I had wonderful experience buying my car back in December. I contacted them the day before saying I'd be interested in looking at a car they had listed on their website. I drove 2 hours to them after work and they accommodated me close to closing time. No hesitation! And no guarantee I would be buying the car. By the time I drove it, fell in love because it was even better than the photos, and finished the entire purchasing process it was over an hour past closing. Not once did anyone even mention it! I purchased my first car of my own here and they were so kind and helpful. I love my car and a year later no problems. When I first checked it out at the dealership whoever cleaned it didn't let it dry out fully and Brock (the salesman) had them re-clean it and when I picked it up it was great! My car was pre-owned and I noticed about three weeks later I didn't have back headrests! The lady before had taken them out and thrown them away. I called Brock and he ordered me some right away and helped put them in. First oil change was free. I also receive entertaining promotional emails from time to time. This place is pitiful. I never write terrible reviews, but this has been coming to head for a couple of years now. The service department used to be phenomenal when Russell Sanford was in charge of the desk. Since his departure it's gone to hell in a handbasket. If you have an emergency (nail in your tire) you can expect to be told "well, we'll just have to see if we can work you in." Baloney, it takes 15 minutes tops to pull, patch and you're on your way. If you have a check engine light you can expect to be told "well we don't know what to tell you, we're booking two weeks out currently." In the past if you had a problem, they would offer you a car so you could get to your meetings etc. Those days are over. Now you get told that "if it is expected to takes more than an hour you can get a courtesy car" with the understanding that, imagine this, "it shouldn't take more than an hour" which it seems to invariably do. It's utterly pathetic. This is not a one off. More and more people in town are talking about the decline of the Toyota service department in Murray from a customer service standpoint. Meanwhile you can call the dealership in Paris and they'll get you taken care of immediately. Places I recommend going besides Toyota of Murray for service. This dealership sold my parents a used Avalon, but shortly after they got it home, it had a dead battery, so they towed it back, and gave my parents a loaner car. They changed the battery, and returned it, and a couple days later the same thing happened. So they put in a new, new battery, (said the new battery was defective), and a couple days later the same thing happened. Each time they gave my parents a loaner car, and tried their best. After the fourth attempt, they still could not find a problem, and tried to get my parents to try one more time, but since there obviously was a problem with the electical system, and they had not determined what it was, my parents said no, and Murray Toyota returned their money. That is what I call good customer service, since it wasn't their fault that the car was faulty. The only reason I don't give five stars is because the car was back on their sales lot. Not to sure they found the problem, and if not, I feel for the next buyer. But to be fair, maybe they did find the problem? read more

I have been to this Murray Location twice to trade in my 2014 Toyota Prius C for another Prius. Both times I got the same salesperson by the name of Brock and got absolutely no where with this person. On the second visit I received a mailer in the mail that Toyota requesting to give $13,285.00 for my 2014 Prius C for trade on another vehicle. He would not even look at mailer, barely even talk to me, and would not give the amount trade on the mailer. He had a cocky attitude and spoke with a slippery snake tongue. He gave me $20.00 cash for gas for coming in and wasting his time and mine. They need to fire this salesperson! He sure is not customer friendly! I would never buy car from these people!!!!! Period!!!!! I will going back to Mike Smith Toyota in Paducah where I bought my vehicle from. If you are smart you will go somewhere else to buy your Toyota.
