6-28-26 AEW FORBIDDEN DOOR 2026 I absolutely love professional wrestling, the theatrics, drama, action and storytelling. This was my very first AEW live event and it did NOT disappoint. The last few times they have come to the area I wasn't able to go, but nothing was going to get in my way this time. As soon as I found out, San Jose was going to hold Forbidden door, I was on board. As I said in my previous review, Sap center is setup nicely for events, not too big, not too small and there is NOT a bad view in the house. I make it a habit to NOT purchase stadium food because it's usually overpriced so I have little to say about that, I eat before I enter the venue. Thank you, I had a great time, this was a banger ppv, I got my moneys worth, AEW delivered today and they can literally sustain this forever by simply continuing to let the talent go out there and put on the BEST performances that they possibly can! i've been here a few times for special events, concerts and stars on ice shows. it's a great venue in silicon valley with a ton of seating, good acoustics and conveniently located in downtown san jose. one can choose to drive, take public transit (vta, bus, caltrain) or walk, if you live closeby. i've only ever purchased the "nosebleed" seats, all the way at the top of the upper levels, but the acoustics are still pretty good, you can hear the music clearly (sometimes a bit loud LOL). for events like stars on ice, the skaters do appear small from those upper level seats, but fortunately there are large monitors available in the middle of the stadium so that we don't miss any of the action. there are always a ton of vendors and concession stands to check out before the show and during intermission. beware: lines are always very long, so arrive early if you want to grab a bite, show program and/or merch. bathrooms are generally well kept, but again, beware of the lines just before the start of a show and during intermission, it can be a nightmare, esp if you're female! sap has their own parking, but you pay a pretty penny. my advice? find street parking, or park in any one of the downtown sj lots a couple blocks away. they're more affordable and only a short walk away. read more

I had a blast this weekend watching Stars on Ice with Team USA's figure skating champions. The tickets were affordable, and I was able to sit close enough to take close-up shots, but not close enough to smell their sweat. The skaters delivered a spectacular performance, with Alyssa Lui as the main star of the show. My favorite performances include Alyssa reenacting her Olympic performances; Glenn, Levito, and Alyssa dancing to "Golden" from Demon Hunters; and Illia dancing to Eminem's "8-Mile". The bathrooms were clean, and the audience was respectful and mindful of others. I'm sad that they didn't perform a second show in Northern California. 10/10!!!!!! read more

This arena and I have a pretty long term relationship.Ive been to so many events here over the years since they opened in 1993-I am pretty sure I went to a San Jose Sharks game that inaugural season back in 93 when I was a young 20 years old. Over the years I've seen multiple Sharks games-many concerts here,I've been to March Madness multiple times at this arena but my favorite events at this arena is probably the multiple times I watched UFC live at SAP Center,followed closely by the now defunct StrikeForce MMA fights that used to have shows at this great venue. Of course being that I live in the Sacramento area now as opposed when I lived in the East Bay,the trips take a bit more planning and usually involve an overnight stay at one of the many great hotels in the area but that doesn't actually make the events at this event any less fun,in fact it enhances them. One of the true beauties of this arena is the way the city has built up the area around the arena-just a short walk away there are a plethora of incredible restaurants and bars that are great to enjoy either before or after events depending on the day of the week-I will admit I may have had to carry the wifey out of the Old Wagon Saloon after indulging a bit too much after a great event at the Sap Center-my point being-so many great options in the area for entertainment both post and pre events at this arena. As with every arena,traffic and parking are quite the challenge here-there is onsite parking but it is extremely pricey-I always find using light rail to get in and out of events at this arena is still the best value in the game. Inside the arena,it's been very well maintained and is very modern for an arena that is almost 33 years old-bathrooms are super convenient and generally always clean. The staff have always been extremely helpful and were definitely helpful when I first learned about hockey etiquette-I will always appreciate them for that. Food at this stadium is plentiful-though there is still stadium pricing so that's to be expected-Beer pricing is nothing unique-very standard but they do have some cool options,my last trip I picked up a hockey stick that I could drink my beer out of-I love that thing. Love how local SAP has become over the past few years with their food options. While they of course have the standard event food like popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, and chicken tenders, they also have a bunch of local businesses throughout the center. Some of my favorites are El Halal Amigos and Pana, and I also love seeing Nirvana Soul and Voyager there too. SAP is Conveniently located near downtown and the light rail and train station, so getting down here via public transit, or finding parking that isn't too expensive nearby is never too difficult of a problem. I've come here for concerts and sporting events, and am always glad to deal with the ease of coming here, vs having to go to the city. read more

