Reason 1 why I don't recommend: he told them that he wanted to get me a turquoise ring as well as diamond, and they told him that wasn't a good idea because "she will damage it in less than a year". Flash forward to today, my husband bought a turquoise wedding band that has NOT been damaged in the slightest way. But I had to take my diamond ring back to Clark's twice for repairs and two lost diamonds due to prongs breaking in LESS THAN 2 YEARS! Reason 2: when I took my ring back the last time, "diamond Jane" proceeded to tell me that my husband choose a setting that is known for the prongs to bend and break. HELLO?! Why would you suggest that he buy it in the first place?! Reason 3: when I questioned her about why they helped my husband choose this ring, she kept interrupting me. I blatantly told her to stop, and she told me she was "just conducting business" Reason 4: shortly after we were married (before I noticed the poor quality of the ring) I took my mother there because she wanted something special. When we got there, there was a woman behind the counter holding a yorkie dog of some sort. My mom proceeded to tell her about hers and the lady said something along the lines of "well mine is at least papered" and then "let me get you someone that will want to help you" needless to say, we didn't wait for someone to help us. Fast forward to 4 days later- I still hadn't received a "ready for pickup" email or cancellation notice, but a "your order has been picked up" email appeared (again- the order was never even filled, much less retrieved). The manager at Northtown Spokane Claire's (Rachelle) acknowledges that it was an employee issue (she says "mistake" when they were trying to cancel, but it seems more like fraud), yet she is unwilling to cancel/reverse the fraudulent charge unless we drive an hour to the mall with the original form of payment used ONLINE in the first place. Avoid this store like the plague unless you appreciate unfulfilled orders and rude, dishonest employees. I guess they figure no one would notice a small (under $10) amount. I called them to ask if it would be possible to get a replacement. They said sure, once they got the old ring back. So, once they got it back and sent me a replacement, I had that put in, but they sent me the wrong size in the new ring. So I had to then send that ring back to exchange it for the correct size. And, after two weeks of wearing the new (correctly sized ring) the gems fell out of that ring too. After this time they made it pretty clear that they were done exchanging the ring for me and this piece of jewelry was "just going to do that." Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate their willingness to refund me in the first place, but considering that none of these exchanges were caused by me/my fault and they are the ones carrying poor-quality jewelry I do not think they were in a position to respond how they did. I would not recommend buying jewelry from them. It's not worth the money.
