The Pavilion has been a staple for Concord's entertainment scene hosting some notable rock bands and other renown artists. I returned for the first time in 15 years and can honestly say not much has changed. The place is decently clean for the most part, but I did notice that the cup holders in front of my seats had spider webs all over. Later on during the show I was attending, the spider came out I ended up having to kill it. I think the lack of up keeping has been due to a noticeable decrease in ticket sales. I attended a rock concert that hosted 8 bands, half of them big names and the place failed to sell at least 40% of the tickets. I believe that was due to the economy and also the fact the concert was taking place on a Sunday. Regardless, this place has some places to pick up on. The pricing was interesting, some food was expensive as you'd expect but there were hidden gems like a $12 free refill soda cup and also $2 hot dogs. I also appreciated the fact we could bring in practically unlimited sealed water bottles and an electronic spray fan with no issues. What was a huge difference compared to my prior experience was that ushers didn't ticket anyone in the seating areas, probably because there were so many empty ones and also a lot of people were trying to escape the heat/sun. Overall, I had a decent experience this time around. Staff were friendly, parking was free, and unlike most venues, you can actually find a surprisingly good deal for food and drinks. Came here for the sold-out Kolohe Kai show on Sept. 5. It was my first time back at the Toyota Pavilion in years. My group and I had lawn seats, and we found a spot close to the railing. It offered a good view, though I found it a bit more steep than Shoreline in Mountain View. There were large screens that offered good, clear views of the performers. Be ready to sit in traffic - it's a trek to get to the venue. It's far out in Concord. My boyfriend and I ended up parking in the neighborhood and walking about 5 minutes to the entrance, which saved us money and time. By the looks of it, the venue's parking areas were packed both before and after the show. Make sure to read the Pavilion's FAQ before you go. They're very specific about the kinds of bags you can bring inside. I got in OK with a fanny pack, but I saw someone have to step back out for carrying a small backpack. read more

Attended a concert here on a Tuesday night, The Marley Brothers: Legacy Tour, and enjoyed the captivating sounds of reggae music and quality time with my love. There was a bit of traffic driving to the event, especially with faulty signs saying "employees only" leading to the general admission parking lot, but workers were there to help with all the confusion... and at least entering and exiting the event center before and after the show wasn't a nightmare like Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View or Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. Plenty of drink stands were set up throughout, and we got ourselves a beer, as well as some pricey cocktails, the wildberry mojito and strawberry vodka lemonade (similar to Shoreline). Both were sweet and tasty and not too strong in alcohol. Food offerings were a bit limited for such a large venue. Options included chicken tenders, burgers, hot dogs, pretzels, and ice cream, as well as a two food trucks on site. Definitely false advertising or lack of communication at all on the Toyota Pavilion's website about food options available, so we didn't know what to expect as we planned to have dinner while at the event. Note, not all of their vendors were open during the weeknight concert we attended. We got lawn seats and it was quite crowded, but there was a little more space in the grass toward the rear and west side, and the view of the stage was still fine (it's good they have two large screens on both sides of the stage). I do like that they even have a food/drink stand and restrooms inside of the amphitheatre, in the back, in addition to the ones outside the arena. The stars of the show were amazing, the five brothers together performing the awesome music of the great Bob Marley. Three Little Birds reminded the engaged audience not to worry about a thing. And love was in the air with the encore of Could You Be Loved and One Love. Great way to end the night. read more

We haven't been here in years and it was about time to check it out again since Earth Wind and Fire and Chicago were playing together. I found two seats on the Flat Floor, Section 2, Row JJ, seats 103 and 104, which are great seats directly facing the stage. I received a few emails and phone calls about arriving early to the venue saying that the concert was sold out and told to arrive early due to the traffic so we got there before 6 pm and parked in the free lot and yes there was traffic getting into the venue but it was all orderly. Then we looked for markings to find our car and saw we were in F1. There was a very long line to get into the gates and it was uphill all the way. So it was good exercise to walk uphill. When we finally got to the top, there were 3 lines, fast lane, line with bags and line without bags. We went in the line with bags as I brought a clear plastic bag specifically for stadium and concerts so we could bring in our water bottles, food and my clutch bag. I forgot about the water in my Kleen water bottle so that had to be emptied out. Other than that it was smooth sailing and we walked and walked until we reached the food trucks and concessions. We were looking for the Yeti water station and found it and filled up my Kleen water bottle with ice cold water. Then onto the seats which were on the Flat Floor and we asked a staff member and she told us to go past the VIP section down to the floor. It was easy peasy and I got my steps in. We enjoyed the show; however, the people in front of us kept standing up to take videos and it was hard to take videos and photos as the flat floor is not on an incline so anyone who sits in front of you who is taller may be blocking your view. read more