Great overall experience for the Regional Sweet 16 and Elite 8. Getting to the arena, parking and entering were all a breeze. Now the $50 parking price tag was very heavy. Plenty of food vendors, helpful staff, and merch booths. Seating was solid from all over the arena. The game atmosphere was awesome from all the fans. And the games were competitive. Our second time here in 12 years. Will noticed the two retired Jerseys hanging had been active players on our last visit. Will was an excellent companion on this trip as he tracked down a great parking garage, timed our dining break perfectly and helped me understand some of the poor calls the refs made. Hearing "Ref You Suck!" Being chanted by the entire crowd was a unique experience. We ate chicken tenders, fries and washed that down with a Pacifico each. Chicken tenders were hot and had the texture of sliced chicken breast, moist and the consistency of the name - tender. Breading was fairly crispy. Fries were good too. A low scoring game, Winnipeg scored first right out of the gate and Sharks tied it up early in the 3rd period, putting the game into overtime. Sharks scored first taking the game. read more

Stars on Ice @ SAP Center. The whole Team USA figure skating team was on tour in San Jose. The tickets were sold out. We were seated in section 218 in the upper corner of the stadium. The view was pretty good - you can see the entire ice rink in one frame. The skating was definitely world class. read more

The thing I love most about the SAP Center is its versatility. I have had so many different types of experiences here... from concerts and hockey games to comedy shows and so much more! Every experience has been excellent. Whether you are eating from your favorite concession spot or grazing throughout the lounge during the hockey season, the SAP center is always serving up tasty bites. Everything is served perfectly portioned, piping hot and full of flavor. You will never have the same culinary experience twice--unless of course, that's your jam! Now, something I find it important to note... the staff is friendly and there really isn't a "bad seat" in the house. In the event you are seated in a section and there are some overtly rowdy folks nearby... the event staff are usually pretty quick at getting things settled. They also have a number you can text if they don't see the issue right away. Talk about service! My only gripe is how difficult it tends to be to get out of the parking lots after any given event takes place. This is more of a gripe at SJPD and their folks who direct traffic along with the way they blockade certain routes. Other than that, the SAP is an excellent place to see a show, eat some delicious grub and enjoy a night downtown. Highly recommend. 11/10! read more

Came here for Disney on Ice and there are plenty of street and parking garages within 10min that are less than $10. Security was relatively straightforward and lax. There are plenty of food venues, albeit on the pricey side. We were in Section 115, Row 22 and seats were solid with good views. Wouldn't hesitate to come back for another show. read more

This review is for the suite. I've never seen a show from a suite and WOW! What an experience! I don't think I can sit in regular seats after this. We came to see Jo Koy. The suite we were in is for 12 people. You can order food ahead of time but it's for 6 or 12. If you want drinks, it's either a 6-pack or a whole bottle. If you want cocktails or a beer, you'd have to go outside and stand in line. You have your own bathroom - which is great!! We ordered food a couple days before the show and when we arrived at the suite, the food was there ready for us. We also have an attendant who checks on us and we can place orders with him/her during the show. There was a lot of food for 12 people. Unfortunately we couldn't take home any leftovers. I'd love to watch another show this way! Lots of room to hang out with your friends, stand, sit, dance... there's even a couch and extra bar stools so you can just chill, a fridge so you can chill your drinks, etc. read more

