    Toyota Pavilion I'm here!

The Pavilion is good vibes only fun times great music service food and drink for moderate prices.

Attended a concert here on a Tuesday night, The Marley Brothers: Legacy Tour, and enjoyed the captivating sounds of reggae music and quality time with my love. There was a bit of traffic driving to the event, especially with faulty signs saying "employees only" leading to the general admission parking lot, but workers were there to help with all the confusion... and at least entering and exiting the event center before and after the show wasn't a nightmare like Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View or Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. Plenty of drink stands were set up throughout, and we got ourselves a beer, as well as some pricey cocktails, the wildberry mojito and strawberry vodka lemonade (similar to Shoreline). Both were sweet and tasty and not too strong in alcohol. Food offerings were a bit limited for such a large venue. Options included chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, pretzels, and ice cream, as well as a two food trucks on site. Definitely false advertising or lack of communication at all on the Toyota Pavilion's website about food options available, so we didn't know what to expect as we planned to have dinner while at the event. Note, not all of their vendors were open during the weeknight concert we attended. We got lawn seats and it was quite crowded, but there was a little more space in the grass toward the rear and west side, and the view of the stage was still fine (it's good they have two large screens on both sides of the stage). I do like that they even have a food/drink stand and restrooms inside of the amphitheatre, in the back, in addition to the ones outside the arena. The stars of the show were amazing, the five brothers together performing the awesome music of the great Bob Marley. Three Little Birds reminded the engaged audience not to worry about a thing. And love was in the air with the encore of Could You Be Loved and One Love. Great way to end the night.

I really wanted to like this venue. I like outside venues that are tucked away. I've learned with my experience with The Shoreline that you get to the venue early. As parking is a bit tricky. You don't want to park so far out that because after a night of dancing, singing and drinking to have to walk back to your car is a task in it of itself. So we arrived about an hour and a half before the start of the show. They direct you to your parking space. Leaves people from parking too dang close. You gotta squeeze in and out of your car. So that was nice. Also, take a photo of the nearest parking sign that usually notes a letter or number or a combo of both. So you can find your car later. This is to assume you've ensured your phone is charged to 100. Ladies, with venues such as these, you can't take in a purse larger than an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper and sometimes smaller. What I liked about this place is they have an actual NO Bags line. Which had no line at all, and we zipped thru. If you have virtual tickets make sure you got them pulled up on your phone by the time you get up to the qr code reader..no one wants to stand behind someone trying to rifle through their phone. Just be courteous. So we get through and figure we have to walk to the right, which is a slight incline up a hill. Not bad before the start of the show but I did wonder how some of these females in their heels was gonna make it down at the end of the night. The first booth we come across as we got to the top was a chair rental booth. Chair rentals was $10. We got seats so didn't need the chairs. Then it opens up to drink booths and a large food/bevvie wall. Bathrooms to the right and were maintained well. I used the restroom twice and both times there was a lady in their tidying up. We grabbed a couple of waters (liquid death) and their bottomless popcorn. Found our seats and just hung out. It was 6:45 when we got to our seats and show started at 7:30. No stress..no fuss...just sat and enjoyed the cool breeze and scrolled on our phones. Seats started filling in but even an hour into the show it didn't seem as if the seats were filled. Then slowly but surely they did and I think it was people from the lawn trickling down. The seating was funny. It seemed as if the seats in front if you are lower but they aren't that much lower. So when the people in front of you stand up its hard to see the stage and sometimes the large TV monitors. Not conducive to concert enjoyment when you are short like me. It was a little annoying to find out the people in front of you weren't even supposed to be there, so a little crowd control would have been nice. Next time I guess I just need to get tickets right behind the wall so no one is seated in front of me. Also, no one is mindful of the no smoking, so if that's an issue for you then I suggest don't do the outside venues. You won't be able to escape it. Leaving at the end of the night was definitely as expected. Stay seated and let the first wave of people leave. Unless you want to be shuffling out with a crowd and have the possibility of getting your food stepped on or a drink spilled on you by a drunk person. As we are leaving the Mexican hot dog carts are lined up and busy. $10 a hot dog majority of them took Venmo, etc. Leaving the parking lot is a nightmare..for most venues. So be patient and expect the slow crawl out or hangout in your car and tailgate. The lack of a complete 5 stars is the lack of crowd control and the way the seats are set up. Although don't know if they can even change that because the seats are bolted down. Employees were friendly and answered questions thoroughly. If I come back I'll just need to remember which seats to choose.