Came here for the first time in August 2025 for Big Time Rush concert and I was super afraid of the parking situation especially reading all of the reviews. I think we were very lucky...we arrived about 30 minutes after the opened started and the premium parking was full, so we were in the general area and I was surprised that we did not have to pay (and there were workers directing traffic - which was nice). The walk from the parking area to the entrance wasn't too bad, maybe about 5 minutes uphill. They scanned the tickets and our section was 204, which was another small walk uphill. Thank god the weather was cool and now too hot. The lines for the food and drink were very short which was great! The restrooms were bigger than I expected and actual stalls and running water (thank goodness). The venue semi reminds me of Shoreline at Mountain View. Seats were great and concert was great too. Leaving the venue was fine, and there was a little bit of traffic leaving, but it was not as bad as driving in. When we left, there was not a lot of workers directing traffic anymore, but luckily, the crowd was nice and respectful and did a pattern (because the exit merged into one lane). I can see for other concerts how the parking could be a hot mess, but I'm glad I didn't experience that! read more

Great acoustic for being a large venue. Free water! Yay! The only bad thing is the restroom situation. You have to go to stairs on either the end of all the seating or walk up a grassy hill...slippery and unsafe. I'm surprised people don't fall when climbing up to get to the restrooms. Also the vendors can be annoying as they loudly shout trying to sell their drinks, etc. read more

I saw a concert at the Concord Toyota Pavilion and had a good time. The venue itself has a nice layout, and the sound quality was surprisingly good for an outdoor amphitheater. Our seats in the lower section had a great view of the stage, and the vibe was energetic. That said, a few things kept this from being a 4- or 5-star experience. Parking took a while. Food and drinks were overpriced (as expected) but also pretty underwhelming in quality. Bathrooms were clean enough early on, but got messy quickly. Overall, it's a decent venue with room for improvement. If you're seeing a band you love, it's worth it, just plan ahead for the logistics. read more

This might be my favorite concert venue so far. We got there about a half hour after doors, so parking was easy (and free!) and the line to get in was quick. Leaving was a bit of a nightmare - they didn't have anyone directing traffic on the side that people were leaving, so it took us literally a half hour to move. They ended up opening the bus lane and let a few of us out that way, so thankfully we weren't stuck for hours. I loved how spread out the vendors were - great selection of food trucks and stadium food and (stupidly overpriced) drinks. Lines all moved quickly. The seats in the stadium were really comfortable for being plastic stadium seats, and they were roomy! I hope to attend a concert here again. read more