A TIME WAS HAD!!! Idk about y'all, but I LOVe a good fight at a Hockey game. First time going to a SHARKS game, and it was lit. lITERALLY 100/10. Center was very well organized and I have to point this out. We never like waiting in lines, and especially us ladies because we wear and brings bags/purses. We got there at 7pm, game starts at 7pm... and was in the center by 710pm, and I brought a purse to wear. THIS WAS THE QUICKEST TIME FRAME, I HAVE EVER WAITED IN LINE FOR AND GOT INTO THE CENTER, WITH ALL THE GAMES AND EVENTS I EVER BEEN TO. In and out of state. it was so swiftly and organized, I cannot stress how this was the greatest organized staff ever. Inside the center it was very clean, and cute, and they even had these first game pins, wish I got one but I didn't, and these cute take home margaritas cups. I got one of them. The drinks were VERY VERY GOOD, strong. But in a good way, I felt a great buzz. Food, I am not sure, my date had a pizza, but he wanted Pepperoni and it was Cheese pizza..he didn't really care for it he sad. Looked good to me, but I did not try it. Everything was of course no cash payments. Sharks did not win unfortunately. But it was a great game and even went to OT. You guys definitely need to go to the SAP CENTER it's a VIBE. It amazes me when I see a hockey game one night and a concert on another night. The fact that this lovely venue can morph from one extreme to another with such ease and grace is extraordinary. One of the best qualities of SAP is its size. So many venues are too big to get a good seat for a decent price, but there's not a bad seat in the SAP house. No matter the event, you can count on fully seeing and hearing whatever it is you paid for. Being a hockey fan, SAP is awesome for Sharks games. The variety of food gives everyone a shot at something to satisfy their hunger. Whether you want a hamburger, burrito or sushi, they've got you covered. The bars have a nice selection of fun drinks too. Be aware that no cash is accepted anywhere in SAP. it's okay though if you don't have a card. There's a machine or two around that converts you cash into a temporary Visa card. For those who have physical challenges, the entrance by seats 116 are accessible. First Aid can take care of almost any problem. San Jose police are ever present and conflicts are rare. There plenty of parking on-site or across the street. Caltrain drops you right at the door of SAP and has local trains running every half hour. We are so lucky to have such a nice venue in San Jose. Come visit sometime and have a little fun. read more

Last night (11/19/2025), we were at the SAP Center to see Pat Benatar and Bryan Adams. We have been here in the past for Sharks games and other concerts. It's a very nice venue. I think no matter where you sit, it's not a bad view. We were in section 115, row 6, and had an excellent view of the stage. There were quite a few places for food and drinks inside. We had some arepas from Pana Venezuelan. They were actually pretty good. Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo were amazing. She's still got it. She sang a bit of her older songs and some new songs for about one hour. I was blown away at how good Bryan Adams was. His voice hasn't changed a bit. His show was so entertaining. His music got everyone up out of their seats, dancing. It was an amazing show. I had the time of my life. Both artists were excellent and put on an electrifying show that we will never forget. read more

Came to a Sharks game with my friend and SAP stays being one of my favorite venues. There's lots of very affordable off site parking and walking with groups of fans over to the entrance is part of the experience. They're very quick with security and once inside there's tons of food and drink options. My one thing about this venue is it's always pretty difficult to get around as people there isn't a good flow of foot traffic, lots of people standing in the middle of walkways and getting out after the game is over is always horrendous experience. Sharks games however are another level and even though they aren't what they used to be since they're in a rebuilding stage, it's still a great vibe! read more

My family always parks here for Sharks games/SAP events given its convenient location to the SAP Center. This parking lot is literally across the street from the main SAP entrance. I've attended Monster Jam at SAP Center two years in a row and it's always an amazing experience. I usually like to get closer seats, and the arena layout makes it easy to feel close to the action. The SAP Center is a great size for the amount of people who attend these events -- it feels energetic and packed without being overwhelming. The show itself was incredible. The excitement and energy in the arena really make the experience, and it's fun for all ages. I attended with my fiancé, a family member, and a baby, and everyone had a great time. There are always cool vendors selling merchandise, which adds to the overall experience. Food options were solid with a good variety, including pizza, chicken tenders, sodas, slushies, candy, chips, nachos, and elote. One of my favorites was the chicken tinga from Tac-Oh!, which was really good for arena food. The only small hiccup was seating at the start. Our original seats were taped off when we arrived, and we were initially given incorrect directions while trying to find our section. We spoke with customer service and they were able to reseat us just a couple of rows higher, which we appreciated. Once that was sorted, everything else went smoothly. Bathroom cleanliness during busy events could use some improvement. Overall, my family had an amazing time at SAP Center. It was super fun and enjoyable, and whether it's Monster Jam or a Sharks game, I'd absolutely come back. SAP Center is a staple for those living in the Santa Clara area. read more

