I needed prices on a 50 lb bag of White Proso Millet, and Hulled Sunflower Kernel pieces. She said they only had a 25 lb bag of sunflower seeds, at $56 higher than Amazon or any feed store in the city. They are in farm country with a long drive, it should be cheaper than high rent cities. Nope! She also sounded vague about whether they stocked 50 lb bags of sunflower seed chips. With regard to Millet, which is standard in every feed store she said they did not stock it. Her voice was very faint on the phone too, like she was spaced out. Fastest way to ruin your business is having incompetent and clueless people work in your store. She needs a cup of coffee, or drug rehab, or a change of attitude. Stay away from this place, ugh!

The staff here is always welcoming, personable and extremely helpful regarding any questions I may have. I was also very pleased to see some items that I usually purchase at tractor supply being sold here for a cheaper price! I'd also like to give a special shout out to Jordan for always being an incredible resource when it comes to anything poultry related. He is filled to the brim with knowledge is more than willing to share that knowledge which has helped a ton as a brand new chicken owner. We came on a Saturday morning and they were quite busy! It looks like they take of all types of animals from the farm to domestic, so this was one of the more unique pet store experiences. The dog food selection was limited compared to what we have back home, so we weren't able to get the exact same food we usually feed the dogs, but they had Taste of the Wild which was a brand we used to feed the dogs. Pricing was on par with what you'd pay at the bigger stores but the customer service here is what sets it apart from most pet stores. You can tell they love what they do! Parking was super easy, as they had multiple spots in front of the store. Definitely would be my go-to pet store if I lived in the area.

We always shop for our Sugar Pine Doodles families full packages here and we love knowing we're supporting local jobs by a local company not some big corporation store. We want this store to not only survive but thrive. This store is well staffed, well stocked, clean, open with a small town feel. When I speak to the staff they look at me and they aren't glazed over. They are all stylish and have pets themselves. Many live in an agriculture setting and give the best advice and always have ideas I appreciate. Stores like belong in Amador County and need to be forever. Always shop here first and tell them what you want when they don't have it. Help them improve and become the store you need for your animals.
