The staff works very hard to get people in and out of the stadium and they are very friendly as well. The bathrooms are very clean and there's plenty of them all around the stadium. I also love how there are food trucks on some days, so if you are not feeling the food at the stadium, it's great to try some of the food from the food trucks or the vendors at the grassy area. My biggest gripe though is the parking. It is absolutely expensive and not even convenient. I would suggest parking a little bit further out and then taking public transit there so you don't have to worry about parking. I also love the big screen which allows you to see all the action much much easier

Some of my favorite memories at the Event Center include watching Zedd, David Guetta, Kelly Clarkson and even Onerepublic. Pretty much every event I have been to at the Event Center has been really great and so memorable. I love how intimate the Event Center is and it's easy to go from seats to the floor, effortlessly. But the downsides are the bathrooms which is not enough, dirty and the food options are terrible. I don't even remember what kind of food they offer there and the lines are always too long. I can't wait for my next event at the San Jose State Event Center.

Parking is easy. Paid $15 to park in the structure next to the stadium. Getting out of the lot was a bit slow as everyone was leaving but there were guides and moved quickly after a while. We got searched and tickets scanned. For a few dollars, you can practice pitching and hang out in the bounce house. Concession are standard except for the garlic fries and the churros. My goodness, the churro is FRESHLY FRIED! None of that frozen stuff heated in the toaster. These churros were fried! The best part? It was only $5!!! The stadium experience was great! Friendly crowds. The firework show are at the end of the night? Impressive! It blew my expectations away! Definitely worth it if you like baseball and want a fireworks show! We were really happy with our 4th of July experience here!

JAMES LOGAN…read more I came here last Saturday to watch my alma mater James Logan High School play against Jeremy Lin's alma mater Palo Alto for the NorCal Division I Championship. The winner would represent Northern California to play in the California State Division I Championship this Friday night in Sacramento against the Southern California representative, which is Eleanor Roosevelt High School of Eastvale. The Leavey Center is a bigger version of a high school pavilion. It almost reminds me of old Harmon Gym at UC Berkeley with its intimate atmosphere for fans to watch basketball games. The Leavey Center is a good facility to host high school basketball championship games as last Saturday. There were four NorCal Championship games: Girls Division I, Boys Division I, Girls Open Division, and Boys Open Division. I only saw one game. The game itself was exciting. My high school was down by 13 points in the third quarter. Then it rallied to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. The game eventually went to overtime. As a proud alum James Logan won. Now it's off to Sacramento for the California State Division I Championship. Go Colts!

San Jose State University versus Boise State University. We were lucky to get tickets from my friend's son. There were 21K+ people at the game. It was freezing cold. I am thankful I had a beanie and my Ugg boots and jacket to keep me warm. I also remembered to bring a seat cushion for my seat on the bleachers. Overall, I had a good experience watching a college football game for the first time. The only down side was the parking was full. My friend told me in time so I end up taking uber there instead so I don't have to worry about parking. Then finding the will call ticket was a challenge. I didn't know the will call tickets were right where the ticket booth was. They should add Will Call to the Ticket Booth sign. Just took some time to find the will call to get my ticket. Overall, if you come during the winter, make sure to dress warm and bring transparent bag. It's a good stadium to watch a football game.

The outfield is grass, grass that is kept trimmed perfectly even and watered so well that from afar you might believe it is actually turf. The infield is the same, perfect grass, except for the base paths and areas where shortstop and second base play, and the areas surrounding each base and home plate where the batter's box is. Typically what you'd expect for a baseball field. Then the area behind the batter's box and the catcher, and in the foul area between the field and the dugouts, is turf. There is a deep 402 foot fence and a nice scoreboard in left field. The stands are great - folding seats closer to the field, on the ground level under the sun. The upper level is beneath the overhang, and is made up of bleacher style benches. Bathrooms are clean, modern, spacious, and well kept. The entire stadium is professional and gorgeous. A perfect place to play or watch a great ballgame!

All in all, so much to do! It was a blast! It was nice to see so many alumni at the Legends game, too!

Great price, even going to the movies with 4 people costs more than that! How could we say no??? Parking was well managed even with Santa Clara street being blocked off for an event. NOTE! SAP center changed their bag policy so we had to leave our purses/mini backpacks in the car. Their website is updated with what is acceptable. SAP center staff is always great at helping everyone and I love how personable they are. A pleasure to deal with! In the morning we were able to watch the players practice on the ice for about an hour. My son caught one of the practice pucks that flew over the glass which instantly made the ticket purchase worth it! There was a section to take a photo booth picture, pictures with sharkie, pictures on the ice, get your face painted, kids athletic area, and of course the meet the players/autographs. I wish that there was a published program that we could take that showed the times of all the events. Lines got long pretty quickly without us knowing what it was for. Prior to the event I guess there was an email that was sent out where you could reserve your time to take photos on the ice otherwise you wouldn't be able to do it. Kind of a bummer as the line didn't seem so long. My daughter had a stamp from doing the kids work out and a staff member let her line up to take a picture with the shark head but since the rest of our family didn't have a stamp we went back up to get one then found out we couldn't take a picture........ yet my daughter had no reservation and was able to line up so?? Aside from that (which wasn't a big deal) I think this was a great event to go to and definitely worth the price especially if you are a sharks fan. We were able to get super close to the players and it really was a great fan experience to be able to walk the SAP center so freely. If they could publish a schedule and maybe be more organized with the timing of things then that would improve it a bit. We will likely be back for the next one :).
