So let's talk jewelry - and what a costly pain it can be - NOT AT TRACY JEWELERS - Sean the owner was more than helpful and Shannon is an absolute doll - I needed a platinum ring sized up (of which Sean checked the entire ring for anything else it might need as the setting is vintage) and a new diamond set in an older setting - I had gone to two other jewelry stores for a quote and well - I was quoted $2200 at one place and $1000 at another - however neither other place even offered to SHOW me what the new stone setting would look like and those were literally the first words out of Sean's mouth. He ordered multiple options and we found one that worked PERFECTLY. I highly, highly, highly recommend Tracy Jewelers to ANYONE who needs any work done, or even their selection of jewelry is insane - stuff you don't see everywhere. Legitimately wont go ANYWHERE ELSE for our jewelry needs! Thanks Sean and Shannon for all your help! Once my rings are completed I'll post pictures. Tracy Jewelers was AMAZING!! My fiancé originally bought my engagement ring at a small, family owned jewelry store in Oregon before he moved back to the Spokane area. He bought the ring with a cubic zirconium stone at first because I am clumsy and wanted to make sure the setting kept up with me. We came to Tracy's to replace with a lab diamond they were fantastic!! Our sales rep was so attentive to detail and patient as we analyzed different cuts and sizes to fit my ring, and they did the replacement in less than 24 hours to get it done before family pictures!! Several weeks ago I brought in an heirloom ring set to be repaired. (Through the years, 3 rings have become incorporated together. Due to the fact that the rings are all over 80 years old, they are extremely thin and one had finally split. Shannon helped us and suggested securing the heirloom pieces with a ring guard that would sandwiched the old rings and protect them. The guard itself was beautiful and the final ring Is amazing! My husband surprised me with upgrading my diamond in my wedding ring. No special reason, just because. We went to Tracy Jewelers and it was a wonderful experience. The owner took time to educate us on diamonds, what the difference is in cut and clarity. He was patient, took his time and really cared that we were happy with our choice. He was respectful of my wedding ring and it's design and suggested diamonds that would enhance the design, not take away from it. I could not be more please. The turn around is fast also. What a lovely store and gracious staff. We really enjoyed our experience. I had an appointment at another store. They asked me to wait 30 minutes as the person I had the appointment with was too busy. I then worked with someone who showed me three options, gave no education and seemed bored with the whole process. Had an issue with another jeweler and let's just say I was upset and stressed. Called them first to see if they could do the repairs and they were so friendly and relaxed me. I was also going to look at another just in case. Walked in and was greeted by several employees and brought my ring up. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed in the service & craftsmanship I received when resizing my ring & replacing the stone at Tracy Jewelers. I had previously been to Tracy Jewelers for custom work on a pearl & necklace--which came out wonderfully--so I thought I would come to them again to get some work done on my Claddagh ring. The gem (5 mm faceted heart-shaped white sapphire) in my ring had become loose & the band needed resizing to a smaller size; I was also interested in replacing the original gem with a moonstone opal or peridot. They didn't have any faceted moonstone opals & they would have to ship in some peridots (three of them); so I dropped off my ring to be resized & they would call me to check out the peridots before placing one (in about 3-4 days). After a week of no phone calls, I called in to get an update & (after not immediately knowing where they had placed my ring & having to look for it), they had said the jeweler was about to place an opal. Except I had declined getting an opal when I initially dropped off my ring & now they were trying to place this faceted cabochon opal that had like confetti specks in it, without my approval--and they never ordered the peridots either. So, I had to leave my ring there for another 3-4 days for the peridots to come in; same setup, they would call me before placing the gem. Another week goes by, no phone calls so I call in, and after having to look for my ring again, they're about to set a peridot without having me come in to choose which peridot I wanted. Turns out, there was only ever one heart-shaped faceted peridot & it was 6 mm. Two days later, I finally have my ring back. However, I immediately noticed that the peridot isn't even straight in the setting but I was just exhausted of having to deal with this place & I wanted to keep my ring after two scares that it was lost & just not having it for over two weeks. And not even a week later of light wear, the gem in my ring was even looser than before, it is set absolutely crooked on every axis, & the bottom prongs meant to hold it are now offset & uneven; I'm too scared to even wear it now. But hey, at least it fits. read more

They refurbished several pieces of jewelry for me and did a great job . The only issue that I had with them was one of the girls told me that my pearls were not real. These were pearls that I inherited from my grandmother and they had been broken. Her pearls were a big deal and several people in my family were quite distressed that grandmothers pearls were lost.Since I liked them I went ahead and had them restrung anyways. Their pearl expert indicated they were indeed, real pearls when I picked them up . Had I not like them I probably just would've tossed them... And that just makes me sick to my stomach to think about. read more