I really wanted to like this venue. I like outside venues that are tucked away. I've learned with my experience with The Shoreline that you get to the venue early. As parking is a bit tricky. You don't want to park so far out that because after a night of dancing, singing and drinking to have to walk back to your car is a task in it of itself. So we arrived about an hour and a half before the start of the show. They direct you to your parking space. Leaves people from parking too dang close. You gotta squeeze in and out of your car. So that was nice. Also, take a photo of the nearest parking sign that usually notes a letter or number or a combo of both. So you can find your car later. This is to assume you've ensured your phone is charged to 100. Ladies, with venues such as these, you can't take in a purse larger than an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper and sometimes smaller. What I liked about this place is they have an actual NO Bags line. Which had no line at all, and we zipped thru. If you have virtual tickets make sure you got them pulled up on your phone by the time you get up to the qr code reader..no one wants to stand behind someone trying to rifle through their phone. Just be courteous. So we get through and figure we have to walk to the right, which is a slight incline up a hill. Not bad before the start of the show but I did wonder how some of these females in their heels was gonna make it down at the end of the night. The first booth we come across as we got to the top was a chair rental booth. Chair rentals was $10. We got seats so didn't need the chairs. Then it opens up to drink booths and a large food/bevvie wall. Bathrooms to the right and were maintained well. I used the restroom twice and both times there was a lady in their tidying up. We grabbed a couple of waters (liquid death) and their bottomless popcorn. Found our seats and just hung out. It was 6:45 when we got to our seats and show started at 7:30. No stress..no fuss...just sat and enjoyed the cool breeze and scrolled on our phones. Seats started filling in but even an hour into the show it didn't seem as if the seats were filled. Then slowly but surely they did and I think it was people from the lawn trickling down. The seating was funny. It seemed as if the seats in front if you are lower but they aren't that much lower. So when the people in front of you stand up its hard to see the stage and sometimes the large TV monitors. Not conducive to concert enjoyment when you are short like me. It was a little annoying to find out the people in front of you weren't even supposed to be there, so a little crowd control would have been nice. Next time I guess I just need to get tickets right behind the wall so no one is seated in front of me. Also, no one is mindful of the no smoking, so if that's an issue for you then I suggest don't do the outside venues. You won't be able to escape it. Leaving at the end of the night was definitely as expected. Stay seated and let the first wave of people leave. Unless you want to be shuffling out with a crowd and have the possibility of getting your food stepped on or a drink spilled on you by a drunk person. As we are leaving the Mexican hot dog carts are lined up and busy. $10 a hot dog majority of them took Venmo, etc. Leaving the parking lot is a nightmare..for most venues. So be patient and expect the slow crawl out or hangout in your car and tailgate. The lack of a complete 5 stars is the lack of crowd control and the way the seats are set up. Although don't know if they can even change that because the seats are bolted down. Employees were friendly and answered questions thoroughly. If I come back I'll just need to remember which seats to choose. read more

Managed to score $25 tickets to see Garbage and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on a Tuesday night. Drove from SF. Their opener started at 7pm. We left the city at around 6:30pm and got to the parking lot by 7:30pm. If we had left earlier we would have been in traffic another 20-30 mins. Parking was free. Parked in section E2, and the walk up the hill to the pavilion wasn't bad at all. We didn't have any bags with us, just a couple of blankets so the line to get in was quick. We didn't even go through the metal detector and no one checked our blankets to see if we tried to smuggle anything in (which we didn't!). Check the website or their IG page to see what is allowed before you attend so their aren't any surprises. Drinks are expensive. They take cashless payments. Check the weather before hand, it might get cold at night. Wish they sold hot drinks. I brought a reusable plastic rolled up bottle so filled it up at the water fountain next to the restrooms. The water fountain was dirty. The food stands was near the restrooms and next to the pavilion. Got the nachos - $10 + smoked brisket for $5 additional. Good munchies but they don't have any utensils, so take lots of napkins. Once seated there's staff going around selling popcorn, beer, cotton candy and churros. The churros was warm but by the time it got to me it got cold quick. If you're sensitive to loud music remember to bring concert ear plugs. We enjoyed the show and we always leave 2 songs before the show ends so we can get out of the parking lot quicker. Got back to SF in 50mins. read more

The Good: Free Parking (and they have shuttle service). The venue is visually stunning and the sound is great no matter where you are. The bad: no matter what you see online, you cannot bring a lawn chair if you are planning to sit on the lawn, and they do rent chairs for $20, I recommend you prepay because you cannot buy when at the show. Of course the food is overpriced as expected. You can bring food in, but it has to be a clear bag. read more

Came here for an Earth, Wind, and Fire concert. The venue was pretty solid with good acoustics. Drinks were of course over-priced, but what venue isn't nowadays? The food variety was nice to see, but didn't partake. My main issue was the parking, lines, and staff directing traffic. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but there were definitely too few to ensure folks knew where to go and which lines to go in. There were also folks needed at the crosswalks at night to ensure folks made it safely across the street with all the speedy cars. The parking situation was pretty stressful. You're guaranteed to wait for quite some time in lines before getting to the parking lot and a spot. We got nearby around 6:10pm, and by the time we parked, got in line, got drinks, and got to our seats, it was 7:15pm, 15 minutes from the concert start time. All to say: get there early! read more

