Fantastic service everywhere you look; from the front desk to the morning kitchen service, everyone was extremely friendly and willing to assist in any way to make the stay better than it already was. Situated very close (within 10 minutes) of Tulsa, this gem of a hotel is snuggled into the middle of a town called "Owasso" that the rest of the United States should emulate. You'll never find me staying in Tulsa again after finding this place. read more

We haver stayed at this TownePlace multiple times and have been very happy overall. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with towels, kitchen accessories and other essentials. The indoor pool area is decent size and clean as is the exercise room. We generally have our grandkids with us so along with the pool they really enjoy the morning breakfast bar and the large selection of TV channels. Breakfast include hot and cold cereals, a waffle maker, various egg dishes, sausage or bacon, yogurt, danish and other items. It's a great money saver. There is also a gas barbeque with an outdoor eaten area available for guests. The kitchenettes are great for simple food prep. There is also a washer/dryer facility on site. This TownePlace is really close to plenty of restaurants, shopping and other entertainment. It's next to a main highway, so access for travelers is easy. It's also a short drive to/from Tulsa International Airport. As hotels of this level go we are really happy with TownePlace Suites Owasso. read more

Marriott's Fairfield Inn provides real value in my opinion. However, a couple of recent trips made me appreciate this other Marriott brand. I chose TownePlace over Fairfield because it was less expensive--a shocker since the latter is supposed to be Marriott's entry level brand. I received friendly, helpful staff; a clean, updated and well maintained room; and satisfactory dry food breakfast options (breads, muffins, cereals). Since TownePlace is an extended stay brand I could have made breakfast in my room's full kitchen. We had a slight billing issue on checkout, which was satisfactorily remedied. I usually book directly with hotel properties and discovered that local staff may not see best pricing listed on Marriiott's BonVoy website. It's good to check pricing in the app first if you typically make a direct reservation or use the toll-free service. read more

Overall, I've had alright experiences here. I stay at this hotel for work, and I've had multiple different rooms with their own unique problems. One had ants EVERYWHERE. Another had fishy smelling water. And another just had weird stains on the sheets. Tonight, I headed up three hours to this hotel to check in again for my work week. A new worker that I've never seen before was helping me and would not let me check in since I was under 21. I understand policies and stuff, but she was so rude about it and I began to cry in the lobby because I didn't know what I was going to do for the night. My bosses called and she even knew I was there for work (which most hotels allow under 21 if you are working), but she could care less. She also said that she's "going out on a limb even trying to help me," and kept pushing that if I did even get checked in that I was "not allowed to party or have boys over." I'm sorry, but that's just inappropriate and terrible customer support. She's probably new and I understand she didn't want to lose her job, but if multiple other workers have checked me in before (since I was with a production), I hope she learns that these productions bring them a lot of money and that she's going to hurt the business. read more

This hotel is filthy and in disrepair. I was given a suite with qiestionable white stains on the furniture. Two non working televisions. And bare wires hanging from the a/c unit. This is the third time, and last time I will stay here. Time before, urine stains all over the shower curtain. Time before, another non working t.v. This time I also passed the same half eaten sandwich for three days in the floor of the entrance I was using. Any time I have dealt with the front desk staff, they have been kind and more than helpful with my concerns. However, my dealings with the manager were different. Upon expressing my concerns with the room, he became defensive, offering only excuses. When I said I would just call Marriott, he accused me of threatening him, resorting to calling me names, and THREATENING to have me evicted from the property. I stay with Marriott brand anywhere from 30-60 days each year, and this is by far the worst. Upon speaking with Marriott, I was assured this would be dealt with. I will still stay, as this is my favorite hotel brand. Pretty sad when the hourly staff are more professional than the manager. read more

The hotel was clean. So was the room. We have to find a place with a kitchen because food allergies. So it was nice to have. The pillows are nice but the mattress had such a huge dent in the center of it that my husband and I barely slept. We just kept rolling into it and couldn't stay comfortable. They have some nice smelling soaps and shampoos in the room but they were all busted off the wall mount and the Tub filled with water over the course of a shower and there were hairs stuck on the shower walls. They DO have breakfast but good luck eating a single thing there if you are a vegan or can't have gluten. Over all meh. We used our points to stay here so it's fine but ida been kinda miffed if we paid cash. read more

We were visiting family in Tulsa and decided to book this nearby location because Towne Place is one of my favorite Marriott brands. Check in for our reservation was so quick and efficient. The front desk clerk was courteous, helpful and cheerful. Our king suite on the 4th floor was a nice size with a pretty spacious closet for a hotel. I especially like that TownePlace Suites always has full size refrigerators. Both check in and check out were efficient transactions with no issues. We loved the look and design of our suite. The breakfast was pretty good. There wasn't bacon or sausage on the weekend that we were there but the breakfast potatoes did have ground sausage which was good. I definitely recommend this location and I would definitely stay here again. read more

