I recommend this hotel to anyone who is cruising out of cape canaveral. The hotel staff is awesome and so helpful when it comes to navigating transportation to and from the airport and to and from the cruise port. I specifically worked with Nathaniel on numerous occasions and he is awesome! Wicked helpful, very nice and has an answer for everything! We had an issue with our AC and he immediately had fans for us until maintenance could fix it, which happened in less than 20 mins. They also allowed an early check in on arrival day back from the cruise, which was amazing considering how exhausted we were. I could not wait to shower and sleep. I reserved a one night stay in order to be closer to the cruise port. Location and proximity to cruise port is great! There's many restaurants and food places within walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant onsite as well. Checking in was easy and fast. Upon checking in, the clerk acknowledged my status with Bonvoy. I was given a gift bag which contained two water bottles, a bag of chips, a couple pieces of chocolate, and a granola bar. That gesture was well received and appreciated. The lobby is extremely spacious with many seating areas. The restaurant is located in the back area. The coffee station is located across from the restaurant/bar, along side the hydration station. There are hydration stations located on the 1st and 5th floor. I think there might be a hydration station located on the third floor as well. The pool is located in the back of the building. There's also a separate seating area across from the pool. The area is like a lanai or extended porch seating with a fire pit and an unattended bar. I stayed in room 221 on the second floor. The room was nicely decorated in neutral colors. The room included a kitchenette with a dishwasher, refrigerator, two burners, a microwave, paper towels, dishwashing soap and a sponge, and all utensils and cooking wares. On the kitchen counter were two small water bottles, coffee, and teas. Across from the kitchenette is a spacious bathroom with shower tiled in the herringbone pattern. The floors are laminated wood. The bed is a king bed coupled with four pillows. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were not very comfortable. The room did have a smell that felt unpleasant to me, but after being in the room, I wasn't bothered by the smell. The water pressure was good. The television worked perfectly. There's laundry rooms located on floors 3 and 5. I used the washing machine and dryer in the 5th floor, and they worked great. I purchased a single load detergent for $2. Overall, I would stay here again. I liked the convenience, I liked the recognition for being a loyal member, I liked the room and how fresh and clean everything looked after three years. FYI: cruise transportation is available at about $11 per person until about 12:30. For those who stream videos, the apps on the television worked as well. Washing machine and dryer costs $2 each. So I stayed here on my visit to Florida and it was a good visit. The Breakfast thats served in the morning was delicious, and the bar thats in the hotel that serves food was also good. The pool and the hot tub also helps out and adds to the overall experience. Looking forward to staying here again. read more

As a Marriott Bonvoy Member Town Suite Marriott in Cape Canaveral was different to my stay in Spring hill suite Marriot.  Both are walking distance apart from each other.  The experience is night and day.  Upon check in, I was greeted and welcomed.  Went to my hotel room which by the way looks like a one bedroom apartment.  Fridge and Sink accommodations were provided.  The front desk host forgot to include my complimentary waters when I checked in. I went downstairs and asked for my complimentary waters bottles, cased in a paper gift bag.  When I opened up the water bottle gift bag, One of the water bottle has already been opened.  I did not want to make a big stink about it because I only needed one.  Never the less, the front desk person was very nice and friendly.  That is reckless thought to serve someone a water bottle already open. The thing I noticed was the Breakfast comparison to the Spring Hill suite location.  Not much selections in comparison, just Limited.  It is just an okay breakfast.  I cant see myself eating the food provided in a consecutive daily basis.  Overall, it is tolerable for a short stay not for a long stay.   "Can't complain if it is free complimentary breakfast daily though' The reflection of 1 person made me rate  this hotel as an average stay scale.  One person that was rude that stood out with all my peers.   A Female bartender by the name of Frankie or Tracy ( I believe that is her name) her demeanor is rude and unprofessional.  Her body language gives you negative vibes.  She rolls her eyes and speaks to herself when you order something.  For sake, she works at a hospitality host in the most prestige hotel corporation! She should not be acting this way.  There is no place for a person to be in this type of environment.  A lot of people wine down after work and head to the bar to relax.  "Unpleasantly disgruntled." Need to retrain. Overall 95% of the staff is professional and does a great job.  I would still recommend this place because this location is fairly new and close to all the Aerospace Locations.  "Very convenient." read more

