Let me start by saying doctors are great everything is great if you don't need glasses, I order and paid over 950. was told 2 weeks went in to pick up my glasses and sunglasses oops they forgot to order sunglasses 2 more weeks go by I called lab needed more info another 2 weeks, another 2 weeks call again the lab needed replica of frames which staff forgot to mail, another 10 days, staff promising to call never did, so after 7 + weeks brought glasses back for a refund and I was treated with attitude. Sometimes I walk in and am greeted with a happy hello and other times they are busy entering on the computer and barely look up to tell me to sign in on the kiosk. Good selection of glass frames. They have two "halves" to their business: the optometrist office, and the eyeglasses store; this time I was there just for an eye checkup. I had an appointment and went to check in. The receptionist commented she thought I was "there to rob the place": I was wearing a N95 mask, and she didn't say it like a "har har joke I'm kidding" but more under her breath, like "great, more of *you* people" (if that makes sense.) Then she said I had to change my e-mail address because she didn't understand that I had my own website; after trying to explain it, I just gave up and told her my gmail, to which she said, "That's better." In all a very snide start. The medical staff was excellent, and the optometrist was very well-mannered and experienced. Chit-chat was light and friendly, and their knowledge and attention-to-detail was great. Upon returning to check out, I had to wait a few minutes. I thought it was very unprofessional that the reception staff was engaged in judgmental gossip about someone (I don't recall any of the details, but at least it did not to appear to be about a patient.) I went back to the same receptionist and said that the optometrist told me they would bill my insurance as it was for medical reasons. She insisted on getting a credit card, and would not give me even an estimate of how much I might be charged if insurance was rejected. In all I was so disappointed that I will be seeking out another service in the future. It's too bad because the medical staff, equipment, and expertise is excellent. read more

terrible experience. First appt. I waited for over an hour before someone finally asked me why I was there. I did check in upon walking in the door. they don't have competent people at the front desk. I was then told they did not h ave my appt. in the system. They made another appt. I returned only for them to tell me they had no appt. for me on the schedule. I had a card in my hand with appt. date and time. Poor customer service, poor service overall. They feel aas if they are the only optical service to go to. Just poor overall. Don't waste your time. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Chute for years and he is truly the best eye doctor around. My eyes are a challenge. My prescription is not for a rookie optometrist, so when I purchase new glasses, I get them here. Perfection is their motto and if there are any problems, they will fix them before you get them. I never have problems once I get them. You will not be disappointed with the service! These doctors and optometrists know what they are doing. read more

Very nice service the first time I visited. Second time, after 30+ minutes of waiting, I was told "we squeezed you in, you're next, bud". The receptionist called me "bud". I was not rude. I don't think my wait period was acceptable, and I certainly don't appreciate being called "bud". The doc was nice and all ended up well, but no one gets to call their customers "bud". read more

My appointment was primarily for a contact lens exam but the thoroughness of Dr. Chute's consultation provided me with helpful information regarding my current eye health and suggestions of future contact options that could potentially improve my vision. 11 minutes agoNEW They were winners in my book, until they came back at me 3 MONTHS later to collect $110, because they decided they wouldn't take my insurer, after forming an implied contract that they would. Both UHC and CR have now lowered themselves to junk services. While CR's physical product is good, I won't be dealing with either entity again, after November. Because I hate Mondays, I will deal with the bill via my med trust TOMORROW. read more

Staff here is very professional and friendly. I was new and actually found this place on yelp. Getting an appointment is so easy just do it online through their website. They have all the updated equipment and did all of the tests for me being new. Even with that I was in and out and they provided great service. Definitely recommend the doctors here especially Dr. Lisa Chute. read more

Leaving because of distance was a big mistake! I will drive as far as I have to for C&R. I moved further away from Victor. I had an eye emergency and went to someone close by. Convenience was the reason I went there after the eye emergency. I had another eye emergency and found myself going to the convenient place about 5 times in three weeks. I had to see a different Dr. every time and each one had a different take on what was happening. Sometimes they were dismissive too. I had enough and decided it didn't matter how far I had to drive, I was going back to C&R and Dr. Pratt. I saw Dr. Pratt for my eye emergency. Immediately I knew I made the right decision. He had already read all my records before I got there and had some theories on what was happening. He was determined to figure it out and help me. Dr. Pratt took a lot of time and care with me. He's AWESOME!! Just a super great guy and a fantastic Dr. with the BEST bedside manner. I made another appointment with someone else as Dr. Pratt suggested. I'm so sorry I can't remember the Dr.'s name!! She was also AMAZING! I learned so much about dry eyes that I never knew. She was very kind and informative. The Dr.'s seem to spend the time they need to with you. I never feel rushed or as if the appointment was incomplete. I don't have questions after we are done. These are very caring Dr.'s along with a very caring staff. I have never had one bad or even semi-bad interaction with anyone there. I highly recommend C&R Vision, their Dr.s and their staff. Great people, well organized, minimal waiting, and thorough care. My husband and I are both very Happy Customers = ) It's a sigh of relief to be back in their care. read more

C&R Vision and Dr. Pratt are professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I can be picky with my prescription and like to give a lot of feedback because my vision is important, but Dr. Pratt is very accommodating. He is great about explaining things in laymen terms. He has been great about letting me trial a few pairs of different contacts so I could find the best fit. The staff behind the counter and in the eyeglass section are always great, as well. The wait is never long here. And, if it was, I would still go here. I trust them with my eyes. read more

Found this office online when my previous eye doctor stopped taking VSP insurance. Overall I'm glad I was forced to change. This visit was a great experience. I had a glasses and contact exam and purchased glasses. My appointment was at 2pm and I was able to browse frames prior to that (they were extremely helpful and gave me a tray to put choices in). They were right on time getting me in for the appointment, which was really thorough. Dr Decker was great, she was very personable and provided great service. She did not rush me about anything and took the time to discuss questions and issues. I really appreciated that. The entire office staff was friendly and efficient. Very impressed. The pricing was lower than many places I have been, large selection of frames and extended hours available. We are new patients, our family has been seen by both Dr. Pratt and Dr. Decker, both give very comprehensive exams and explain their diagnosis thoroughly. I have multi-focal lenses, Dr. Pratt tried many options before finding the perfect prescription. C&R Vision is a well staffed office, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable.
