Rude, slow, and a complete nightmare…read more Broke a front axle on a 24hp compact tractor. Took it in to get it repaired. They said they were backed up a week. It took them two weeks to even look at it to order the parts, after I called them four times and kept getting out off with "the mechanic will call you back". They said the housing was bad, so at a cost of $600, they ordered a new one. $1300 all told. Only an hour or so of labor to assemble the housing. Two more weeks pass, and I hear nothing. I call each week and get the old "we were going to start that tomorrow". At no point in this month did they call me, except when they ordered the parts. Finally it's done. I go in on Saturday and got the part. I said I wanted to see the old housing to see what the mechanic was talking about. They brought out two different boxes because nothing was labeled, and I had to guess which parts were mine. I found them, but I was told I could not take them because the mechanic wasn't in and they weren't sure whose parts were who's. So my wife goes in the following Friday, and asks for the housing. They say I picked it up with the part. My wife explains what happened and they say no one told them. They ask her what part, and when she says the housing, they laugh in a "what do these dumb bitches know anyway" sort of tone, and say, "what part of the housing?" She calls me, and I tell her the housing is the part. She tells them that again, and suddenly they know what she's talking about. They say it was thrown out in a bin in the back, and they will go get it in a bit. No other customers there, they just didn't want to go. So she waits, and waits. Finally they return with the part. She tells them she won't be back and they laugh. I examine the housing, and there is no damage to the housing or any bearing surface. A little scuffing, some scratches, but it's in perfect shape mechanically. $600 mind you. So that's it. 5 weeks for them to replace unnecessary parts, and they were very rude to my wife about it. One of the rude employees was Les, and I don't know any other names.
