She calls my insurance company, cancels the tow, and then my insurance company had to reach out to another tow truck company, to tow my car to my mechanic, and I have to wait another hour for them to arrive! I got my car towed by Treat's Garage off the NJ turnpike. The tow to the other shop was just 8 miles from the turnpike and only 3 miles away from Treat's. He tried to scam me by doubling the price. I filed a complaint with NJ Consumer Affairs and Treat's agreed to the overcharge and I am now getting refunded. It's a shame to think about how many other customers they have done this to and gotten away with. Do not give them your business, go elsewhere!

Out of desperation we had the car towed and Barbara at Haines could not have been more helpful. She was the one - not Hertz - who told us what to do and assured us she had done it many times. She called them and got the return confirmation from them so we could return it through her and just rent a replacement. I don't know what we would have done without her help. And she texted us later and responded to our calls later for follow up. When you're in a crisis and someone helps like this, it's invaluable.

Alba towing showed up and spent nearly three hours at my home trying to tow the vehicle out of my garage. Not the fault of the tow driver. We could not figure out how to put my new 2022 Corsair into towing mode. Lincoln completely changed the procedure for towing emergency use and my tow driver stood patiently by my side for nearly three hours as I was on the phone with Lincoln directly as well as two of their service techs who had no clue about the changes made to the vehicle that was preventing us from getting it into a mode to be towed. The Alba driver was extremely professional but even more, very patient and understanding. At one point, when he saw we might need to use dollies to get my vehicle out of my garage and that the opening was too tight, he went and sought out smaller dollies from one of his associates and returned back to my home to finish the job. At that point, I finally found out the method for putting my car into neutral tow and he was able to get it out of my garage without the dollies. There was so much confusion and back-and-forth conversation with various representatives and service technicians with no way to figure out how to move my vehicle. Throughout it all, my tow truck driver stayed with me. He never complained once. And to take it one step further, he came back a second time to finish a job he could have done the next business day -- but he felt that he wouldn't sleep if he didn't get the job done. I can't thank Alba enough for the service and overall level of patience and professionalism that was shown to me during a very aggravating ordeal. That visit to my home took up his entire day and away from other jobs. And even after the job was done, he made certain that he sent me photos of my vehicle to show that it arrived at its towed destination without any damage. This is a first-rate towing service with a great level of care for the customer.