The show was good, and that's all that matters. A couple of weeks back I went with my family to see our childhood faves, Linkin Park, and it was a banger. The audio was great, vibes were high. Plenty of food and drink areas. But dang am I salty about the money I spent on drinks! The way they are just milking our pockets, ooof. Definitely a smart idea to pregame. I am talking stadium prices of $18 for a white claw. I think over $20 for a cocktail, and it was small. $20 for a hefty carne asada fries but I wasn't as mad about this one, because I was hungry and I could have split this one amongst 3-4 of us. I genuinely felt like I was holding 3-4lb of fries. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the spot, but I think it had cantina in the name and every other item was also $20 lol. I think a bottle of water would have cost me like $8, something crazy high like that. I have to give a big shout out to one of the servers at one of the many stations for so generously giving me a bottle water when I asked mid-show where the closest water fountain was. Truly, bless this kind man. He said he doesn't trust the water fountains? It was my first time at this arena so I can't comment on if the fountains are really that bad. I was rushing to the show after work so I didn't prepare a reusable water bottle, I'd suggest checking to see if they allow those. Overall, the arena was very clean, including the bathrooms. At the end of the show I had to desperately use the restroom and was fully expecting a long line but to my surprise I got into a stall with no issues. I've been to SAP plenty of times to see hockey games and concerts. Most recently I saw ATEEZ for the In Your Fantasy Tour and they were great!! It's a small venue compared to Chase Center or Oakland Arena, but I've seen lots of great singers here. Billie Eilish and Justin Timberlake also played here in 2024. The venue itself is nice. I find the food options overpriced and lacking. When I went to ATEEZ, only popcorn and tacos were available. Most food vendors were closed. The parking lot can get crazy after the concert, with only one exit. (I've seen the traffic get gridlocked after an event.) I love having a venue close to home, but sadly the SJ hockey team hasn't been doing well in a long time (sorry Sharkie!). Hopefully more artists start coming here in the future! read more

I have been to this place many times and I can't believe I've never reviewed it, from concerts to San Jose sharks games, OK at first it looks like it'll be a great place to tailgate, but they don't allow it, there's many places around or close to SAP-center where you can go get drinks and good food like San Pedro Square. It's always a freaking nightmare getting into this building. The lines are always super long , super slow. They used to have lockers if your bag was over size but now I think you can bring in any size bag, but it makes the lines even slower. The seating inside is pretty adequate. Seating could be tricky though for concerts. They're sort of long aisles of seats so it's a bitch to get in and out if you have to use the bathroom or go get snacks. The restaurants -snack spots ate kind of spread out all over the place. Very long lines and I definitely deducted one star also for the prices of food and drinks, crazy expensive also. read more

I've been here a couple of times from 2014-2017 for concerts and a Sharks game. I recently went to a Sharks game (Dec 2025) so I'll be reviewing that experience. I forgot how "small" the SAP center is...and I liked it!! It's literally one loop around the stadium and you're done, there's no other stairway/escalator like Chase Center/Oracle Park etc. Food was fine..I forgot the vendor that we ordered from, but it was fries & burgers spot. The burger was good but the fries were a bit cold. They had little sauce packets on the side which was nice to just grab and go. The game itself was super fun! Great seats in Section 107. I also love that there are A LOT of stalls in the Women's restroom cause it was not a long wait at all. I also got the ABC parking lot and that could be a little bit difficult to find...it's like semi behind the SAP center (depending on which direction you're coming in from), but either way, it was nice cause the parking lot was near the entrance so it was a very short walk :). Security was also a breeze too. If you have a smaller bag, you can just walk through. If you have a bigger bag, they will ask you to open it and they will check the inside. I would love to go another Sharks game! It was fun! read more

