Outside of the farm stand

I'm absolutely in love with this place! They have a lovely local farm stand on-site where I found the most beautiful pumpkin, along with a wonderful selection of local favorites -- fresh honey, artisan coffee, and delicious sourdough bread. Fun fact the owner was a florist and does arrangements for the farm stand. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and incredibly family-friendly. The property also features Stardust Sanctuary, offering the perfect photo opportunity with the sweetest animals in the background. You can even host events here, making it an extra special place to gather and celebrate. Be sure to check out their website for upcoming seasonal events. Such a charming spot and a true hidden gem in the community!

For Mother's Day, my family visited this beautiful farm and enjoyed a tour around the grounds. We had such a wonderful experience! Our guide was incredibly kind, and we got the chance to pet and feed sheep, alpacas, and cows. There were also horses, ducks, and donkeys to see throughout the farm. You can truly tell the animals are well cared for and loved. My family had an amazing time, and seeing how impressed my nephew was with all the animals and the kids area made the day even more special. Highly recommend this precious farm!

This place is so cute! We caught a tour at the end of the day and my daughter had so much fun feeding the alpacas. The staff were very friendly and the farm stand was so cute!

Writing a review as an event photographer. This place is a hidden gem! The event was for a Pilates/Wellness event with post workout animal visits! - not too many venues let visitors interact with the animals on location so this was very exciting! -very cute and well stocked self service market (I bought granola and loved it) -there was staff onsite and visible (which to me is a good sign!) -the variety of animals was amazing and they all looked so healthy! Alpacas, chickens, cows, horses, a donkey, pigs, and even cats! - so many chances for beautiful photos - I loved the contrasts of beautiful brown hills to the green trees across from each other. Me and my partner left the event looking for an excuse to have an event here. Looking at the prices I appreciate the transparency and (in my opinion) affordable prices.

Playground area.

This venue is so so stunningly beautiful. They did such a good job with it. It costs $20 to get in and you will need a reservation, but once you get in you can bring your own picnic or enjoy their farmstand snacks. Our kids absolutely loved it! I wish I wasn't already married because it's the perfect wedding venue. The owner is soo nice and takes a lot of pride in his family's business and property, and it shows in the details. I can't wait to go back!!!!

We had our wedding at Clayton Valley Farms and it was truly the most beautiful, unforgettable day! From the moment we arrived, the venue took our breath away. The grounds are stunning--lush greenery, open skies, and a peaceful charm that feels both elegant and down-to-earth. It provided the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. The bridal suite and groom's suite were absolutely stunning. They were spacious, beautifully designed, and gave us such a comfortable place to get ready and enjoy those special pre-ceremony moments. The accommodations were amazing and made us feel so cared for throughout the day. Michael and Jamie were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were attentive, professional, and so accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I never once felt stressed about the details on the day-of because they were right there ensuring everything flowed perfectly. Our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the space was and how magical the atmosphere felt. The farm setting created such a warm and intimate vibe while still feeling spacious enough for everyone to relax and celebrate. If you're looking for a venue that's naturally beautiful, well cared-for, and managed by a team who genuinely wants you to have the best experience possible, I can't recommend Clayton Valley Farms enough. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more.

Maybe book this company for your next corporate event. Those things shouldn't have to be painful. These awful retreats where you are stuck with your boss and coworkers out in the woods without cell phone coverage. Trust falls and all sorts of other nonsense. Kids birthday parties - reminds me of a recreation of Mrs Doubfire.... now he knew how to have fun - you could recreate that scene from the movie. Rabbits and all sorts of other little friendly animals. One little guy stuffed his nose in the hay and got it all over his face - and one of the caretakers was quick to brush all that away and make him beautiful again. Every piece of fur perfectly in place. Little kids need this sort of experience. Too much cell phones, video games, TicTac. Don't let your kid turn into a zombie in front of the television - get some petting zoo action!!

It gets crowded on the weekends so be prepared for lines. This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. Looking forward to truly enjoying the patch next year with more time. Thank you G&M Farms for the memories! Still finding little corn kernels ;)

I've been meaning to write this review for a long time but life has a way of getting away from you…read more I took two blocks of lessons with All Seasons Horse Riding and their team is phenomenal. I had and rode horses as a kid but it had been a good 20 years since my last ride and I'd lost all the skills and confidence I once had. All Seasons helped me build that confidence right back up. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, patient and approachable. Every lesson there seriously felt like therapy. Just being around the horses, the kind folks and learning without a ton of pressure was always so nice. They make it a point to end each session on a high note - it's good for the horses and for you as a rider. During extra hot or rainy days, sometimes the riding lessons would be canceled but more often than not, the lesson would just be horsemanship and/or groundwork. I know some people only want the riding parts of the lessons but having instructors that can teach you the horsemanship and groundwork techniques is invaluable. You build so much more skill and appreciation for the horses that way. It allows you to actually foster relationships with the horses too. I enjoyed that aspect so much that sometimes I'd request those lessons even if the weather was good to ride. I had to take a break due to my own budget constraints but i will be back! The lessons are absolutely fairly priced and worth every dollar.