PERFECT! From check in to check out. Spotless clean new property with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice warm pool and hot tub. Perfect pre cruise stay. Property is a short 10 minute ride to the port . The included breakfast buffet was just as good. Great variety of food options both hot and cold. Attention to detail was evident throughout. My only complaint is If you have a car, they charge you a $12 fee per night for parking. Great homage hanging in the bar area of "Jeanie" from the I Dream of Jeanie tv show. Cocoa Beach was the town where the show was based. read more

Loved this hotel. Super close to the port. It's only about 2 years old so everything is new. Rooms were spacious and clean. If I needed an extended stay this would be a good option for the kitchen and closet storage. The free breakfast was good and the lobby had fun activities like video games. Outside there was ping pong, cornhole and a pool. Would definitely come back. Oh and within walking distance to the manatee park. read more

This is my first and last time staying at this particular Marriott. I've encountered various air conditioning issues at other hotels, but this is the first time hotel maintenance staff have told me that their AC units will not run below 68 degrees. And although 68 is the lowest set point on the thermostat, my room never dropped below 69. I'm sorry, but for those who are heat sensitive, 69 degrees is simply way too warm while trying to sleep. I don't know why so many hotels fail to understand this. I get that they want to save money in energy costs, but they obviously risk alienating certain customers when their stupid energy saving policies are preventing guests from getting a comfortable night of sleep. I can't imagine that's a very profitable trade-off for them. At least with other hotels, maintenance staff have always been willing to unlock the temperature controls for me so that I can eventually get my room a bit cooler. But at this hotel, two maintenance employees have told me that isn't an option at all. I just wish they would inform their customers of this BEFORE they book so that they can make a more informed decision about which hotel they stay at. I absolutely would not have stayed here had I known about this AC issue. The hotel is also a total dump in other respects. For example, the rooms are very filthy and breakfast offerings are pathetic. This is definitely not the level of quality or service that I would expect from a Marriott hotel. Absolutely horrible. read more

This place is great! The rooms are very clean and the amenities are great too. Since they just opened a week'ish ago, the gym equipment is not all here, but they have an arrangement with their sister property just across the parking lot to use their gym. The breakfast set up is really easy and laid out to prevent long lines. They have a ping pong table on the back patio that guests can use (fun!), and an arcade came and a foosball table in the lobby. Needless to say, the owners did a great job with this property too. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, and the cleaning crew is on point every day. They take pride in this property and it shows. Also, each room has its own kitchenette, which is great because it give you an alternative to eating out every meal. If you're coming for a night, a week, or a month, I definitely recommend the Townplace Suites in Cape Canaveral. read more

This is a very nice hotel. It has a bar/restaurant on the first floor that may have slightly higher than expected prices but it is good. The service is always amazing even when they are busy. The front desk is always helpful and always in good spirits. The rooms are pretty nice. The ones with the full refrigerator, 4 burner stove and oven are great for longer stays. Slightly better than average hotel between Melbourne and Daytona for a single night stay. Room was at very end of 3rd floor and directly across from highway, you could hear big rigs. The floor is also not sound proof and it sounded like our 4th floor neighbor was moving furniture until midnight. Room was clean as was linens and towels. The small burners were not cleaned and had burnt on food. Clearly missed by housekeeping. Average rating overall. Needs additional prep and care to match the outside property look and feel. read more

I just stayed here recently for one night with my 2 kids and husband. I saw great reviews but unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to them. The room did not seem very clean and although I didn't see anything on the sheets, I was itching in the bed. The shower had a poor design - it leaked water out of the tub despite me pulling the shower curtains completely on both sides. Also, there was no hand held shower head so I struggled to wash my 2 young kids which I felt the need to after the plane ride and an itchy bed). The included shampoos and body wash were not one-time use products; they were in large bottles that gets refilled. The shuttle to the port was supposedly a good deal but they don't offer any car seats so we used cococay shuttle (I think that was the name). It was nice to have breakfast included but the food was subpar. Overall, this hotel did not live up got the Marriott name and I do not recommend it, especially for families with young children before cruising. read more

Staff is friendly but weird room issues. Doors close crazy slow, toilets are really low to the ground and tvs are always messed up. Room keys expired after a few days and infrequent housekeeping. Great breakfast and family friendly. read more

Cold showers with no door. No maintenance to fix problem no hot water issue. Parking is $12 per night, unacceptable for a town place suites. Breakfast was fake eggs. Not terrible but I expect more from Marriott. Rate wasn't worth it to me. I most likely won't be staying again. read more