It'd been 20+ years since seeing a concert here so had no real expectations. I was happily surprised and delighted with just about every aspect that the venue offered. Parking was simple and organized (arrival AND departure), security and entry was efficient, directional signage was clear, restrooms were clean, plenty of food and drink options with enough staff to keep lines moving. I live within a mile from the Pavilion. So I've seen many many concerts here. I've mainly gotten lawn tickets because of them being so much cheaper than seats. On Friday night My Husband and I saw whiskey Myers, and went all out to get seats. Pretty Good seats! The concert itself was phenomenal. I didn't have anybody rowdy or disrespectful around me. The lighting, sound, TV screens and graphics were so damn awesome.!!! Lots of friendly staff everywhere. My Husband and I quit drinking, so it was really cool to see lemonade stands that also sold pretzels with cheese and churros! But the CHAIRRRRRRS. Lawd, the chairs... My only gripe is how small and narrow the fucking seats are. My husband, an average sized man, was bumping elbows and legs with the man next to him. Luckily, I was on the end, but getting beat down on by the sun and being super super cramped next to my husband as he's sweating and hot too. It was NOT the biz. The seats are unrealistically small. And I'm not talking about just for someone like me with booty. I mean like anybody unless you're a middle school kid, everybody was packed in like sardines and it was extremely uncomfortable. Honestly, I can't even believe how these seats were when people pay good money to sit in them. I saw a guy a couple rows up, stand up and fight the seats apart so he could have a little space. My husband and I tried this but we were unsuccessful. I mean total SARDINES. You are guaranteed to go to second base with the stranger next to you just trying to adjust yourself to get comfortable. Big booty girls, you need a chair and a half so buy 2 seats next time. Step up your game, Concord Pavilion! read more

Came here to watch some throwback 90s jams with Jodeci and SWV. It really sucks getting here. No real public transportation options. Traffic is bad. I took an Uber and had him drop me at a nearby strip mall. Boy. It was an uphill climb. Literally. Drinks are ridiculous. But expected. To the lady who I bought a Konda beer from for $20 snickered at me for not leaving a tip (even though all you did was turn around to grab it and pop open the tab), up yours. Blame your bosses for not sharing in the 3,000 percent markup. Other than that it was such a great night. Awesome vibes. Since it was a decidedly older crowd, there was not much hassle going around. You also get free contact high. Weed all around. Oh, for the gents, just be aware. When you're taking a leak in the urinals, expects ladies to walk past you. It's quite the haul to get here from the South Bay, but once our journey was complete, it was worth the drive. Venues like this are always going to have a traffic backup to get into, and this was no different. But once you're out of the car, it's a pretty organized system to get in. I liked how they had a decent amount of drink and food options, so none of the lines got too long. The main issue for us was the sound system. They were blasting the music so loud that the first two artists you could not hear the lyrics well. It was so loud it was uncomfortable. We had seats under the overhang. The speakers sounded muffled and roared the instruments at ear killing levels that drowned out the singers voice. It did get better when the headliner artist Lainey Wilson came out. Her voice shined and cut through the background well. Lainey was fantastic. That said, I definitely would have preferred less volume and higher quality sound. I don't need to feel like we are at a heavy metal concert when we attend a country concert. read more

I really like this venue. Its easy to get to, parking is good if you get here early enough for a concert. Super easy to get to your seat and pick up a lawn chair ($12) if you need one. Super friendly concessions and staff who bring around drinks and snacks. Also, clean bathrooms! And well stocked bathrooms! That was a huge plus for me! We ordered from the Mexican food truck which I liked the food truck idea for folks who want something other than a burger or fries. I had a chicken burrito which was pricy ($14) but worth it to me because it was HUGE and I was full all night. I also had a cocktail that was really good and came in a cute shaker that I took home. I also liked the fact that they had people helping to guide you into parking spots and at the end, clearly marked exits so we were out of there in 10 minutes! Minus one star as the rules state you cannot bring bags or backpacks so I crammed everything I needed into a small wallet and clear ziplock bags and I found others around me had grocery bags and large backpacks. Whatttt? They should enforce the rules a bit more. However, all in all, we had a great experience this past weekend and look forward to another event here in the future. read more

