard time maintaining a presence in today's society is because the customer service is total garbage. I had a package I had to return, and the original box still had a barcode. I was afraid to tape the label on it and mess things up. I was instructed that I had to purchase a whole roll of tape for a single closure. Any other shipping company helps ensure the labels are correct and offer a single piece of tape. Four dollars isn't a big deal, but it's the principle of service. I would rather drive back to my house and package it up than give a single cent to people who are more worried about 5 cents of tape than their customers. The only reason I'm using USPS at all is because the company I need to return a product to requires it. read more

I am so tired of getting other peoples mail and constantly calling and complaining and getting no where with these people at the post office. I have gotten other neighbors medications, tax documents, financial statements, and bills so pretty important stuff. Now I find out one of our important documents that is time sensitive was returned because the mail person put it in the wrong mail box. I am really angry. read more

I arrived at 9:15am and was immediately greeted by the first postal representative. When I explained my dilemma, forwarded my mail from Ohio to an incorrect address, I was directed to Moe, who had me complete new forwarding information. He not only helped, he went above and beyond to track down 2 packages that were scheduled to be returned to sender. While I was waiting Daniel stopped to make sure I was being taken care of. I am dismayed by poor maintenance at this station-the area around parking lot has not been weeded in years -the small grass area is not mowed on regular basis -I feel a US government building should be maintained at a higher level -other businesses seem to be able to maintain their properties at a higher level. read more

Every time I come to this office they are understaffed. Like today there are 11 people in line and only 1 person working at the counter. You could hear at least4 or more working in the back, but no one else comes to the front to help. Customer service is the worst at this location. read more

I mailed a package from this post office on May 12, 2021, sent it prority mail and they told me it would be delivered May 15, 2021 to a residence in Glen Allen, Va. It was never delivered and the status says its still in Florida on the May 26th. There seems to be no reason the post office can give me for the package still being here. Don't trust them to send your mail. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Horrible customer service. When you call in the employees sound annoyed, as if it is too much of an inconvenience to do their job. I recently moved and still have packages sent to my parents house. I had a package sent there and USPS decided to send it back to the sender (amazon) instead of the address on the package. I called in to correct this and the employee stated he would give me a call back and he never did. I called the next day and a Carol or a Karen answered and told me that there is nothing she could do because the package was already in route to go back to Amazon. She stated to contact them. I contacted Amazon and was informed to contact USPS because (she lied or didn't bother looking) they actually did still had the package. I called USPS customer support number and was able to set the package up for pick up at the town and country location ( the same thing she should have been able to do the first time I called). If you need help and didn't want to be spoken to rudely and actually want your issue resolved call the customer support line instead. 1-800-222-1811. Don't bother with the Town and Country employees, they lack basic manners, are lazy and a waste of time. read more

Not much to say, its a post office, they do work here. There are always long lines when I come here but they usually have a bunch of people working at the counters to get people through those lines as fast was possible. I try my best to skip the line and just go to the one kiosk they have here. Usually that can get me what i need but sometimes I have to go to the line. The US postal service offers some nice things and as long as the prices stay reasonable and competitive ill keep coming here. read more

I had a package delivered to my mailbox that should not have been as it was stuck due to being too large for the mailbox, please note that 2 feet below my mailbox are larger boxes specifically for delivering packages that don't fit in the regular mailboxes. I tried calling the post office for an HOUR but no one answered except once when they immediately hung up on me without saying anything. I called another post office near by to see if they could assist but unfortunately I am not in their delivery area but they did say it was weird that they were not answering the phones and gave me a secret phone number (I was told to not tell who gave it to me) and that they should definitely answer that phone. Not only did they still not answer that phone but that was the line I got hung up on. I have finally gotten my package after finding the mailman delivering the mail at the mailboxes but I should not have to stalk our mailman to get my mail, they should have used the appropriate mailbox in the first place. I would like to say this post office has the worst customer service I've ever seen but I'm not sure they even have a customer service department at this point. Annoyed is an understatement for how I feel after wasting my morning on something that should literally be as simple as stopping at my mailbox. read more