Managed to score $25 tickets to see Garbage and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on a Tuesday night. Drove from SF. Their opener started at 7pm. We left the city at around 6:30pm and got to the parking lot by 7:30pm. If we had left earlier we would have been in traffic another 20-30 mins. Parking was free. Parked in section E2, and the walk up the hill to the pavilion wasn't bad at all. We didn't have any bags with us, just a couple of blankets so the line to get in was quick. We didn't even go through the metal detector and no one checked our blankets to see if we tried to smuggle anything in (which we didn't!). Check the website or their IG page to see what is allowed before you attend so their aren't any surprises. Drinks are expensive. They take cashless payments. Check the weather before hand, it might get cold at night. Wish they sold hot drinks. I brought a reusable plastic rolled up bottle so filled it up at the water fountain next to the restrooms. The water fountain was dirty. The food stands was near the restrooms and next to the pavilion. Got the nachos - $10 + smoked brisket for $5 additional. Good munchies but they don't have any utensils, so take lots of napkins. Once seated there's staff going around selling popcorn, beer, cotton candy and churros. The churros was warm but by the time it got to me it got cold quick. If you're sensitive to loud music remember to bring concert ear plugs. We enjoyed the show and we always leave 2 songs before the show ends so we can get out of the parking lot quicker. Got back to SF in 50mins.

It'd been 20+ years since seeing a concert here so had no real expectations. I was happily surprised and delighted with just about every aspect that the venue offered. Parking was simple and organized (arrival AND departure), security and entry was efficient, directional signage was clear, restrooms were clean, plenty of food and drink options with enough staff to keep lines moving. I'll look forward to coming back if they host another band/artist I was to see. Note: knocked off 1 star since they listed a vegetarian burger on their menu which they no longer served. Not cool (the misleading menu and the lack of offering)

One of the best concerts of my life. Venue was well organized, drinks were good (&expensive). Pictures are from section 2 row KK

I live within a mile from the Pavilion. So I've seen many many concerts here. I've mainly gotten lawn tickets because of them being so much cheaper than seats. On Friday night My Husband and I saw whiskey Myers, and went all out to get seats. Pretty Good seats! The concert itself was phenomenal. I didn't have anybody rowdy or disrespectful around me. The lighting, sound, TV screens and graphics were so damn awesome.!!! Lots of friendly staff everywhere. My Husband and I quit drinking, so it was really cool to see lemonade stands that also sold pretzels with cheese and churros! But the CHAIRRRRRRS. Lawd, the chairs... My only gripe is how small and narrow the fucking seats are. My husband, an average sized man, was bumping elbows and legs with the man next to him. Luckily, I was on the end, but getting beat down on by the sun and being super super cramped next to my husband as he's sweating and hot too. It was NOT the biz. The seats are unrealistically small. And I'm not talking about just for someone like me with booty. I mean like anybody unless you're a middle school kid, everybody was packed in like sardines and it was extremely uncomfortable. Honestly, I can't even believe how these seats were when people pay good money to sit in them. I saw a guy a couple rows up, stand up and fight the seats apart so he could have a little space. My husband and I tried this but we were unsuccessful. I mean total SARDINES. You are guaranteed to go to second base with the stranger next to you just trying to adjust yourself to get comfortable. Big booty girls, you need a chair and a half so buy 2 seats next time. Step up your game, Concord Pavilion!

It's quite the haul to get here from the South Bay, but once our journey was complete, it was worth the drive. Venues like this are always going to have a traffic backup to get into, and this was no different. But once you're out of the car, it's a pretty organized system to get in. I liked how they had a decent amount of drink and food options, so none of the lines got too long. We were able to get seats about 5 rows from the stage, so it felt like a show in my living room!

What are the dining options at the Pavilion? What time should we arrive to park car, for a 6:45PM show?