Live Nation has let The Pavilion degrade to unacceptable levels. We have attended many concerts there but after last night's fiasco, we won't be attending any more. After buying tickets for the concert, we also paid $150 for preferred parking because someone in our group had just broken her arm and didn't want to have to walk a long way. We did get preferred parking (although they directed us to the wrong lot), we found that in order to get into the closest entrance to the lot, we would have had to pay another $50 per person so we had to go to the regular line which stretched almost all the way to Ygnacio Valley Road! Because of that we only heard one of Men at Work's songs. Also, because we knew we couldn't bring in food we were planning on getting food there. Unless you were planning on an alcoholic beverage for your dinner, the choices were bleak...and expensive. $19 for a double cheeseburger?! There was that, pizza or a tiny chicken wrap where it looked like they used frozen, breaded chicken strips from Safeway. The one song we heard from Men at Work we enjoyed, Christopher Cross was the highlight (although whoever did the lighting kept aiming bright white spotlights into the audience directly into our eyes) and during Toto's performance I kept getting notifications on my Apple Watch that the decibel levels were so high that there could be hearing loss. I give this a solid 3.5. As far as access it blocks up pretty bad and it's easier to park about 1-2 miles away and walk. They have bizarre "anti-tailgating" rules like no food or drinks are allowed to be consumed in the parking lot unless it has been purchased on site. There is definitely plenty of parking, but there is a crappy system in place for people coming and going, creating crazy backups. The concessions move pretty quickly but there should 100% be a system to make sure people don't get wasted. They sell 24 oz beers & hard Seltzer's and full bottles of wine so there should be some accountability on the venue for over consumption. I saw a LOT of fall down drunk people, including women vomiting profusely in the restroom (most of it on the floor.) The bathrooms moved pretty quickly and they were also pretty clean. The acoustics were okay. About what you'd expect for an Ampitheatre but they did seem to have some sound issues for a bit. I was glad we ditched our Uber at Safeway and walked/ran because it took about 30 minutes to get in. Once you get to the parking area, you still have a LONG uphill walk to the venue. It would be incredibly helpful if the website had a "COVID 19 Policy" section or something that listed all of the current policies and rules. I wouldn't come back here again since it's not super convenient but if I couldn't see my favorite artist anywhere else I would suffer the disorganization of the traffic situation. read more

Super well-kept and organized venue and the staff are just ON TOP of everything. Ignore the porta-potties, there's a building in the food court area (right next to the pavilion/concert area) that has lots of clean stalls, sinks, and indoor plumbing. Hilariously enough, there were two managers inside the two parts of the women's bathroom after the concert to direct the foot traffic, basically calling out which stalls were available in which rows. Safe to say, that had to be the fastest line for the women's bathroom I've ever been through post-event. Lots of general parking and a lot of helpful traffic directors who are super helpful in helping you get to where you need to go. However, parking DOES cost a chunk. I would instead recommend either a drop-off or catching the free shuttle that goes from the Concord BART station to the Pavilion (becomes available an hour and a half before the concert starts). The BART route is convenient in that if you're looking for someplace to eat, Todos Santos Plaza (kind of a town green situation and is surrounded by shops and restaurants) is just down the street from the station. Would recommend getting there early, as the line was literally down the hill and the length of an entire lot. I got lucky in that the Lindsey Stirling concert had a deal with T-Mobile so people who had T-Mobile were put on a fast lane for free (though maybe that's a deal with the Pavilion itself?). They have a new bag policy that only allows clear see-through bags of a certain size and really small, non-see-through bags (about the size of a hand) that can pretty much only fit a phone. Would recommend just altogether going without a bag as you can then go through the express lane when you get to security. Also, when you get INTO the concert area to find your seat, have your ticket out. The security guards and ushers will insist on seeing it, and not just take your word for which seat is yours. Super helpful though. Food, drink, and merch stalls are clearly labeled, definitely expensive. There was even a really clearly labeled stall for pre-rented chairs and blankets. If you rushed directly to your seat, no worries, they have walking food vendors with cotton candy, popcorn, beer, water, and lemonade along with a credit card machine for less contact. If you want more specific items like cocktails and specific kinds of drinks, however, you'll need to go back up to the food court area to get it yourself. Overall, a wonderful venue for an event. Really appreciate everyone there. Special kudos to the security and staff who seemed to be doubling as security, both inside and outside the Pavilion. They were friendly but were really watching out for people as they were leaving. This is great because drinks and the general location are up in the hills, so things were a bit dark on the way out when we get to the evening time. When my ride got there to pick me up and was heading over to me, one of the staff stopped him halfway over and made sure I knew who he was. read more

