Our baby cousin had this birthday and my brother and I were so excited about it because she's at this toddler age where she could recognize toys and play with them properly. We were in SM North's Toy Kingdom, thinking if we should get her a PlasmaCar (how does it even move?!) or those V-Tech laptop things. We ended up with Legos because we want to play those too.
PROS: Their tagline is "The amazing Toy Store!" and it really does deliver this feeling of amazement. The interiors are brightly colored and there are always cardboard cutouts or life-size figures of characters around the area; The toys are categorized into many different sections, like those for enriching their artistic tendencies or scientific leanings, board games and electronic consoles, plus the different brands and icons for children; Aside from toys, they also have bikes, party stuff (hats, balloons, etc.), and also gift-wrapping services.
CONS: The staff are friendly and helpful, but sometimes a little too clingy. Like they'd follow you around, and you'd feel conscious about squeezing a big teddy bear's tummy.
TL;DR: I just love this Toy Kingdom branch because of its size, choices, design and over-all magical feel. read more