Disney on ice!!! My first time ever! I kept telling my bf we need to go with his daughter, I always see them on the build board on the side of freeway parking Oakland. We finally came! Parking was a bit hectic but that's wherever you go for an event. Parking was $20 and we parked close to the exit so we can leave more easier. The walk to go in it was quick like 5 minutes very easy to get inside. We were a bit late so we couldn't really look around to buy food or buy a little souvenir. We hurried up and bought some quick food and get to our seats. We go to seats and we were on the left stage area and the view was okay but I still enjoyed my time there. Next time I will definitely get the middle section and a bit closer to see the actors up close. The food was not the best so we saved our appetite for later. On their break, we decided to get a little souvenir for my lil bestie since she was being for one. Honestly the merchandise is all very pricey so keep spending to a minimum. Overall I absolutely loved the scenery and definitely one for the books. I love creating memorable moments with my little family! read more

If you're in San Jose, SAP Center is basically the heart of the city. I've been to arenas all over the country, Miami, Atlanta, you name it, and honestly, "The Tank" still takes the win for me. Whether it's a Sharks game, a concert, high-intensity fights, or even just local high school graduations, this place handles it all. If you can snag the right seats to get into the Celly Lounge for a Sharks game, DO IT. The environment is awesome and the food is actually legit, a total step up from your standard stadium snacks. The Club Level is also totally worth the upgrade because you get much better bar choices and different food options that aren't available to the rest of the arena. Here's my hot take on seating, sometimes the "nosebleeds" are actually the best. For Sharks games, being center ice in the top bowl lets you see the whole play develop. For fights? Absolutely go high; you see way more of the action. Maybe stick to the lower bowl for concerts, though. If you're lucky enough to be in a suite, they are super comfortable and having that outdoor seating area is a nice touch. Only downside? The "Blue Coats" can definitely be a bit much sometimes. They take the job very seriously and sometimes it's like... okay, calm down. But hey, don't let them ruin your night. Just shake it off, move on, and enjoy the show. Had an amazing attendance experience at this venue! While SAP Center is the home of hockey, it's being a new venue for concerts. I went to see Ateez this weekend, and the organization was superb. There's nearby street parking, garage parking, or parking at the Caltrain station. The venue is within 5-10 minute walking distance from several parking spaces. The lines were organized and the staff had everything in control from managing the long lines inside and out, and security was no hassle. The venue has several kiosks for food from popcorn, beer, tacos, and more food. They have the policy of uncapped bottles for safety. Great venue experience read more

I've been to this venue for concerts, comedy shows, and sports games. It's a nice spot and surprisingly easy to manage for its size. Once you're inside, everything usually runs pretty smoothly. That said, the entrance experience could use a lot of improvement. Most of the time, the staff outside don't seem to know what's going on, and there's a serious lack of clear signage. It's often confusing trying to figure out which line is for what, especially if you're attending with a group. read more

First timer visiting SAP Center last night for a Billie Eilish concert! We parked at a parking lot that was about a half mile away from the arena for $20 which was cheap compared to some of the other pricing I saw. The lines to get through security and into the arena moved pretty quickly. We had general admission floor seats so there was a separate line and entrance which was nice. The inside had a ton of places to eat, but the SAP Center and Billie Eilish switched every single menu to Vegan just for the 2 days she will be playing there - I had my thoughts on that last night and it actually stopped my husband and I from purchasing anything to eat. I did see a chicken tenders place, Mexican, Philly Cheesesteaks and even an ice cream place - again all Vegan. My husband did end up buying a tall can of beer from one of the vendors and he said it tasted old - so there's that as well. Everything is just so over priced - I saw a cocktail that was almost $33! My other issue was that there were multiple easily accessible men's bathrooms available, but there were only 2 available for women and it was nowhere near the men's - so I was constantly seeing women walking around seeing the Men's bathrooms and then not knowing where to go for the women's. I don't understand how or why they created it this way - most places have the bathrooms right next to each other. I can't comment on the seats since again, we had floor tickets and we stood the whole time, but the floor layout was spacious though and I didn't feel like I was completely surrounded by a bunch of people. Overall, the arena seemed okay minus some of the issues I mentioned. I would like to come back again some day for a San Jose Sharks game though! read more

