Heater is 11 yrs old and living on borrowed time. Called a provider a major player in the area and got a quote which seemed rather high. Then called Palmerio and phone answered by the owner. Explained situation and got a ball park quote which was substantially lower than the major player. When could job be done? Answer....today I'll be over within an hour. Long story short from the time of first contact at 8:30am until new heater installed and running at 12:30 pm Elapsed time 4 hours!!! Can't beat that for service and the price was right. Might add im a student of efficiency of motion. I always watch pros when I get the chance as I might learn something I can use myself at some time. Joe certainly knows his business in this regard. Their paperwork mistake is costing me THOUSANDS!…read more I am selling my house and I hired Avanti to do the township sewer lateral inspection. Their inspector, Bennett, filled out township paperwork incorrectly. He passed the inspection noting that there were only minor issues which he told me didn't need to be worried about. Bennett noted the small issues in the document stating "These defects are small" and "Defects were noted but I do not believe this constitutes a fail". Unfortunately, he wrote these notes in the "Required Repairs" section of the document. I spoke to the township and they said, even though the document is marked passed they can't approve a document with anything written in the required repairs section. After contacting Avanti and requesting Bennett give us a corrected document, both Bennett and Avanti's Operational Manager call the township and influenced them to not accept a corrected document and require me to replace the sewer line! They did this because they would be liable if anything happened to the sewer line and the incorrectly completed document came to light. Now, the township won't accept even another company's passing inspection document and is forcing me to replace a perfectly fine sewer line! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

I selected Drainman because of the strong ratings on Yelp, and I was very happy with the outcome of the repair. Mike Ammouri, the very friendly and knowledgeable owner, came to our home to diagnose the problem on a Sunday... which was amazing in itself. Mike went through a series of troubleshooting tests to determine that the pressure in the old part of our house was fine. He also looked at the plumbing lines going into the new part of the house where the upstairs shower and sink are located, and he reported that everything looked fine. That left the water tank itself. He went upstairs with me and we conducted a few tests and he then concluded that our water holding tank was too small, thereby causing the pump to cycle on and off. It was during those cyclings that we were experiencing the severe drop down in water flow. He came out on a Sunday, provided what seemed to be an accurate diagnosis, he charged me nothing, and he's going to provide a quote for the work. On top of that, I got a new showerhead thrown in for free.

The quote was free and surprisingly there was no trip charge either. Being a Saturday, they could not obtain a replacement for my faulty shower handle cartridge, but they did temorarily disable the cartridge until it could be replaced the following Monday. I had called another company out the previous day, but they left with the faulty cartridge still leaking. So I appreciated that Roto-Rooter made the extra effort to disable the cartridge. They finished the job the following Monday on time and efficiently. I will not hesitate to use them again for my plumbing needs.