She worked with me on design (tablescape, floral, etc.) and helped make our vision come true while always being mindful of what we were comfortable with. When Covid struck, Kristen was a godsend and was there for us with support and guidance. She navigated us through two postponements and each time handled all of the logistics and worked with our entire vendor team to secure new dates and negotiate amended contracts. We didn't have to lift a single finger during that stressful period besides signing paperwork as Kristen did everything for us to ensure a smooth postponement process. As a planner, Kristen has a special way of making you feel like you are her only and most special client. She is incredibly responsive with emails and every interaction I had with her was just so thoughtful. She never once made me feel silly for reaching out even with the smallest of questions. She is creative, detail-oriented and thoughtful. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped me stay organized and executed changes effortlessly. When I was stressed dealing with last minute transportation logistics, she took it upon herself to take over the task and thanks to her many contacts in Napa Valley was able to secure the right post-wedding transportation for our guests. Ironically, when I was first researching Day-of-Coordinators, I recall reading a review from one of Kristen's brides that mentioned Kristen was amazing during times of crisis and helped her wedding go smoothly despite raging wildfires that day. I remember thinking to myself if, god forbid, our wedding was threatened by NorCal wildfires (which at the time was the most realistic scary thing that could happen), I would definitely want a planner capable of handling a nightmare scenario. Low and behold, Kristen didn't just "handle" our pandemic wedding planning, she crushed it. Our June 2022 Solage wedding turned out absolutely beautiful! The day flowed seemlessly and Kristen and her assistant Sonja were so organized and helpful, I never had to lift a finger. Most importantly, both were just all-around delightful to work with. I remember Sonja helping me stay calm right before I walked down the aisle because I was starting to feel so overwhelmed with joy I nearly bursted into tears. When my husband's shoes were starting to give him trouble, Kristen literally helped bandage him up! We've also had so many family members and other vendors tell us just how wonderful Kristen was to work with that day. I am almost saddened to write this review because not only does it mean my wedding is over, but also because my time working with Kristen has come to an end. If you don't read any of what I wrote above, just read this - hiring Kristen was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. From day 1 we were in good hands and while they say no one cares more about your wedding than you do, that cannot be said about Kristen. She cares as much about your special day as you do.

I must admit, I'm a little embarrassed to be writing this review so late! We hired Kristen for our…read more2019 wedding at Viansa Sonoma Winery. Based on our needs, we went with a day/month-of planning package with event design. While we were only contracted for 3 scheduled meetings together, working with Kristen meant having a trusted professional to bounce ideas off of over email or phone, with basically any and all questions about vendors, timing, rehearsal dinner ideas, etc etc. After having attended a few weddings after our own and seeing some of the behind-the-scenes, what we feel makes Kristen a fantastic wedding coordinator/planner for us was that she not only has a good eye for design and incorporating a couple's individual style into a wedding vision, but she is also incredibly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, trustworthy, thoughtful, and personable - everything that you want in someone who will be working with you to plan one of the most important days of your life! Before planning our wedding, I would have definitely considered myself a bit of a neurotic perfectionist; probably not a wedding planner's first choice of a bride/groom/couple! Despite this, Kristen never once made us feel silly or self-conscious about all the questions we had, and she was remarkably patient when we were indecisive or when we couldn't quite nail down the direction we wanted to go in. She was practical and gave great suggestions on which design details to commit to and leave behind if we felt like we were straying too far from our initial budget, and ultimately, we reached a design that we still swoon about. Prior to the wedding, she got in contact with each and every vendor and created detailed plans/timelines/layouts for our wedding day and venue to make sure everyone could be on the same page. Having all the details/specifics on paper and transparently communicated with us and our vendors put us at complete ease! What really made me come back and write a review over 2 years after our wedding (I am still kicking myself for somehow forgetting to do so right away!), is all the details and stories that have surfaced from friends and family to this day about everything Kristen and the Sugar Rush team were doing behind the scenes. The rehearsal was conducted so smoothly - there was no question about who needed to go where and when, and they left no stone left unturned. Details like - which way should we stand for the best light at the time of our ceremony, giving the bridesmaids and groomsmen visual markers in the ceremony space so they would know where to walk and where to stand, touching base with each speaker and confirming whether they wanted a mic or a lapel, when they would get tapped to mic-up on the day of the wedding and who they should look for if they have questions, where the wedding party could leave their belongings during the ceremony and throughout the night - the list goes on and on! Things you wouldn't even think to consider, Kristen and her team already had covered. I learned Kristen and the Sugar Rush team (Sonja and Madison) were always available to grab and hold onto sunglasses and personal items for our Moms and wedding party and always made sure personal belongings made it back to the right person. When my husband accidentally spilled red gatorade on his white dress shirt, Kristen was there with a Shout wipe to save the day. There were a few super minor hiccups (I think one table had one fewer chair, and champagne glasses weren't set at each table setting since the caterer thought these would be passed), but Kristen and her team quickly remedied the situation and I never even heard about it until months later! We got more wind than we were expecting on our wedding day, and Kristen quickly pivoted some of our design elements to ensure things wouldn't be blowing over during the ceremony and cocktail hour. She just had great instincts and judgment and was so on top of everything! It was like the Sugar Rush team was simultaneously so present, but so invisible throughout the night. I am so thankful to Kristen and her team for their services, both leading up to our wedding, and on the day of. For any couple on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator/planner - DO IT! I would choose Kristen and Sugar Rush Events again without a question!
