It is also handicap accessible (with the exception of the tellers desk) and is always kept clean. The staff here are always polite and helpful & this location is easy to get in & out of.

Huntington bank is nothing special. They want as much of your money as the can get and your business, as much as they can get, so they can make money off it. Their customer service is ok, but their local branches around me are always busy and not great because they are a big bank who wants your money and is willing to do as little as possible to get it. I wish Peoples Bank was still in Akron, I would use them a thousand times over before I would use Huntington. Other than that I am going to close all my accounts, refinance my mortgage with Key Bank. They are understaffed. The staff they have are friendly and helpful. There's only one lady (banker) who is not as friendly and never smiles. I have complained about service for disabled as there is a sign that says that if you require special assistance (with the recognized disability sign) to let them know. I think that if someone is struggling to stand up in line with a cane, then a teller or banker should excuse themselves and either offer their support.. Offer a seat, serve them.. There are not enough seats in the lobby and the line goes out the door at peak times. At one point, they didn't even have a notary. I complained about this and now they have one, however if you need this service, call ahead. In summary, if you need branch services, drive the 4 miles to Ravenna branch. Much better.

Reviewing a bank can be tough because you are dealing with someone's money. Most people either have a really great experience or a horrible experience. For me, my experience has thankfully always being positive. This is a full service Chase Bank in downtown Akron which I love because from where I live in Cleveland, the nearest one is a 12-15 min drive away which isn't bad at all. Still, it is nice to have a bank close to where I work. There is an ATM machine here too so if the bank is closed and you happened to be at work after hours, then you can still withdraw cash or deposit money. The ATM is in the main lobby of the Akron Centre and also next to the entrance door of Chase. SERVICE - Everyone I've encountered inside this Chase branch has been super nice and friendly. LOCATION -- This Chase is located inside the Akron Centre. This location is more convenient for those who work in the area or those who work in the building. If you are just passing through then this may be a difficult location to visit just because you will have to park downtown and we all know how annoying downtown parking can be. There are parking garages downtown with the closes one being at the First Energy building or the Cascade parking garage. this bank is very incompetent when it comes to information. they have been holding an insurance…read morecheck that was deposited 3rd party. I was told that the people had to sign the back and then endorse it over to me cause I have the account. I was told I could deposit it through the ATM or through mobile banking. so I deposited or through ATM waited through the holding period. now being told they are not going to clear the check because my name wasn't on it. (keep in mind I did what they told me to do before I even deposited it) so I call our insurance agent. asked her to put a stop payment on it and reissue another one. she told me that the check already cleared so she can't stop the check. Huntington already cleared the check. go figure. still can't get it released. it has been 3 weeks. they first told me my insurance agent needed to call to request the check be sent back.... then with no avail I go into the branch by my house... now the insurance financial institution needs to make a claim with Huntington.... hmmmm..... today I called my insurance agent.... she said Huntington called their financial institution to ensure it was not a fraudulent check. they confirmed it WAS NOT fraudulent. to go ahead and release the funds.... they still have not. now they need to get ahold of Bank of America to "find out how to send the check back". now we are going on 3 weeks..... how come no one there knows how to do their damn job?? all I wanted was for them to either release the funds (been 3 damn weeks) or send the check back so I can get another one issued. how come it's so hard for people to do their damn job???? I have never had a problem with this bank until now. no one will give me a correct phone number so I'm taking this to the top. I give them no stars.... at all.... terrible with information.... terrible in getting issues resolved. I have been with them for a few years now and needless to say.... I will be looking for a new bank!!!!