Marriott has, by far, the best rewards program and some of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Because of that fact, if it's on my dime, I will always stay at a Marriott. Also, they are very consistent in hotel and staff quality. Even their "low-end" hotels are more than adequate. This is an "extended stay" place with a decent kitchenette. It is fully stocked with dishes and a dishwasher (with detergent). This is a lifesaver on long stays or with kids. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful to me. I have stayed at most, if not all, the hotels on Owasso and I definitely rank this one number 1! They are pet friendly, although their pet fee is a bit high. My only con would be...My work, for some reason, despite my many requests refuses to put me up here (thus the reason I've stayed at most all the other hotels in town). I'm not sure if it's lack of availability, pricing, or what but it would be nice for there to be a way to make that contract happen. read more

I'm not sure why it seems this particular hotel is so damn noisy... the miscreants who are residing in the surrounding rooms must have zero travel/hotel savvy... doors slam until after midnight... and it seems like I am always beneath Stompy McStomperson... loud conversations in the hallways... Inam here for work on an extended stay... I've changed rooms TWICE... the ONLY thing I asked for when I called was to please put me in the most quiet room available... I am working in the area and I'm up at 0430 and usually in bed by 2100... of course I don't get to sleep until well after midnight... I still cannot figure where Stompy is going to... I mean the room is what 12 x 14... WTF Stompy??? Are you doing P90X??? And the folks next door For god sakes everyone be aight!!! Stop shouting down the hall... Hotel is ok... going through some remodeling... a bit worn... The TownPlace in Laredo Texas was AWESOME and the Courtyards in Harlingen TX and Tacoma WA also very nice... come on Marriott get it together at this joint... read more

All guest be warned - Marriot allows each hotel to make up "policies" even though they never publish them and they do not put them on the hotel fact sheet. The Manger of this hotel is clearly lying to the Customer Service group as they keep telling me that is hotel parking when it is clearly street parking, across a public street from the hotel, that backs up to a bar. The hotel facts clearly say on site parking, but they would not check me in if I was on the site, only if I pulled out into the street to park in unmarked areas that are clearly visible as not hotel property on google maps. On wednesday of this week I had to go to the Crown Plaza to use the internet because the Fairfield internet was not working in albuquerque. On Thursday I had to go to a Hampton Inn up the road from the Residence Inn in Amarillo, TX becasue of no working TV's, on Friday I was denied reserved rooms becasue I expected the Towneplace Suites to honor the reservation as I made - complimentary on site parking. The hotel is also lying about hotel facts and locations. The page states Grand Lake is 23.5 miles away, and it is an hour drive minimum to get to Grand Lake from the hotel. Miserable, lying, cheats. The same vehicle that parked on site on Wednesday and Thursday at Marriot hotels was not allowed to park on property on Friday - they refused to let me check in unless I moved it first. Parking lot Nazi's at the Owasso, OK cheap ass hotel. I have more parking lot pictures. This was clearly discrimination. If it wasn't discrimination, then that means I can never go to that hotel again and find a trailer or anything else on the Marriot property. Seems to me if I find another trailer or large vehicle taking up more than one space then I can prove that this was discriminantion and I was singled out when I walked in. The problem here is a cheap owner made a decision to be cheap and not put in ample parking? How many spaces do they actually allow. The website states 90 suites, but they have less than 90 parkign spaces - before you even add in employee parking needs. If this owner of the Owasso TownePlace suites wasn't so cheap, and actually built and bunded a properly built hotel and business they would not have parking issues. I found this on the internet and stayed 12 Apr 2018 and then on 16 Apr 2018. I am a loyal Marriott customer. This is very reasonable priced, very clean, good free breakfast, in great location about 8-10 miles north of Tulsa Airport. All employees very nice. Many restaurants in area and very safe place to stay. Easy off highway and back on the next morning. No complaints from me, can't see why anyone would complain about it. I stay at many Ritz and high end hotels and the price of those are 5 to 6 times higher but not worth the huge cost. We recently spent a week in Owasso, planning and executing our daughter's wedding. This hotel was kind enough to set aside a block of rooms for our gusets for Thursday thru Sunday, but were extra-kind to allow us the reduced rate for the whole week!! The hotel is new and clean and the employees were friendly and kind. They conversed with us each morning at breakfast, and seemed genuinely interested in our wedding preparations! The room was great...spacious and clean, and all of our visitors were extremely happy with the accomodations. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone traveling thru the area. read more