This is my favorite venue. Why? Because although it can hold large crowds and get really great acts it still feels pretty intimate. The staff is always friendly, the parking is easy and FREE, and I rarely see lines for concessions and bathrooms. Also, if you wander up above lawn area you get a beautiful view of Mount Diablo and can still hear the music quite nicely. read more

Fun people and everyone had a sense of humor and community. Only complaint is prices and sound check. It was decent this time, no crackling but sometimes the voice was lower than the music. I have worked concerts as event staff (Greek Theater, Oakland Arena, etc.), so I know the importance of enforcing rules and the types of people you have to deal with.  And over the years, I've had mostly positive experiences (outside of long lines to check in, especially since they added screening and the electronic scanning of tickets). 99% of the time the staff at Concord has been friendly, helpful - even when dealing with hordes of people. However, on May 20 one of the Live Nations staff was capriciously draconian & rude. I had a purse that I've brought to Chase, Concord, Shorline & many other venues over the years, with NO issues in the past. It absolutely was *under* their posted size limit (12x9).   I passed through bag check and the first attendent did a very diligant check of every pocket and items.  He passed me. However, right after that there a second guy (older, stocky, dark hair) said ' you cant' bring that in, it's a backpack". It was one of those TINY mini-backpacks that were popular in the 90's, not a school size backpack.  I explained it was my purse.  He said, "it's too big".  I asked what the sizing rules were I was sure I was within the limits.  NO ANSWER. I asked if it could be measured to show it's below the limit.  NO RESPONSE.  He just told me I had to leave it at bag check (not something I felt comfortable with) OR put it in my car (also didn't seem like a safe option). If we hadn't just driven 2 hours to get to this concert, I would have left.  The other staff were very nice, at least 2 even apologized for the guy on the power trip. As I came back through, I saw him try to divert someone else for a 2nd bag check, right after the first bag check) and claimed the first guy was "too nice" when the patron explained they had already been checked. (The first guy was having people open compartments and checking everything, he was truly doing a thorough & responsible job!) Again, I understand the need for rules & safety, I've worked events for political/ highly controversial figures where there was a concern of violence. I've worked some punk & metal concerts facing drunk & combative attendees. But, I really don't think someone attending a Simple Minds concert was worthy of that level of obstenate & overly prescriptive behavior. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe he likes being a big powerful man to women ; maybe he didn't like the anti-facist shirt I was wearing, or something about the person of color he tried to recheck, -- whatever the reason, this wasn't the professional behavior that I expect from event staff. Perhaps if I'd been attending a controversial speaker or something with a reasonable threat that meant rigidly over-enforcing the rules -- but this seemed like a ridiculous over reaction to a mellow older crowd just there to see an old 80's band. Othe than that, the venue is pretty good (though they don't always turn on the cameras for the opening act). Parking is free! Water is overpriced, as with most venues (I think it was $8 last time I was there). So if you're willing to battle the traffic there, it's generally a good show. read more

Love having a concert venue so close to home! I doubt I would have seen as many concerts if it weren't for here! My latest trip was for Tears for Fears with the VIP experience! First off buy the premier parking package! The ability to skip the line and zoom up to a special entrance is worth it's weight in gold! You get to go into Gate C where there was no wait and gets you parked up and close to the gate. Then with the VIP experience we had a special entrance that again had no line! Score! We headed straight to the VIP lounge where there is a private bar, bites and bathrooms for you to enjoy! There is an amazing view of Mount Diablo too! To me the private bathrooms alone are absolutely worth it! Then when you are ready to watch the show you head down to your VIP box seats that have spacious room and cushioned chairs! Did I mention they have table side service! Thats right! More alcohol or bites on demand without needing to get up! And the view of the stage is amazing! The VIP experience can not be beat here. read more

