Stayed for 5 nights and would stay again honestly just for the gym. It was so nice, everything you could want. The machines were very unexpected but so nice. The pool was heated. Everything was clean. Breakfast was the most middle of line part, but still not bad at all. Water stations on every floor. Staff was helpful with our needs and wants. They even have appliances you can barrow. They had a sign of events happening near by and we actually went to one of the lights because of it!

Tea thoughtfully put together by front desk representative, Bob.

What a wonderful hotel experience! Upon check in, the front desk representative, Bob, greeted us warmly and told us to let him know if he could be of any help to us. He made sure to mention his name and was very personable and friendly. It was a great first impression. There is a salt water pool- what a delightful discovery!!! The hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and modern. Our room was immaculate and feels like home. We didn't have enough peppermint tea in our room. I went down to the front desk area to see if I could get another bag or two, and Bob went above and beyond! He came back with a platter with several tea bags, sugar and two cups of steaming hot water to save me the time of brewing it in our room. What delightful service! Management: take note- Bob is AWESOME! I highly recommend this hotel. We hope to come back!

If you like sleeping on an inner spring and no mattress feel than room 925 is your room. I was too tired to complain until end of stay but beware. Shower water pressure was real good and better it was hot quickly at all times of the day unlike other places we've stayed. There were other minor issues but they were taken care of promptly. If you needed something all you had to do is ask. Staff was awesome. My special requests were immediately taken care of I forgot which of our logins I used and the one that is configured no down no feathers wasn't but they accommodated me fast. People to call -all for Excellence - Ngo, John waiters Jim one of managers Susan who made sure we all had a place to enjoy dinners in hotel. Who went above in doing their jobs for a very large group. Driver to and from airport gave tips for where to eat and he was spot on.(I forgot his name might have been Chris) You don't want to see me after sleeping on feathers! My rating beds mattress rating 1 for comfort but 5 for making it down-free for me. Food was ok. Hotel Breakfast was real good, Lunch not enough sandwich options in the restaurant and the dinner - well chicken almost every night. The Hotel Bar served delicious drinks with generous pours. Having said that there are multiple excellent restaurants within .5 mile. From Indian -Dhaba Indian Bistro multiple friends said also was excellent, Steak, Salmon and Grouper at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant were excellent choices. favorite sides Asian Slaw and Wasabi Mashed potatoes. Louisianne's Etc. for Cajun was pretty tastey according to one of our group. Then Hamburgers and peanuts at the Five guys were filling too! So food could be found in walking distance. Never made it to Taza or Villa Dolce maybe next year.

It was a hospitable place where the staff was super nice and the layout for the place was super simple and straight forward. It was very hard to get lost here. The conference bought the food package and the first day was really good. The second day had burgers and perhaps it was because I got the last of the bunch, but it was kinda dry. It's ADA equipped and accessible. There is a hallway to the hotel rooms which is about a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of parking as well.

The hotel as a whole feels small with low ceilings and narrow corridors. Our double-bed-room was on the first floor off of the lobby. To our surprise, it had a 'full' kitchen in there, with a large fridge, stovetop, and even a dishwasher. I suppose people could stay for lengths of time here? We spent very little time in our room, apart from sleeping, so the only thing that got use was the bed. Oh and the bathroom/shower, which were clean but certainly outdated. Bed was just fine, not uncomfortable, but perhaps some new pillows are in order. We had a few items from the breakfast bar in the morning--subpar food but does the trick if you're looking to get your fill. They had everything from potatoes, eggs, and sausage patties to yogurt and cereal. Pros: Free parking for guests, including underground heated options. Front desk staff was very friendly. And I'd say the best thing about this hotel is the location, as it's right within a big outdoor shopping/restaurant center. Walkable to plenty of places down the street.

Date of visit: August 30, 2024 Room: 320…read more I am normally a Hilton person, but I had a free night through IHG and since we were just staying in town for one night for the Badger game, this was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the night. This Staybridge was relatively close to Camp Randall and the reviews through Yelp seemed to confirm that this was a good hotel. Unfortunately that was not the case. Finding the hotel and securing a parking spot in the lot was easy, and check in was relatively straightforward. The clerk was friendly and provided the necessary information efficiently. Nice that the pool is open 24 hours, not that we ended up using it. The clerk also referenced a note about there only being one bed; which is fine since I reserved a room with just one bed... After check in we entered the hotel and noticed a smell in the hallway that my husband likened to a porta potty. The smell did not get much better when we entered our room; it smelled stale, as though the room had been closed up for a long time and just recently placed back into service. Perhaps that was the case given the hasty patch job we noticed above the shower in the bathroom. Speaking of the shower, the pressure was decent, which surprised me given how much water was still coming out of the bath faucet while the shower was running. Points for using the refillable bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, but the bottles were not very full--good thing we weren't staying long! Also disappointing was how disgusting the fridge was. The outside of the unit looked like someone had shaken a can of orange Fanta, opened the can, and then walked away. Again, glad that we only spent one night here.

So, first, this is an older hotel. I brought my now adult kids here when they were about 5 or 6yrs…read moreold about 20yrs ago. The other day, I brought my 7yr old (yes, 19yr span between first and last child), for his 7th birthday. The room was nice, however, the shower only ran cold. Communicated with the from desk, they did offer to have me change rooms or send someone up. My son washed in the showers at the pool and I just took a quick cold shower because I stayed only 1 night and was home the next day. When I checked out, they offer to add extra points to my stay. Since it had been about 20yrs since my last visit, I did not recall the pool being saltwater. Perhaps it was not at that time. But, it is now. While some may state that this pool is for younger kids, which it is, I know my adult kids would have enjoyed seeing a pool that had more to offer than just a rectangular pool. There is an attached Italian restaurant, hotel bar and a small snack / bar in the pool area. My son chose chick-fil-a for his birthday dinner, so we did door dash vs. eating there.

There were plenty of tables and chairs around the pool area. We had a room with a king bed and bunk beds. I was a little annoyed because when I called the hotel before reserving, I was told the "room" with the bunk beds had a door, but it did not and it is actually only a 3/4th wall sectioning the bunk beds off. Nonetheless, it was still nice having the bunk beds in a separate area. We checked in on New Years Day, and while overall I felt the hotel was updated and clean, the hallways really needed vacuuming and there was trash sitting outside a few rooms for the duration of our 2 night stay. It was great having a restaurant attached to the hotel and the morning breakfast was great. All the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful! We also visited the Madison Children's Museum while we were there so that is a great option for families when the kids are tired of swimming!