Travelers with pets beware of this location. I booked my room through Marriott's pet friendly site to make the hotel took pets. After checking in the clerk so my wife and small dog enter the lobby. She quickly whipped out a pet form. The form informed us that we would have to pay $75 for our our 12 pound dog. We were only paying $95 for the room. I went back to the lobby to speak to the manager. I was told he was on vacation. I was told he would be given a note. I was also told I could checkout with no fees and find a new hotel. 7 PM after driving all day we stayed. The next morning my bill had the pet fee on it. I asked again for the manager. I was told he would be in at 9 and would call me. It has been 5 days and no call. This hotel should be removed from any pet owners list. I'm very disappointed in Marriott for not disclosing this fee online. read more

Staff's very accommodating of traveler needs: we were with our 1-yr old and needed a pack-n-play. They had it set already in our room with extra crib sheets in case we forgot our own. Next morning provided milk after the breakfast had closed so our little guy could make it irbil our next stop. Rooms are clean and complete with kitchenettes that are great when traveling with a family or during an extended stay. read more

If I could give them - ratings I would. Horrible. Let me start by saying that we are Marriott rewards members and have been for a number of years. Woke up from a long drive and went to turn the heater on and it didn't work. Called the front desk who told me to try turning it on from the unit (even though on the unit it said that it was controlled by the wall) and it didn't work. Was told to call back later if problem persisted(btw it was approximately 18 degrees by this time.) Was told that they would have maintenance come from Tulsa. When the maintenance man came at around 9pm (he was very nice) he stated that he had been in the hotel earlier that day and no one told him anything. He brought another unit or whatever it's called (forgive me I don't know the proper term) it gave him problems. Eventually he was able to fix it. After the heater situation it was nothing but problems after problems. I wanted to leave and go to a Hilton property which we are members of as well, but everything was sold out so we were stuck. We were to check out on Sat so I was counting down the days. Early Friday morning while my husband was at a conference, I received a called and was told we were being asked to check out for too many complaints. I was flabbergasted. How is asking for tissue because the cleaning crew didn't leave any or asking for sheets so I can make the bed since the didn't (after staying a week), or asking for a warm room in 18 degree weather too much complaining. We have stayed at many hotels and Airbnb's all over the world and have never been asked to leave. I went down to the front desk and talked to a manger(and I use the term loosely) who was very over the top and disrespectful. Then some lady that was with him was rude as heck. So before I forgot that I wasn't an ole school thug (just joking), I decided to end the conversation and write corporate. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. read more

Awful experience. Stayed with my husband and newborn. Comforter had stains all over. The room looked half finished we didn't have any extra toilet paper other than what was on the roll. Next the room had many damages broken dresser, lights from bulb flickering. Crumbs on the floor! I asked for new blankets they smelt awful! Breakfast was a nightmare the employees were coming in eating the breakfast so there was none left, cold coffee. They only refill the food maybe once and when you ask an employee about anything they act completely dumb founded. Will never recommend this place read more

I was recently there for a work assignment for 49 days. Many of my co-workers were there with me. The staff was very friendly, helpful and sensitive to us being there a long time. After we had been there a month, the owner catered in a dinner for us. It was so kind and very much appreciated. The staff is a 10 here. read more

Stayed here with my 2 adult sons when we traveled to my sister's funeral in Broken Arrow. We stayed in a family suite. My youngest son paid for the reservation. We got there from Iowa at 9 PM. When we checked into the room I went to use the phone to call down to front desk because the toilet was plugged. The first phone we tried to use in the LV didn't work. Neither did the phone in the first bedroom. Finally the third phone in the second bedroom worked. We needed someone to plunger the toilet. The front desk clerk showed up with a plunger and said we would have to do it ourselves she was only one on. The beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk was no help finding a restaurant that was open on a Sunday night. She kept apologizing saying "your in the Bible Belt" every place closes at 9 on Sundays except fast food joints. Finally after time searching on my sons phone we found Louies Bar and Grill. Excellent food and service and open until 11 PM. read more

If I could give this hotel a 0 Star rating, I would! Marriott should be ashamed to have this hotel under their name. They don't honor their reservations and they change their policies on a wim. We had made a reservation for several weeks here in advance and after arriving , they changed their policies and they wouldn't honor the reservation. Their website says they accept pets, however don't be fooled, they don't accept them when they don't feel like it. The manager was no where to be found, he had left the entire hotel in the hands of one employee at the front who had just started working there 4 weeks prior. The manager didn't answer his phone and never called back after several messages were left, including Marriot customer service who I spent hours on the phone with trying to figure out where we could stay. We sat in their lobby trying to figure this out for 3 hours....The hotel was also a mess, under construction, without any warning to it's guests. There are plenty of hotels in Owasso, Tulsa and the surrounding cities, I would AVOID this hotel go to any others! read more
