Sam's treated with dog treats and I am treated with coffee, and when she hosts her annual Spring Open Houses-- much more! A meatball bar, cheese, crackers, wine, exotic cocktail mixes, and more are there for customer's pickings as we shop around for all the spring things. I picked up a meaningful painting from an artist in Brooklyn! And, the first 10-20 people in receive a "goodie gift" on the way out. This year, it was a single tulip in a beautiful glass vase. - Loads of awesome items from local coffee + salts to jewelry, candles, home decor, stationery, and so much more! There are homemade chocolates, and old fashioned candies apparently bought in bulk and packaged by the sisters. Good selection, and great gift ideas. Don't leave without buying some bark. There is a wide variety of different mix-ins. Outside the shop are a rack of exquisite handmade girl's dresses. Don't leave without visiting the gift shop nearby. You will find everything from toys, collectibles, hand knit baby blankets, and home-made greeting cards. Look carefully and you just might find a treasure. I know I have found several. The stores have limited hours, so check before you go. These are secret gems.

I'm also a Funko Pop collector, and they have a huge selection of Pops to choose from, including plenty of store exclusives. They have a membership program you can join and regularly receive coupons for (usually pretty good ones too), and as I said before, they donate meals to charity as well. They also ask to round up your change on your order, with the difference also going to charity. One of my biggest issues is, they have a ton of awesome shirts, but they just don't make big enough sizes for me. I'ma big guy, so it's an issue I have a lot, but they have such awesome pop culture influenced shirts here, it can be pretty disappointing. Some of their stuff can be a tad pricey, but they constantly put stuff on clearance and if you join the membership program, you'll pretty much always have BoxLunch Money to spend. All their employees are always helpful and happy. If you're a pop culture addict, you'll either love this place, or hate it for taking all your money.

Of course they are pricey, but artwork always is pricey. The messages inside the cards are often brief and sweet. It is the artfully designed card that sets these apart from other card stores. The store offers numerous pretty gift wrap options. They sell a variety of gifts such as cute little books, some clearly for the over 21 crowd. The cards are buy three get the fourth one free so I always buy four cards at a time. They often have cards for the holidays far enough in advance so that it recently was possible to buy St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Mother's Day cards all at the same time. The Sushi Happy Birthday card is my favorite!
