I scheduled a test drive appointment for a RAV4 and came in ready to buy, and they had zero available models to drive. They should have called to let me know that before I showed up for my appointment. When I asked about a fleet vehicle that was sitting right there on the lot, the manager refused to let me take it even for a quick loop around the lot -- not on the street, just the lot. I am upset because I definitely was ready to buy the car if it passed the test drive. I recommend avoiding this location and going to a lot that wants to actually sell you a car. We had a preapproval letter from our credit union and all week we were told we were good to go with the letter. Once we were ready to sign papers the manager came out and said he could not sell us the vehicle with the preapproval letter he needed a check in the amount of the vehicle before we could purchase. Worst communication I've ever experienced at any business. My car broke down and I had it towed here because it was the closest Toyota to us. I saw how low rated it was but was hopeful it was just because people were stressed about their broken cars. When I left the told me that they would call me later that day. They did not. I didn't call them that day to allow them time to check it out. However I called several times every day after for 3 days and was put on hold for hours at a time. There was no communication at at some point the tried to tell me that they did not have my car or my phone number in their system. They then told me that had not even looked at my car once they found it, however I got a notification from my Bouncie that it was unplugged, replugged, and unplugged again. When I finally was able to get a call back it was after basically begging them to give me some kind of information. They called back 15 minutes later and told me they had not figured out wha was wrong with the car and were still looking. After another 20 minutes, suddenly, a new phone call They figured it out! And them figuring it out was saying my car was done and I should just buy a new one. The explanation was not through and it felt like the person telling me did not know what they were talking about. Safe to say we are towing it to a different place to check it out again. Even if you break down for some reason close to here. I Highly recommend taking it to another Toyota dealership. read more

Do not purchase a used car from this dealership. I was told twice that it went through inspection. I bought it on a Saturday and couldn't pick it up until Monday because they needed to replace the air compressor. That should have been a sign. Seven days later my check engine might comes on and the next morning I was told they couldn't complete my registration because the emissions was not completed. I'm at 5 days without a vehicle without a loaner. I was told that could pick up my vehicle last Friday or Saturday and it is now Tuesday. The phones are OFF on the weekend and you're lucky if you get a call back. I called Ford yesterday and was told that they received my vehicle but it could be another 7-10 days to be assigned and seem by a service technician. Every time my daughter takes her car there for an oil change they try to tell her something is wrong with her car that needs to be fixed. We always have to check to make sure the oil was really changed before we leave because we've experienced it not being changed before. Today we took it to have the tires checked because the tire pressure light keeps coming on. The appointment was at 330pm, we sat for 2 hrs then called our service advisor Ron to see how much longer it would be and he said 20 min because they have to pull the tires off to check. Well at 6 pm we found out the car had not been looked at period. The Mgr Steve was notified and they came back 15 min later and said nothing was wrong with tires or sensors. We went to the car and could tell the tires had not been removed or checked with water for slow leak. We basically waited all that time for no service. Mgr Steve had horrible customer service!! After the initial delay, I followed up and was reassured that the part would be ordered, shipped, and that I would receive updates on its status. You ever visit a business and hours later start thinking wtf?? So last Monday I visited this dealership to take care of a vehicle purchase for my employer. Before visiting Id located a vehicle on their website I would be interested in purchasing for myself. My car caught on fire six weeks ago, so I actually need a car and since they were doing business with my employer, I felt comfortable they wouldn't try and take advantage of me. Because I was there for work purposes I had no time to handle a personal purchase and told the salesman to contact me later in the week to schedule time for me to come back and see the car I was interested in buying. By Friday afternoon, I hadn't heard from him so I called, reminded him who I was, asked him to confirm the vehicle was still there. He called me back within an hour, confirmed the vehicle was still available. We agreed on a 9am appointment for today. I arrived shortly before