We even raised several from their chicks…read more I love browsing in this store because they are so well stocked for farm animals that includes horses, cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and chicks. Historically Smith's Grocery store for many years, we were also here when they opened as a feed and Hardware store in 1980 then later renamed Antioch Feed and Farm supply. It's in a well known Historical building where a commercial film was once staged. This is the only such store anywhere near this community.

I had to visit to pick up some bales of straw for a western themed event. I almost left with a live bunny rabbit. They do have chicks and bunnies for sale as well as all of the supplies you would need to care for them. The staff is super friendly and the lady there let me hang out for at least an hour playing with the rabbits! While I was there, the store was very busy with patrons picking up supplies for their livestock and gardens. I would highly recommend visiting for any of your needs.

They always have the best price and don't charge tax for livestock food. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Someone will always load your car with any big bags. I also pick up my dog's glucosamine liquid supplement which actually taste good and work quite well for her. I also switched to some reasonable premium quality dog foods not carried in other stores, ProPac senior dry and various Evangers canned. Reading the labels ensures these are high quality, and easily enables you to pick ones with proper protein / fat levels. They even offer manufacturer coupons / instant rebates which are very good deals. There is also an assortment of collars and leads from which I have purchased when I adopted a new dog. It is in a very dusty, industrial area, so it can be tricky to locate. Note their fenced metal warehouse complex and small sign in front. Also take care driving alongside big construction trucks and trailers.

You'll be treated right. My first visit was a hoot because I kept hearing what sounded like a miniature vacuum cleaner droning noise in the front display area. I actually thought this old-timey country store might even have one of those high tech computerized vacuum units patrolling the sales floor for "stuff" to clean up. Well after about 10 minutes of my perusing their interesting inventory of farm animal wares and accessories, low and behold a adult pot bellied pig rounds the corner! Now this guy is quite a good sport too I'm told. He will gladly untie your shoes for you if you let him/her? This hunk of pork is all of 3' long and his back is close to 24" of the floor. Soooo cute - but not too fluffy! The ole pig is as friendly as can be, and will make you day-visit I'm sure! That is if the chicken pecking at feed behind the front counter, or the huge (15# ?) rabbit she keeps in tow while ringing up your charge at the register doesn't! What else can I say? I enjoy the visits and always have left happier than when I entered. They also have cat and dog, and other farmer stuff products too. This bag was full of useless powdery ground up pellets throughout the entire bag's column. Emailed them a message on their site about it, no reply after over a week. I guess they dont care if much of your feed has useless powder that the animal will not eat. besides, they got their money already. Next time I will order the SAME feed/brand from the Company that starts with an "A", as they deliver with no extra charge. I figured I would patronize a local fed store, even with the $10 or so shipping. No more. Tractor, you lost a customer because of your short sighted business model of not answering to customer's concerns. PS: Yelp does not allow me to correct the address of Tractor supply. It was the one on new Port Richey, not Tampa. although, if they use the same business model of ignoring customer feedback/complaints, what does it matter(?). Theyre all the same.
