I brought my dog along and the hotel is dog friendly with a few attached fee . But he loved it too , he was very comfortable. If you are ever in the area or happen to pass through . Stop at Hyatt place you won't regret it .

The room was spacious but the floor was dirty with crumbs all over the place. Self parking is $20 for overnight. Some nice perks include free beer and wine every day at 5:30 pm and complimentary breakfast in the morning. We didn't get a chance to try their breakfast since we had to get up early to drive to Kennedy space center (which is about an hour away from the hotel) but we were able to get some beer and wine which was refreshing. The hotel has a nice swimming pool that overlooks the beach. Our son loved the pool so much that he didn't want to get out when it was time for dinner. We did try their restaurant, Ebb & Flow, for dinner to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my husband. The food was delicious but the service was really slow. Although it wasn't the staff's fault because they appeared to be very short staffed that night but it took awhile for someone to clean the table from a previous customer. Then we waited for almost 20 min just to get menus. I was able to get the manager to give us menus and she immediately placed our 4 year old's meal early so that we can look at the rest of the menu. The food came out even slower to where we had to ask the manager to put the food in to-go containers since our son was falling asleep at the table since it was almost 9 pm. The manager was very nice and apologetic. She even comped our drinks and appetizers. That was very nice of her. The hotel staff here are very friendly and hospitable. We were able to switch our check out time last minute since we're elite members from 11 am to 2 pm. We were running behind from coming back from Kennedy Space Center on the day of check out so it was nice of the staff at the front desk to be flexible for us. The hotel lobby smells amazing. Lamp in the room has a button on the floor that you can step on to turn it on or off. Very convenient. Evening tea in the lobby. Pots of detox, unwind, and relax blends of tea. Strong water pressure in the shower. The bathroom has a fan directly over the toilet but there's no way to turn it off. It runs 24/7. Shower head offers different types of settings, each of which are good for a great shower experience. Lots of lights in the room. Small refrigerator (larger than a mini fridge) and microwave in the room. There's a door sweep at the bottom of the room door which not only filters out residual light from the hallway but also makes it harder for someone to slide something under the door and try to break into the room. The "Do Not Disturb" sign is a magnet, but it is a bit confusing where it's supposed to go. I tried to stick it to the little piece of metal above the outside door handle, but apparently there is a metal panel outside the door directly underneath the room number Unfortunately it blends too well into the wall and missed it. However, I think it was housekeeping who was kind enough to put it in the right place for me. Pretty good number of outlets spread out across the room. Breakfast is pretty good. They describe it as continental, but I would describe it as a step above that. There's a pancake bar with a variety of toppings including strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. There's also a yogurt bar with chobani yogurt, granola, fresh fruit and slivered almonds. There's also offerings such as toast, English muffins, danishes, mini spinach frittata bites, mini muffins, bananas, oranges and apples. They also offer apple juice orange juice and fruit infused water as well as coffee and tea. They also have almond milk available for the coffee and tea which I appreciate. Even though my room was directly in front of the elevator it was a decently quiet stay. The only disturbance was some random banging against the wall from one of the neighboring rooms at various points during my last night. CONS: The elevator is a little bit confusing, even with the signage. To get to your floor you have to click the button that has your floor number plus the letter R (e.g., 5R, 6R). If you push the button that only has the number, you will not be able to get to your floor. Minimal counter space in the bathroom. No handheld wand to rinse off in the shower. Nowhere to hang hand towel at the sink. No bath mat. The hallways are musty and could benefit from some of that fragrance they use in the lobby. The TV turns off after about an hour. Not great for someone who likes to sleep with the TV on. Had to wake up every hour to turn it back on because I need background noise to sleep. It would be great if there was some way to disable the sleep timer. While I appreciate the outdoor shower that allows guests to rinse the sand off when coming back from the beach, they turn it off before 6:00 p.m. At very least it should be turned off at sunset because some of us want to soak up as much sun as possible. At the valet stand, there should be a sign informing guests that they have temporarily stepped away and when they will return so we are not waiting around wondering where they are.

The lobby is extremely spacious with many seating areas. The restaurant is located in the back area. The coffee station is located across from the restaurant/bar, along side the hydration station. There are hydration stations located on the 1st and 5th floor. I think there might be a hydration station located on the third floor as well. The pool is located in the back of the building. There's also a separate seating area across from the pool. The area is like a lanai or extended porch seating with a fire pit and an unattended bar. I stayed in room 221 on the second floor. The room was nicely decorated in neutral colors. The room included a kitchenette with a dishwasher, refrigerator, two burners, a microwave, paper towels, dishwashing soap and a sponge, and all utensils and cooking wares. On the kitchen counter were two small water bottles, coffee, and teas. Across from the kitchenette is a spacious bathroom with shower tiled in the herringbone pattern. The floors are laminated wood. The bed is a king bed coupled with four pillows. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were not very comfortable. The room did have a smell that felt unpleasant to me, but after being in the room, I wasn't bothered by the smell. The water pressure was good. The television worked perfectly. There's laundry rooms located on floors 3 and 5. I used the washing machine and dryer in the 5th floor, and they worked great. I purchased a single load detergent for $2. Overall, I would stay here again. I liked the convenience, I liked the recognition for being a loyal member, I liked the room and how fresh and clean everything looked after three years. Literally across from home is a Sprouts market which is a somewhat boutique type grocery store with "better" brands. Great to grab sandwiches, chips, and toiletries as wanted. You don't need to leave property. Also Walmart hidden to West and little items like Popeyes and Hooters easily walked within 5 minutes. The hotel continues to impress. Breakfast is most chain like and very boring. But it's included and you can make waffle or grab what appears to be powered type eggs and sausage patty. This would be a cool venue to have local vendor come in on weekend to offer specialty food, coffees or sweets at additional cost to visitors. It would be cool to share space for a couple hours to allow guests to experience the areas cuisine.

They have on the go breakfast and coffee is available at all times. I believe this hotel does not have a pool. They also have vending machines for snacks on the first floor.
