I was fine with that. About 3 weeks rolls by and I stop in to check on the process and was told that it needed a new carburetor and they need my approval to order the part. (They never called me to ask). I went ahead and approved the part replacement and the manager told me he was going to go ahead and order it. He told me the part should arrive and be installed in about a week. After 4 more weeks of waiting, I stopped in to the location to ask about progress. I was told the manager was out for a week and could not order it, but oddly told me he got busy and forgot to order it. He went ahead and ordered the part before I left then said it should be fixed by the following week. 2 weeks later, I called to check on progress and was told my leaf blower still isn't fixed because the wrong part keeps being sent to them. 2 weeks after that, I stopped in to ask again about progress and got told that they still can't get the right part sent in to make the repair. At that point it has been almost 3 months and no repair made, so I asked my my leaf blower back and would pay some cost for them having to look into the issue. I got charged almost $94 dollars for labor to get my leaf blower back. I received it back in the same condition that I brought it in. The problem I have here is, it was just a leaf blower and I put way more effort in checking on it than I would have if I'd have just fixed it myself. These people were not very friendly at all and did not apologize once that this repair took so long. Not only that, but they never called me to get my approval on ordering the part, nor did they call me at all to update me. On top of that, they still charged me almost $100 dollars and my equipment still was not fixed after 3 months. I also reached out to the owners about my issue and was ignored. I do not recommend this business at all. Please do not support them.

On Monday July 31st 2017. My riding lawnmower experienced a mechanical issue. I called sumrall…read more(since it was still under warranty and was purchased there). They were hesitant about receiving the mower but finally agreed. I delivered the mower later that afternoon (at about 1300). They told me they would take a look at it and get back with me by the next morning. I asked them to not do any work until they contacted me. I thought I left the mower in good hands. I did not hear anything until I called them the following Wednesday. I spoke with Josh who told me that someone had tampered with the mower and that a specific part does not just fall out on its own. His accusations went on to inform me that I owed nearly $500 in parts and labor (original purchase price was approx. $1700 with only approx 51 hours total on the mower). After I insisted that I want a warranty claim opened, he reluctantly agreed. Moments later he said the company's warranty system was down and to call tomorrow. Frustrated, I called later the next afternoon (Thursday). Josh informed me that the system was still down and to call back Friday. At this point I called the manufacturer (Husqvarna) and they told me that they are sending me to a different service center ( trouble ticket 170803-003843). I called Sumrall back and told them I was coming to pick up the mower and going to a different certified repair facility. I was then told that I would be charged a "check-out" fee. I arrived and the manager Kevin then built an invoice stating that I owed the approximately $72 for the "checkout fee". I asked to speak with him privately and he said it made no difference and I chose to state that the manufacturer was sending me to another service center. Further I never agreed to any charges or fees and he said that a verbal agreement was good enough (to which I never agreed to any service or fee verbally or otherwise). I asked him to return my mower to avoid litigation. He ended the conversation by telling me to "get out of here" and closed by saying " you started this and I am ending this here and now". The manufacturer had been notified again and Husqvarna agreed to pay the "fee" in order to keep the customer happy while they look into it. As a footnote neither Kevin nor Josh even knew what style of mower was brought in i.e. Conventional riding or zero turn. Obviously no diagnostic was actually done. $35 in parts later the mower is fixed no thanks to Sumrall. I highly recommend Husqvarna but NOT Sumrall. Go up the street and the friendly folks in Wiggins will take care of you. Please see the MS Better Business Bureau complaint #12309052 for more information and resolution. Please spread the Bad word about these unscrupulous business practices and the attempt Sumerall makes to take advantage of the customer. You have been warned. Good luck!

Absolute theft. No other word for it. Charged me over $500 ($60 for fuel) to "diagnose" a 1 year…read moreold 15K mower that is under warranty. $60 in fuel!! I guess they drove it home every night or drove it to the next county. The mower had fuel diluted oil when I brought it in. They notated what Kawasaki said to check, which included ethanol fuel, contamination, water in fuel, fuel pump and a few other things. They claim to have done that, and said there wasn't enough fuel in the oil to compensate for amount. Was this done with a oil analysis? Nope. Guess they did a smell and taste test and determined it that way. They said they "drained down" the oil so I was going to send it out myself for a actual analysis. Nope. Lied. Mower has brand new fresh oil in it. Ethanol? Nope. I buy pure gas from Valero. Said there was water in the fuel. Nope. Came home and tested the fuel in my tote tank on my trailer. No water, no contaminates. Plus I have a canister filter my fuel goes through before it goes into my mowers (see photo). Asked if they did a compression and leak down test....NOPE. FIRST thing any mechanic who knows anything does when there is fuel in the oil if it isn't the pump, injector or carb. So, in the end, they stole $500 of my hard earned money I made working in 100+ degree heat to do what? Plug it into a computer and burn about 20 gallons of fuel, which didn't happen and was just more theft. I can cut 15 acres of grass and not burn $60 in fuel. So what is actually wrong with it? Well, within 30 minutes of pulling into my driveway I found it had no compression on one cylinder. Almost certainly a bad valve seal. Took me MAYBE 20 minutes to diagnose. Never, EVER, buy a mower from this place, or take it here for service.

Hands down the place to get a new tractor or keep a good one running with new parts and service.read more

I will preface this review by stating that up until today, 01 OCT 2020, I had never set foot inside…read moreof a Tractor Supply Company (TSC) store. In fact, I don 't even own a tractor. With that being said, I did however, purchase a new pickup truck this year and low and behold, it's almost time for my first oil change. My truck uses 8 quarts of 0W-20 full synthetic oil. After a little research, I opted to use Shell Rotella gas truck full synthetic oil. Shell Rotella is a popular engine oil for all makes and models of diesels (and tractors), so although this gas truck oil is "fairly" new, I wanted to use it, as the reviews for it are stellar. A quick internet search of the Metro New Orleans area revealed that TSC was one of the only places that had the 0W-20 jugs in stock. I called TSC and was greeted pleasantly on the phone by employee Jennifer. I needed two five-quart jugs and she advised that she only had 2 left, but would hold them at the counter until I got there. 45 minutes later I arrived at the store and was solemnly greeted as I walked through the doors. I saw my "reserved" oil at the cashier's booth and purchased it at a price was $3.00 cheaper (for each jug) than anywhere else, including Amazon. I didn't have time to browse the store, but there is a lot of eye candy in there. I'll be back soon.
