Very cool little local beer & wine bar! Very nice selection of local beers from a range of smaller breweries with quite a few rotating taps. A decent wine list as well. Chill vibe with minimalist decor. Fun and friendly feel, and friendly and helpful staff. The food menu has a lot of interesting items on it. We had the pretzel and cheese which tasted like microwaved from frozen from Costco, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it went well with the beer. Great vibes all around! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The patrons were just as nice. Cute little neighborhood hang out. Plenty of seating. The outdoor deck was great on a mild Fall evening with my favorite mix of music, country and 90s R&B. Love that it's so close. Tons of parking. We ordered pizza from our favorite place, Freewheel Pizza Co. They deliver! They're just down the way and the staff walked the pizza over. This place was so not what we expected with the name "Roadside 22," LOL. My wife and I came here for the first time and were very impressed, like a little gem of a place in an otherwise bland area of Clayton. Wine and beer only, but the espresso martini is top notch! Bbq was absolutely delicious. Wish it was a little less expensive but bbq has always been like that and this place is better than most. It was truly delicious. Really wanted more. It's tucked away by Walgreens so it's tough location no doubt. We live close so we see it and hear it on weekends. They have live music or live singing I should say. Some of them sound fantastic too. Went for Singo, such a good time and it's every Saturday night. Service is great. Everyone is always friendly. It is a real spot with real people and they are all locals! The owner supports small businesses, gives back to the community and does so much for our first responders and our teachers too! How refreshing to see a new, locally owned small business, and if beer and wine are your go-to drinks, this is the place to be. Very welcoming and friendly staff and like my daughter said; it feels like you are visiting your best friend's house. They offer a very limited selection of very basic sandwiches and other simple snacks. They do let you bring your own food, but I think this place would do better in the long run, if they'd expand their food options to a higher standard. Roadside offers a-lot of fun activities such as wine tastings, trivia nights, Bingo nights and much more. Not a restaurant. This "cafe" had worse service than some food courts I've enjoyed. The drinks were overpriced, the food was abysmal (read high school cafeteria), the atmosphere was designed exclusively for wealthy white women, and the owner sat there playing bingo as I was served the wrong food, waited for 25 minutes for a grilled cheese, and drank overpriced watered down mimosas. I was excited to check out a new spot in Claycord showed up around 330 to grab a beer with a buddy and that's about all you get. Beer wine only a nice parkette Constructed above the parking lot for outdoor seating, although no smoking is allowed, which is a bad thing for me .if I am paying $10 for a draft beer I don't want to be separated from my beverage while smoking, but others may find this attractive. As it was Tuesday, the website said tacos and trivia although that did not start until 6 PM so was sad I didn't get to have a taco for my early day happy hour. apparently half the space could be rented out for a private events, but other than that nothing to see hear. it would shock me if they survived one year. read more

There's not a lot of options in Clayton, so it's nice to see a place like this open. It has a nice selection of beer and wine, and a nice outdoor sitting area. The employees are very friendly and were offering people drink recommendations. I think for this place to thrive/survive I'd like to see them add craft cocktails and more food options. My Wife and I decided to try this new restaurant, they had a selection of food which we filled out paperwork to order. We ordered our drinks and waited for about an hour for our food, which never showed up. I went up to the front and asked them how much longer for our order? and they asked if we even ordered the the food, which this was the same employee that took our order! she went into the back and found the tag and said sorry they put the order it in the already made pile. She said she would have the order to us in a few minutes since it was only a hot dog and a sandwich. I went back a half an hour later and asked again for an update. The same employee said you didn't get your food yet for my??? So I asked to pay my tab and leave, and she had the nerve to ask if it's ready would you like us to put it in a to go box? I replied very nicely no, just the check please. If you go here I would advise bringing your own food, there is no customer service. read more