The SAP Center is a horrible venue for persons with handicaps! I purchased, what I thought were handicap seats, for The Stars on Ice, only to find i needed to walk down some stairs to my seats. The seats were at the beginning of a row and the other attendees came in late, left for food, bathroom and???? Just because I'm not bound to a wheelchair, doesn't mean I don't have limited mobility! ​​ The Stars on Ice were better than I could have hoped for but the venue was horrible!! read more

My friend visited the Ice bar to order a cocktail without issue, but when I requested a simple soda, the bartender--a bald, Caucasian male--insisted on asking if I wanted a "Jack and Coke" or "Rum and Coke." When I clarified that I only wanted a soda, he responded by calling me "weird." Given the situation, I felt compelled to share that I was pregnant and trying to be cautious, yet he simply shook his head and shrugged. Ultimately, I never received the drink I requested. I have never encountered an issue ordering a non-alcoholic beverage at any other bar, and I found the bartender's judgment and lack of service to be unprofessional. I hope for a more inclusive and respectful environment for all guests in the future. read more

My daughter, granddaughter & I thoroughly enjoyed the Stars on Ice event today. A staff member walked us all the way to our seats. What a view we were privy to being in the 3rd row. The show started & ended on time and the acoustic were excellent. My only complaints was the expense of the snacks, beverages and parking. The STARZ on Ice-tour was trying to raise money to help support children & think it would've been wonderful if the SAP center had offered refreshments that would actually benefit the nonprofit instead of price gouging all the people who already paid over $100 for tickets and $30 for parking. read more

$50 for concert parking. I attended a concert in July 2025, and doors were supposed to open at 6:30PM. Show was supposed to start at 8PM, but they didnt let us in until 7:45PM. So there was a huge line outside and it was a big waste of time. I sat in section 211 and there's cup holders which is really nice. But there's not a lot of leg room The lower rating is mostly for not letting us in when advertised. Also no signs anymore on which line is which read more

I grew up going to Sharks Games here and it all started with the HP Pavilion, RIP! It's a great stadium and really hits home for me. I guess you can say I'm bias but I know this stadium so fun and easy to navigate. It's very friendly to newcomers and walking around the whole stadium can probably take you less than than 15 minutes. Bathrooms are very convenient, you can't miss it with a large W and M over the doors. Love the food here, they just added local businesses and upgraded all of their vendors. Food isn't mind blowing but it will do the job for stadium food. Also, their popcorn has been notably good since I was a kid here. Everywhere in the stadium is a prime spot for watching good hockey and they have lights on the seats for light shows that they just added! As for parking I don't know too much, I usually park a couple blocks down or go to a nearby parking garage. For fast access, I use the CLEAR lane with my dad, you have to download the app and upload any info it asks for and this expedites your process into the stadium, they started doing this during COVID. Go Sharks! Let's hope we get the cup and I'm going to predict in 2032 we will have a completely rebuilt team and the Sharks will have won the Stanley Cup by then. From Sharks games to concerts and special events, this place has always been a decent venue. I recently attended a circus performance here this past weekend, and had a positive experience. Views from the front row upper level were pretty good, and seating was comfortable enough (first row had cushioned folding chairs). Sound and lighting for the show were well executed. And free wifi in the venue is a plus. I love the self check out kiosks for some of the concessions (Classix), quick and easy to get a bottle of diet soda... for a pricey $6 + tax of course. Nothing too special about the food/drink offerings, in fact not all concessions stands were open during the recent event I attended. But I didn't encounter any problems or unreasonable waits for anything this past Sunday. I know hockey games and concerts are a lot more crowded though. Parking sucks, $30 on event day, but I opted for free street parking on The Alameda (near Whole Foods), not too bad of a walk, and why not save a few bucks. read more
