I would say this store is a must see for the casual collector. If you are looking for a rare back issue, this store is probably better suited than most for your goal. Figurines also seem to be sold with the collector in mind - Fourth Wall has one of the largest selections of pop figurines I've ever seen outside of a comic con. There are also so many odd random items tucked throughout the shop - while there, I saw a Hulk Hogan board game, a puzzle displaying meat, a variety of vhs tapes, stacks of used books... The inventory here is really unique and interesting. The stock on current issues seems a little limited, especially in Indies, but that is not unexpected in a relatively new shop. I found the staff to be welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. What makes this store really interesting is that it is already fitted to be a great community space. From the pinball at the door to the wide back issue selection to the gaming/tv/couch area in the back, 4th while invites you to hang out and stay awhile. It's a great place to bring the whole family to peruse while you pick up your monthly pull list. I look forward to seeing the store grow and find its niche over time.

Recently a dealer looked at the piece and hologram and said they believed the autograph and hologram were not good so at my own expense I sent to Beckett and it came back as not an authentic signature or hologram. The seller (Chris at Junkdrawer) would not refund stating they do not guarantee pieces over 30 days, so If you are buying anything from this seller be prepared to spend the additional time and money to verify with PSA/Beckett/JSA or be out the money you spend. I lost $200 in a very expensive lesson.

He was more than happy to show us items behind the counter and you could tell that he was just happy and proud to talk about the things he's collected. He really loves what he does and it shows. The store has a bit of everything for everyone, just shelves and shelves of stuff you could spend hours looking at. And thank goodness we did! Secret Comix Cave has new releases, back issues a great selection of trade paperbacks, books and toys! Their subscription service is online and easy to manage. The owner, Gary, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! And you have a chance to become best friends with the greeter, his cute dog Dexter! They recently expanded and the store looks the best it ever has, things are organized in an intuitive way and you can easily find what you are looking for (new releases, releases from the last month, comics about to be put in the back issues bins, trades organized by company, Manga, etc) Secret Comix Cave also hosts several events in store (and even out of the store) to create, and maintain, a friendly and inviting community of comic book collectors in the area. I mostly purchase Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition books, as well as gaming miniatures and painting kits. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have a product available on the shelves, they are very good about fulfilling customer requested special orders. They also runs in shop role-playing game sessions, and even Hero-Clix and Magic the Gathering games! And if you can't make it in for a D&D game, they hold several weekly online events each week.
