Came there this morning to ship some stuff back home so I don't have to check my bag for my flight to Europe. This is the closest post office to my bank so it made sense to use this location. It's a smaller post office that's tucked away. Only two people working the counter. Like other post offices they sell shipping supplies. So was able to buy a book to ship some books home. Postal clerk was nice. But man, US Ground advantage is so expensive. It's no wonder folks use other services. If I had more time I would have shipped my pillow via UpS or FedEx. But limited time and I had to ship my books so $$ it was. Small parking lot. read more

Finding this place is half the battle or fun. It's located off of Church north of Henderson and behind Christ the King Dale Mabry. When you think you're heading to a dark alley behind the industrial building, you'll see the parking lot. Easy in and perhaps not not simple out. The wait can be long since it's small and can get busy. And the one postal clerk is talking to the other one who's logging out to head off somewhere. It's 9am and we have a slow line already. Today I dropped off prepaid labeled boxes and it took time to get the 3 people before me ... not everyone knows what and how they want to ship so expect delays when side bar labeling and looking up addresses etc by patrons. Yes. If they knew how to do it, they'd have sent it from home using a computer printer. But alas I had to dropoff so I bought stamps also. All in all it wasn't that painful but I felt time was standing still or going slow mo with the 3 people in front while 2 more showed up behind me. Parking lot was practically empty so beware when it's full. We've been here during the obligatory holiday mailing season and it moved but I'd say around the same pace. Happy shipping! read more

Ever since Fred retired, this place has gone downhill! Supposed to open at 830, get there at 825.....knock on the side at 840 and ask what's going on. Instead of the supervisor letting the line of 7 people in and helping them he says that they will be here soon and closes the door. I left at 850 without anyone ever opening the door! Fred knew the answer to every question and as long as you were polite to him, he was polite to you. Wish that he was still there! read more

This post office is one of my favorites to go to but I stopped coming here due to the customer service is a hit or miss. Some of the staff act like it's such an inconvenience that customers are there needing assistance ect. Theres usually a long line and wait of some sort. Lately, I've been seeing some new faces and it looks like they like their jobs and love helping customers. Hopefully it stays like that. read more

Always help me out with getting the best pricing for boxes whenever I need to ship somethin out. Post office customer service in my lifetime has been really hit or miss. I come to this location most of the time when I have a USPS need. Why? Because they have a self-service kiosk where I can buy postage to mail a package that is located in their 24/7 lobby. The line is usually short to use this kiosk. Parking is limited, but sufficient most times of the day (obviously during the holiday rush, there are lines and parking scarcer). read more

I've been using this Post Office for over 10 years. It can get busy and you may encounter a line for service, but over the years I've been able to count on at least one very tenured postal worker, who actually knows the correct answers, to be there during operating hours. It seems like an ever-shrinking group of the old school "USPS lifers" who have all of that critical knowledge in their brains that is generally learned over many years with the postal service, well, ... I won't worry until Fred retires. Speaking of Fred, I've seen reviews on platforms like Yelp saying less than perfect things about my buddy Fred, but I can't emphasize enough that he's a treasure. Does he smile constantly? No. Is he mildly sarcastic but also just a bit dry on the humor? Sure. Does he know the answer to every possible question you could ask? YES. And if you show him kindness and respect you might be surprised what you get back feeling this super awesome man. We should all commonly focus on saving USPS and hope the next generation of postal workers cares as much as the folks they are replacing. read more

Bad customer service. I send around 50 packages per year. Only once I didn't take a pic of the tracking number with my cellphone and my package was lost. They aren't trained to look for the tracking number on a computer and they have no interest in assisting a client. I have the date, time and more information of this transaction.I have gone to this office three times to look for help and they always find a different excuse. If you loose your tracking number you can't get help over the phone. read more

