My husband Brandon Boyd went to your dealership to purchase a Dodge Ram Laramie 3500 diesel dully in December 2021. There was not one on the lot so we custom ordered one. The ETA on the truck was end of March. End of March rolled around and heard nothing from the sales guy. We reached out to our sales guy who informed us that he would look into it. Never heard back from him nor did we get any info from anyone regarding the location of the truck. Anytime we reached out to our sales guy he gave us the run around and said he would get back to us but never did. Brandon called Dodge Corporate to locate the truck by the end of April. They told us it was delivered and sitting on your lot since April 3rd. So we called our sales guy to let him know the vehicle was there and been there for a month. This is the beginning of May now. Even the GM said that we wondered whose truck has been out there sitting there for that long. The sales guy pulls the truck up and Brandon realizes it was not the truck he ordered. It was not a dully. Knowing that is all Brandon talked, looked at and spoke about during the sale. The sales guy then says that is the correct truck. We tell him it's not and to go check. He comes back out and the only thing he says is that he forgot to check the box off for the dully. And laughs about it too. That it is when we lose it and walk into the dealership and demand to speak to the GM and the sales manager. They end up convincing us to go ahead purchase that truck and they will order the correct truck and they said nothing will change with the financing or interest rate. When the correct truck came in, our interest rate went up and that is what we did not want. But nothing we can do about it now. The truck did not have airbags or other specs that were to be added to it prior to delivery. We complained to the GM who then had to purchase aftermarket airbags to add to the truck when they were supposed to be on there in the first place. We take the truck to get the airbags added and the other items that were supposed to be added to it, to bring it home with the hose to the airbag not even connected or even put in the correct place. It was completely only half way done. How would you feel if you went to get service on 100k vehicle you purchased, and it was halfway completed? We own a roofing business and do not have time to keep having to bring the truck back up there for repairs. EVERY SINGLE TIME we go up there for service or something, the service department does not do the job to completion. There are other instances that have caused us turmoil, but the tip of the iceberg was Tuesday Jan 3, 2023. Simple service on the satellite radio since it hasn't worked since we purchased it and we had a physical appointment to have it worked on Jan 3rd along with an oil change and tires balanced and rotated. We needed all that work done in one day since we don't have time to make more trips for things that should have been fixed from the very beginning of time. Turns out they didn't fix the radio. Said they will need to have it another day to figure out the problem. But that was what the whole appointment was for. When Brandon was paying for the oil change, he specifically asked the service guy if he changed the fuel filters. The service guy said YES. Brandon gets out to the truck to check the fuel gages and the fuel filter is on 30%. So, he walks back into the service dept and confronted the service guy and told him he didn't change the fuel filters. Why did he tell him he did if he did not? Of course, there were some words exchanged, no ownership or apology of not completing the job when Brandon called him out on it. The service guy told Brandon to 'F*ck OFF'(how professional) and told him to leave. Over something that they should of done in the first place. It possibly could have been handled better but due to the circumstances of our situation starting from a year ago, we are at our wits in, and NEVER will we EVER purchase a vehicle, nor will we recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from David Taylor Dodge. I told the GM and SM prior in a meeting that I will stand outside with a sign if necessary, telling others about our horrible experience with that dealership. I would not even wish this experience we had with David Taylor Dodge on our worst enemy it has been that bad. We were advised that we can do our own service and still keep the warranty as our vehicle will never be touched or looked at again by your service department. That way we know the service is done to completion and not just hallway done due to EVERY service we have had done there was only done halfway. I'm not sure how a company can operate by only doing half the work. That goes from the service department all the way up to the GM. My complaints are valid and again, I do not wish this experience on my worst enemy. Oh and they didn't even put the air hose caps back on the tires. Can't make this up! True story!