nine and text him I was there. He starts out telling me they were looking for the keys to the car. So I asked him then, are you sure the vehicle is here. He replies back by saying yes, I'm looking at it right now. So I say where is it, I'll go out and look at it while you find the keys. Immediately he introduces me to a manager and tells him I'm there and he needs the keys to the vehicle. After about 30 mins, he's made a copy of my ID, gotten my work/salary/vehicle preferences and a whole different manager walks up and says we don't have the vehicle but we can show you one we have. I explained I'm there for a specific color/trim and I wasn't interested in a black, white or silver car. He asked me to wait while he confirms the vehicle really isn't there. He comes back ten minutes later and tells me that indeed the vehicle is not there but they expect to have one in 25 days and I should put down a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle. I declined. The original salesperson then talks me into going out to the lot and just looking to see if there is anything else I'd like. There wasn't. So he spend another five minutes attempting to convince me to put down a deposit on a vehicle they may have in 25 days depending on how the current auto worker strike goes. We start walking back towards the building when the manager comes back out and tries to convince me the only way I'll end up with the vehicle they'd assured me on Monday, Friday and today was still on their lot would be to put down a $500 deposit. Again, I declined. Now that I've been home four hours, I'm realizing they got me outta bed at 8am on a Saturday, held me up for over an hour, had my ID and SSN and basically all their intentions were today was to get $500 outta me for a car they can even tell me when they'll have. I purchased a used Tacoma from this dealership about two years ago, and it's been a nightmare ever since. The truck already had slight scratches on the bumper, and the bumper retainer clip was missing when they sold it to me. The salesman assured me that buying a new clip would fix everything, but over time, the bumper began to sag, gaps in the panels grew larger, and the headlight brackets cracked. Recently, I brought the truck to a body shop for repairs, and they informed me that the vehicle had been in an accident and was patched up to look otherwise (see attached photos). VIN MATCHED CARFAX SAID 0 accidents. I realize now I should have looked into it sooner, but at 24/25 years old and slightly naive, I trusted that buying a used Toyota from an official dealership meant I was getting a quality vehicle. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I have strong reasons to believe they knew about the vehicle's true condition and sold it to me at a premium during the height of the COVID-19 used car market. You go in thinking you're getting a good deal and after you agree on price you're told that you have to go talk to finance and the wait is forever....before you go to finance you ask if GAP insurance is included and you're told "no, but it's only gonna add like $15 to your note"....anything to get you to sign on the dotted line....you expect to leave with your car and you're told that it's not at the dealership, but when you go talk to finance and finish the process the car will be here...Your dealer is going to go get the car now. You trade in your last car, you give a nice down payment, you talk to finance and the gap insurance does not add $15 a month....it adds way more and the pro pack that came with the car is way more than online says....its at-least double that.. you finish the process and guess what? The car is not there and it's a Saturday and you're told that the car has to be delivered and won't be there til Monday....you don't get the car until Wednesday or Thursday....you had to ask for a loaner, they keep your last tag and 3 months later it has not been returned to the state. When the car gets to the dealership, they have to apply your tint and supposedly it has paint protection and seat protection, but there is already a chip on your new paint.....avoid this place at all costs....Go to a different dealer!!!! The other key, we were told, would arrive in the mail. To our surprise, we learned only after questioning the salesperson yesterday that the key might be MONTHS in coming . . . and no 3rd party keys seem to be available. They added a $2000 "pro pack" that was bogus accessories like windshield protection and insurance deductible reimbursement for 12 mos. Then the offered me $3000 to $5000 less than Kelly Blue Book for my clean trade. They had no water, no coffee, sit you to do your business in an open area with multiple tables like a restaurant with no privacy. After waiting two hours for an oil change and tire rotation I was asked if I had the lug nut key to get the tires off to which I said yes it's in the glove box. The alert said to safely pull over and check owners manual which (all praises to the Most High) I did. I was a loyal Toyota South Atlanta customer after having bought my first Toyota there in 2008. After my last visit, I