I went back a few days later and was taken care of by Jessica Santiago. She was fast, friendly, and professional. (Not to mention she had hairstyle -- coloring and length -- of a woman I had been engaged to about 35 years ago in Argentina. Unfortunately, she was practically a communist so she decided the USA was not the place for her and flew back to Argentina. We were both quite bummed about that, but oooh, the memories!) I mentioned the YELP reviews to Jessica, and how apparently an employee named Fred was not a very popular person there. She informed me that Fred was no longer there, but also pointed out that his sign still was. Believe it or not Jessica Santiago was now using Fred's station. I was so surprised I took a photo. Anyway, apparently the sullen personality-less employee I got the first time I visited this post office rarely works there. The staff on this day were all very funny and friendly. Basically writing a YELP review of a post office is pointless because the staff changes all the time, but so far, out of the 6 people I've seen working there, 4 have been great, 1 was a jerk, and the other was not overly friendly but seemed nice enough. And he had the cool name of Whispy Brown. I wasn't wearing my glasses when I read his name tag so I thought his name was Whisky Brown at first -- which would have been cooler -- but still, Whispy is a cool enough name. I'm writing this review for this location because this is the address of the post office that is on the letter I received three times, I can't find the 3rd letter) I'm very confused about it. I have never physically went to this location. My name is Tiffany Kirkland I recently moved to my current address in 11/17/23 I have been struggling with changing my address. I went to the postal office located in palm springs FL, lake Worth FL, and Miami, first time I went to lakeworth location I also picked up my mailbox keys, I showed them my lease and my driver's. A few days later, I received a letter saying I need to go to the post office and show my ID, which I already did when I went initially,okay...so I went to the palms springs location, presented my lease and my ID, with change of address form, a few days later, I got the same letter in the mail, again saying I need to come in and show my ID, so I went to Miami location post office, showed my ID again... I received the same letter in the mail,I don't understand why I keep getting letters saying I didn't have my ID when I presented each time, I never had this much problem changing my address, im not sure if this is some kind of joke, but I can only assumed it's because of lack of training or intentionally. Meanwhile I probably won't get my W-2 so I can file my taxes or any toll charges that I may have I have been trying to contact places on my own to change my address manually, it's been three months now and still no address change. read more

Took a package in for mailing and a worker named Xavier waited on me. He was incredibly rude and short-tempered. Complained about having to deal with customers! Uh, buddy, that's your job. Anyway, he weighed the package and instead of attaching the meter postage strip, he pulled stamps from the drawer behind him and affixed those on the package. Which means there was no tracking number. I questioned it and he said that's how they decide to do the postage sometimes. And wouldn't you know, the package NEVER arrived to the person I shipped it to. Shady, shady, shady. Best to go to the UPS store if you want your packages to be tracked and delivered. read more

I have been to this USPS location several times and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I prefer coming to this location because they have convenient hours and plenty of parking. They are one of the few USPS locations nearby that are open until 1 pm on Saturday. This is extremely helpful when you need to send out a package on the weekend. read more

This is a pretty great location in south Tampa. Yes, the lines can sometimes be long, but it's the Post Office! Parking is limited so try to arrive when the location opens or closes. I highly avoid going around lunch time. As long as you are prepared, know what services you require, and have things packaged correctly (go to their website), it's a breeze. read more

I've been having issues with my local post office for some time now. Several packages and pieces of mail have been returned to sender or lost in the mail. It seem that the mail carrier for my route seems to have some problem with delivering certain pieces of mail like my new bank card which the post office claim was unmailable to my address, but every day I receive an email telling me what comes in the mail and it was done intentionally. Standard post office. It's pretty small but the workers are all really helpful and it's usually not too busy, which is a plus.

They treat you like a sub-human creature and don't care to listen to you at all. Had to ship irregular items and had to read the warning options but the man just kept demanding to tap whatever he said. This is a great USPS location. I have been here several times and have always been in and out with no to minimum wait time; I've never seen more than 3 people in line at a time. They have several stations, and usually have at least 2 people up front working. The USPS workers that I have encountered have been very friendly and helpful. I missed the building the first time I went by; it is on the backside of a nondescript building on Church St. where people are always loitering and smoking out front. Just turn on Morrison to drive around to the back where there is plenty of parking and the USPS entrance. read more

I've never loved an office before this post office. Everyone is so nice! The boxes I need are always stocked, super clean, even when the line is hellish, it's not painful to be there. There are people working at a post office smiling, revel in it. If you have to run errands and one of your stops is there, enjoy that little chunk of peace and calm. read more

The workers don't want to be there, are very slow & when there is a long line, they feel free to go on break, go work on something in the back, etc... when the us postal service goes out of business, it will be because of employees like these. Conveniently located close to my daughter's daycare, I stop by this facility often. Staff is wonderful and have been there for years. The only drawback is that they often only have two people working the counter and the line is often very long. If you are in a hurry, be prepared to wait in line. read more

The poor level of customer service continues to amaze me. The folks at the counter are generally polite and good at what they do, but for some inexplicable reason there are never enough of them at the counter. What is the trigger for them to come from "the back" and take a position (one of five by the way) at the counter? I think they are watching on CCTV from "the back." I'm embarrassed to admit I take guilty pleasure in their tactics. My favorite is when the line has backed up with several people and only one attendant -- offering insurance, proof of delivery and a receipt with link for a survey (please rate me a five!) while a co-conspirator comes from "the back" and feints the process of logging in to their register. A person in queue then responds with their own feint - a move towards the station in a futile attempt to guilt them into actually logging on only to be told "I'm not open, I'm getting blah, blah, blah." The customer retreats back to their space at the top of the line accepting several approving glances, nods and back taps from the rest of the soon to be stamps.com new customers. What the $@/; are they doing in the back? For chrissakes - it's all about speed. You can refer to us a meth faced mo$&:;"#%f^+ ers if we spend less than 3 mins in the place.