Kim absolutely saved this review. My partner messed up ordering a package and it went to a house down the road. We attempted to retrieve it but couldn't. After contacting this usps Kim had the drive who dropped it off swing back by and grab it she called me told me to just come pick it up tomorrow. Fast forward 24 hours later I get there and the First Lady didn't even give me a chance to explain myself she just asked me for my address and sent me to the Hillsborough location. Hillsborough told me it was at town and country location. I drive back and Daniel tells me I'm going to have to wait till 8am for his manager to look for the package even after I explained the situation to him gave him kings name and the instructions she provided me I almost went home but something told me to call. So I callled and thank god I got Kim who told me it's at the town and country location and she's got it in there. It was literally right behind Daniel the same shelf I asked him to check. Absolutely terrible service on behalf of Daniel and the other woman. But Kim thank you so much if you see this absolutely amazing!!! read more

Ok so I have just had the BEST experience at the post office. I walked in and there was a line but the worker came from behind the counter and made sure I didn't purchase tape for my box because Priority mail uses its on tape. He then sealed my box and got it ready for shipping as I completed the address label. I was in and out in less than 5 mins. Appreciate his service and kindness because I was prepared to wait in line. read more

Since Maggie has been re=assigned we have had the worst mail delivery ever in my entire life or at least the 19 years I have lived here. Today the mail carrier not only did not pick up my mail, he drove past my house with my flag up and in clear view of the street. Management should be fired for letting carriers get away with this kind of service. I have tried to call your branch and you don't even answer the phone: on many days I get someone else's mail and I have to deliver it. I wish I had something positive to say about this post office, but unfortunately I mailed two post cards for my daughter in Germany and she never got them, a letter to a former teacher in Cuba had a similar fate (since the Cuban postal system is not dependable, I give them the benefit of the doubt in that case) and, finally, I mailed an envelope for a friend in Miami last Tuesday (1/16), it was supposed to arrive on Thursday (1/18), but it hasn't reached its destination yet and I am writing this comment on 1/16 after closing time. read more

I ordered a new mailbox. After removing the old and installing the post I realized the mailbox was broken. So I left a note for the mailman that I was waiting for a replacement mailbox. My medication was supposed to be delivered around this time. I called express script after not having my medication for three weeks and they said the post office said it was not deliverable but they had the correct address. It appears to me the mailman was not willing to get out and put it by my doorstep. read more

Have been calling this post office for almost a week now and NO ANSWER. Phone just rings and rings and then hangs up. I ended up having to call USPS Customer Service to file a complaint to consumer affairs for this office not answering their phones. This is completely unacceptable!! We have had 5 things that were supposed to be delivered to us in the last MONTH and have yet to receive ANYTHING. According to tracking, the delivery was "attempted" and a notice was left. NO NOTICE in the mailbox. NO NOTICE on the door. Extremely frustrating that this issue cannot be fixed in a timely manner through the office because NO ONE WILL ANSWER. The customer service rep was more helpful to me in 15 mins than the last week with this office. This is unacceptable, ridiculous and VERY frustrating. Supposedly a package was delivered to me on Wed., April 26, @ 12.44 p.m. I never received it. I called the post office on Fri. and spoke to Brian, who said he'd look into it and call me back. I did not get a call. I went in to the post office on Sat. and spoke to Kim, who after checking, said she knew where it was (when I asked her where, she declined to answer) and that it would be delivered that day. I did not receive it. I called again on Mon. and the young woman to whom I spoke talked with Kim and that Kim said she'd call me back. I said I wouldn't hold my breath! Kim did not call me back. I went in to the post office again on Tues. and after I told the clerk what I was there for she said she'd have Brian come out and talk to me. I waited seven minutes when Kim came out and said Brian was going to try to find it. I said "you told me on Saturday that you knew where it was." She said she did but that it wasn't there! She said Brian was going to knock on the door today; I asked which door, and she said the door where it was delivered. This is not Chicago or L.A. or New York, so I cannot understand why it must be so difficult to track down a misdelivered package. read more