don't think I will be returning. I went into Toyota South Atlanta two weeks ago for the 40,000-mile recommended service. While there, I mentioned to the service agent that my low tire pressure light was on and asked if they could also check it for me. I was told that I had a nail in my tire but, after they pulled it out, I was told that the nail was small and it did not require a repair. I paid my bill and they sent me on my way. Two days later the low tire pressure light comes on again and stays on. The Toyota mobile app also says that my tire pressure was low. I scheduled another appointment at Toyota South Atlanta for Saturday at 10:30 am. I arrived early at 10:00 am and the only service requested was for them to check my tire pressure and determine the reason for the low tire pressure light remaining on. At 12:30 pm, the service agent reported that they found a nail in my tire and had to replace it. I said great - let's get it replaced. At 1:00 pm, the service agent told me they didn't have the tire in stock and had to send for it. I asked how long it would take and she assumed 20 minutes and an additional 15 minutes to mount it because they already had the tire "broken down". It's now 2:00 pm, and by this time I'm pissed as I've spent my day sitting in Toyota waiting for a tire repair. When speaking with the service manager, I was told they were busy and short-staffed, it was a Saturday, blah, blah, blah. He promised me that he'd have my car ready to go in 15 minutes. It was not, unfortunately! I was disappointed with my recent service visit to Toyota South. It was my last, unfortunately. read more

I wouldn't let this service department touch my vehicle. Had a small piece of trim coming undone. Took it in and was told it was fixed only to realize it was not. Was told by Konner to come back the next day and he would have his techs take care of it. Went back the next day and was told it's not covered under warranty, asked to pay 800 something dollars and told the scratches and oily handprints were already there. They even broke the trim piece more by ripping it completely off. That resulted in the plastic welds being snapped and the entire console now having to be replaced. Konner knows his techs did this and so do I. See, I have dated and time stamped photos from before I took my vehicle in the first time and second time. I have undeniable proof those techs further damaged my vehicle and this dealership has refused to own their wrong doings or make it right. They just claim another dealership did it. I suggest going elsewhere. Konner and his band of incompetent service techs don't care about the customer. read more

My insurance has lapsed over 6 times in the past year because he manually takes payments through text and imessages because he doesn't have a way to process automatically. Recently 12/2/22, Jaline used this "manual payment processing" To charge $680 of unauthorized charges to my debit card. AVOID THE SAME FATE AND DO NOT SEND J CHILDS AGENCY YOUR CARD DETAILS THROUGH THE PHONE OR IN QUICKBOOKS. If you do... make sure to request a policy number and updated details for your insurance policy. Like most of the dealership scams, a simple google search has them harassing you. I gave in and spoke with a customer rep for this dealership and made an appointment. I told the rep that I'd most likely be late but the appointment was made anyway. When I got to the dealership (6/25/21), I had an appointment with Niketa but never saw or heard of her. I met with David. David was nice and we had a great test drive. Unfortunately, David doesn't know how to properly discuss the financial process of the car buying process. He had me complete the finance application without discussing price first. When I questioned him about it, he said it doesn't do a hard inquiry or submit an application for a loan until after we discuss price. This was false--I had a hard inquiry on my credit report and I didn't purchase a car. In fact, we were $12k apart and I was ready to purchase the car in cash and was confused at why he needed me to fill out the credit application. His answers to my questions were vague and I should've done with my gut and left earlier than I did. Don't give them your business. read more

Extremely disappointed in the service today. So much that I left. I pulled up to an empty garage, no other cars but mine. At least 4 techs at desks and the valet says I am assigned to Konnor. But he's nowhere to be found. So I wait patiently in my car for 10 minutes and ask another tech if he can help me. He said you waiting on Konnor, he's at his desk. Thing is, he didn't care to greet me, only car there, after he was called to my appointment on the loudspeaker and I get up to see him playing on his phone. I took my lunch hour for this. If they are treating me this way on arrival, they will treat me this way during service and I will probably end up waiting far more than one hour. So I just left. I've owned Toyotas for over 20 years. This is not representative of the brand I've come to love. Shame. Made another appointment at a different dealership. read more
