I personally felt she was probably racist but felt safer deflecting onto poor people. Then when I walk past all the staff to see the doctor everyone suddenly became silent which felt odd and uncomfortable. The doctor seemed rude and somewhat rushing me almost as if I was just an object and she didn't care but was forcing herself to stay professional it seemed. Then when selecting my glasses another woman working, noticeably louder than her normal conversation voice, announces three times that I have United Healthcare. The second time I acknowledged I was on it and I can pay whatever extra fee that I have to and she still loudly and unnecessarily announced it a 3rd time in an attempt to embarrass or humiliate me or poor shame me I suspect. Other than that they do their job correctly if you can handle the mental abuse. The optometrist also put on a black face mask before my eye exam and wore it throughout the entire exam. Covid is over so I wondered if she did that for all of her patients or just the Black ones.

I have had eye issues since I was in fifth grade so that means countless visits to eye doctors. This by far was the most extensive and best experience I have had. Dr. Mary Vadas and Dr. Megan Hart are excellent doctors. My young son is a patient of dr vadas and I of dr hart. The time and explanation given to my young son who was extremely nervous for his first eye exam was amazing. My son walked away excited his glasses were ordered and looked forward to picking them up. Dr Hart is just as amazing. I can be a challenge making the choice between option one and two but she was very patient with me. When explaining the options with glasses and with my contacts I definitely know she listened to me and helped me find the best choices. I would highly recommend this practice. It's off a main highway so it's easy to get to and worth the drive if you don't live locally.

I appreciate her as when Covid first began I had a eye emergency issue and the office wasn't open for patient however to stop me from having to go to the Emergency Room she who'd yet to meet me came from home and op bed for me I was very thankful for her to do that !!! Then proceeded to treat and diagnose me quickly so both dr have been great as everyone in our family wears glasses. So I'd for sure go here . The 4 star is only due to fact it is a very small practice therefore it does not have a big selection to choose from for frames so that has been a small issue over the years so that's one area they could improve

I looked around Yelp in the internet and this place was recommended as a best place in town to fix glasses. I popped in and it turns out one of the owners is the greeter. This is fantastic as for many small businesses the owners are nowhere to be seen. Right out of the gate he was friendly, happy, and wearing a really sharp pair of glasses (for him). I mentioned that I found them on Yelp and showed him my glasses. He was pretty sure it was an easy fix and would be done in a couple days for 10 or 15 bucks. To my enjoyment he called the very next day to say they were done. Got here a few minutes before my appointment and the place was packed. Not to mention that while I was sitting here to walk ins' came in just to check out the place. If you want a unique design and/or a unique design with color this is your place.