Go to come here mid week in June to see Santana and earth wind and fire headlining for him. We have never ever been here before it was our first time. There is free general emissions parking and the parking opens an hour and a half before the event. You park there and then you walk up the hill to go through the gates to the pavilion. Walking up there the view is pretty. You walking to the security line and for those who have bags have their bags looked at, just make sure it is a clear bag and it's had to be 12x12x16 max. You can bring up to a quart of water in a clear container, you can also pack snacks but everything has to be in a clear bag and it has to be in a gallon bag or smaller, you can also bring lawn chairs if you're sitting on the lawn. It is very very spacious outdoor concert area it seats to just over 13,000 people. They have a variety of food and drinks inside from hotdogs and burgers pretzels, non-alcoholic drinks and regular drinks. They have people in Red shirts working everywhere to show you where your seats are cause it can get confusing. I like that all the seats below 200 is pretty much covered by an awning, and because the sunsets behind you you get a cool breeze. And if you sit in the lower section they have vendors who walk around and sell alcoholic nonalcoholic drinks and snacks which makes it very convenient if you don't want to walk all the way back to the top at the first concession stand and drink area with the bathrooms. And even if you're out on the lawn, they have a lawn bar out there and the dog haus restaurant and restrooms as well. The sound system there is really great you can definitely hear everything music is definitely loud they have large screens on stage and on the side for part of the show. Earth wind and fire came on and everybody was on their feet and clapping and singing and having a great time. And when the sun settled Santana came alive on the show with his light show in the background. It was a good time and you could tell everybody else was having an amazing time around you too because everyone's there to share the same thing and the love of the music that they're there to see. Everyone is so nice there :) I can see why people who live around here can definitely do season tickets or partial event holders. It's a pretty cool thing to go to and even more great to share with friends and family depending on the event. We told ourselves we will definitely be back here again for another event in the future. read more

Attending shows here for about 30 years and I can say that it's better than ever. Parking is similar to other music venues, you pay a bit more than you expect to park on fields of gravel and then take a bit of a hike to the venue. Food and drink options are about average for the Bay Area, but you won't find any famous name restaurants or celebrity chefs represented. Envision burgers and a cornucopia of fried things. The actual stage is pleasing to experience. A modest size, the stage is in a covered pavilion open on several sides to the hillside and nature. Lawn seating covers the hillside and there are a few food and drink areas to help reduce waits. Some friends took us to a show last Summer and they had box seating. That comes with vip parking and a private lounge area with food, drinks (cash bar) and uncrowded restrooms. If you're looking to see a show and want a special experience I absolutely recommend this option. read more

As far as concerts go, we really enjoy coming to the pavilion. The lawn is a great place to sit and see a show and the venue isn't too big. I do like that parking is now included in the price of a ticket unless you wanna pay for VIP parking. If at all possible, I recommend paying for lawn chair, rentals ahead of time. They haven't gone back to pre-Covid days when you could bring in your own chairs, which is preferable. I found a huge discrepancy in the cost of the chair rentals. When pre-reserving online, chairs are $12. At the show they're $20. Last night friends went to the rental stand at the back of the lawn and they were told they charge per minute. I've never heard that before, but they were going to be charged $40 each for a chair. It's really ridiculous. Once you add that to the cost of the lawn seating, you could probably get a fairly decent reserved seat. Save yourselves money. Rent the chairs, online ahead of time, bring in an empty water bottle that you can fill for free, if you're a designated driver, you can have free sodas all night long. We bring in our own food and unopened water bottles. The cost of everything once you get into the venue is outrageous. Also be aware they do not accept cash anywhere. Merch also now charges sales tax. read more

I really enjoyed this venue. The parking lot is a little steep the farther back you need to park so make sure to get there early. If you're walking up to the lawn, there's a little walk up a hill that gives you a cool view of the area. The lawn is pretty big and there's some good food and drink options here. We got upgraded to the pit for free at the beginning of the show which was very cool. read more
